“1st time ever here. My sister bragged about it forever until finally after a loooooong day at Legoland celebrating my son's 3rd birthday we decide to eat there for dinner. I ordered the Loaded baked potato burger...BOOOOMB!!! Sooo delicious I wanna go back for more. Anyway, my son was asleep when we got there and literally when he peaked and woke up. Our waitress Jacqueline paid attention and got him a little brownie to sing to him....he was soooo happy. Jacqueline really made our night with great food suggestions and attentive to with my family. Highly recommend it there. Definitely going back...thank you soooo much for a great finish to a great day“
“The resturaunt itself was nice and clean. The service was friendly. The mashed potatoes were really good. Everything else I was not impressed unfortunately. It was our first time here. The brussels sprouts, asparagus and bread were ok. The brisket was pretty good to ok but could have been more moist but the steaks were even more dry, didn't seem to be marinated, very under seasoned and flavorless. We ordered mediums but it seemed more medium well. They remade one of the portions that was supposed to be medium rare but it came out tasting and looking exactly the same. It could be the steak itself and not necessarily the way they're preparing it, I really don't know. It just wasn't good, and what we really came there for was the steak so it was pretty disappointing.“

I'll start with why I couldn't and end with why you should come here anyway.Cons:I ordered from here twice, and both times I got the pesto chicken sandwich (YUM) with different sides. The first time I ordered the garlic Parmesan fries and I got so many! I was very happy with the portion. The second time I got grilled veggies for an extra $3 and while they were delicious, I got three cauliflower heads and four large slices of squash. After seeing the fries portion AND paying an extra $3 for grilled veggies, I was disappointed in the portion size. See photos.Also, I'm a ranch girl, and their homemade ranch is dying for more herbs.Pros:The food was great (except the ranch). I went last night for the 100th time and it was just as great. Jason was our server and he seriously crushed it. He was always around to get us another side, napkin, water - whatever we needed. “I just love Nanays BBQ. The name and ownership has changed throughout the years but their food has stayed the same. They were the first one to introduce me to Filipino barbecue and now I'm hooked. I come here once every 2 weeks to get my Filipino barbecue cravings. The food here is always fresh and delicious. My favorites would be the lechon, longanisa, and all the Filipino barbecue. Whether it's a combo or meet by the pound they always give you generous portions here. The staff here is very nice and love to tell you about the food. I hope to one day try everything on the menu but for now I'm slowly checking everything off the list. This is a takeout spot so either you can take it home or there are tables in the food court. Parking is plentiful but can get busy at times.“

“I’ve been to Shabumi two times now, once to try the KBBQ option and the other time to try the hotpot option. Both times I went during lunch time so there wasn’t a wait, though it might be a different story if I went during the busy dinner hours. Because it was lunch time, the price was pretty reasonable, not sure how I’d feel paying for the dinner prices though.I really like that each person can choose between one or the other, that the table doesn’t have to choose just one. I also really liked that it’s individual grill/pot so you can individually choose ingredients/spice level.For KBBQ, I ordered the chuck eye steak, beef belly, beef bulgogi, and galbi. My favorite from these are the belly and bulgogi. You can order three meats at a time and they’re pretty quick with bringing out orders.For hot pot, I ordered black Angus chuck tender, prime chuck eye, beefy belly, and brisket point. The meat was pretty good quality and looked/tasted fresh. My friends and I chose the chicken soup base since it was the recommended one with the most flavor. I wish they offered a spicy soup base, but you’re able to make your own sauce at the bar.The salad bar was packed with lots of choices for noodles, seafood, vegetables, and other sides to add to your pot. Green beans were too salty. Plain fries were another hit! The loaded fries were too much for me... plus they have a great drink menu. Sauces were underwhelming - they had a strong vinegar taste. However, the sandwich didn't need any more sauce! Beyond delicious as is. Also, I haven't found a restaurant to serve Not Your Fathers Root Beer until now! Service was polite, friendly, and prompt. “Didn’t know this place existed until I stumbled into Sieu Sieu BBQ restaurant while visiting another store in the same plaza.No frills restaurant but authentic Cantonese BBQ! When they were chopping the roast pig in pieces, I can hear the crispy sound of the skin. 3 hours at dinner time, the roast pig skin is still crispy and the meat was perfectly seasoned (not too salty)!!!Also got a salted chicken. It was cooked just right, no blood still in the bone. Meat was juicy and tender. They also gave a big container of ginger onion condiment for dipping sauce. Yummy!Price is still a little cheaper than other nearby BBQ stores. Plenty of parking spaces.This is the place for roasted pork and BBQ items. We will be back for more!“

“Very inexpensive (for 2024) burger joint. Very basic interior, and the food came out fast and hot. Counter order and pickup, but the cashier was helpful. Got an original burger that is just as you'd expect, but the bun was a bit dry. A surprisingly meaty patty for the price, I also ordered fries and cheese curds which were cooked in good oil, and seasoned well. I don't see fried cheese curds often in San Diego, and they weren't the best or worst I've had in my travels so I will take that as a win! Pretty good food that could be a 5 star if not for the bun, at super cheap prices. Hope they make it!“

I just wish there was more sauce on my BBQ beef and that I asked for extra to take. Katsu was juicy and well cooked. The portions are large so we had leftovers of both.Parking is tricky as you need to technically go into the lot next to it, but I just parked on the curb outside to quickly run in.“
