“Ordered the Wet Birria Tacos with everything on it and despite the sizes of them being small (see lime for scale), they pack a punch for flavor so get extra! The service was speedy, and they were super gracious with explaining how they work. Their being Zabiha halal (view their instagram) is a great way for everyone to eat and I can't wait to see what else they do with their food.“
“We moved in the neighborhood recently and decided to give this a try. The service was quick and very friendly. The food was even more amazing. We tried the torta and quesabirria and were amazed at the quality. Some of the best in SD. Will definitely come back.“
“Excellent food truck carnitas.... They use Gabriel's tortillas, so you know they care about the quality of their food. The tacos surtidos were exactly as they should be...a nice spicy salsa to accompany the moist pork... With a hint of lime to cut through it all... Bravo! Location isn't exactly family friendly... But bonus if you like the locals only dive bar scene.“
“Badas Burgers was invited to our PTSA Fall Event (October 2023) Truck arrived on time, food and service was good during event.Badas Burgers was invited to our Fall Event and agreed to donate after the event to our school's PTSA. Sadly, Nick (owner) was contacted SEVERAL times requesting the donation he promised, but as of now, he has not replied nor made his promised donation.“
“I ordered Cowgirl fries and I'd say it's surprisingly good! I liked the flavor combination of fried crispy chicken with applewood bacon and fries. I don't usually eat jalapeño in my food cause I see them as 'decorations', but these ones actually gave a nice balance to fried chicken. Fried chickens were not dry nor burnt which I liked as well. By far the best food truck I tried among many my community managers had invited.Anyway, I didn't get to try their shakes this time but I'm down to get their food next time if I see them around UTC area. If you guys have any regular spots let me know.PS: well about the kiosk, I actually liked it better than ordering at windows. Sometimes I feel awkward to take time looking at the menu while people in the truck are waiting for me to order. No thoughts on the pricing tho.“
“Howdy cowgirls and cowboys! For a bar on top of a feed store- it's pretty nice. Any night of the week - it is packed. It's small and local which is great! It does have great drinks and reasonably priced, it has line dancing and great music. Sometimes they have food trucks which is fun. If the dance floor isn't for you- they have pool table and corn hole. This bar is for everyone and fun.“
“Best hidden gem in Lakeside (or wherever it is)!!! This little truck has the very best grilled shrimp burritos and fish tacos EVER. We have lived in East County for over 25 years and sampled every grilled shrimp burrito and fish taco in a 15 mile radius. Promise- you will not be disappointed. We just had a party of 20 people who mostly just ordered the grilled shrimp burrito (ordered the day before) and they all loved it. It's a big burrito, so we always cut it in half and eat the other half for lunch.... And it's good COLD like a sandwich the next day. Sounds weird but it's literally just as good cold. We also got about 4 shrimp ceviche to share around. That’s good too. Oh and don't forget the chipotle mayo and green sauce! It is our Friday night regular stop on the way home after a busy week.Ambiance is just a parking lot but the little Hispanic market there also has the best no-name brand tortillla chips and fresh tortillas. So we shop while we wait for our food. So that's why we also line the ambiance!“
