“Natalie hand crafted an "off with your heads" (double caffeine) coconut iced coffee that was awesome! Starbucks, take a hike, so glad teachers in the area have this spot to lean on. Super convenient drive through, great prices and responsive service. Made my day!“
“This is STRICTLY about the food. As a pizza connoisseur hailing from the nyc/nj area. I can say the best description for this pizza is a cross between Costco and Chuckie Cheese. Not bad just nothing to rave about. It's like you buy it to Shut your kids up about pizza, not because you're craving it and want it yourself. The Garlic bread was also an interesting take. It was just buttered toast not the traditional Italian bread you'd expect as an actual Italian pizza spot.Sincerely an East Coast Pizza Connoisseur.“
“Looking for a great place to have a beer or two? Little Miss Brewing is the best! The Lakeside location offers a wide variety of beers on tap, great ambience, and friendly bartenders (Kevin rocks — usually at the La Mesa location on Wednesdays).“
“I ordered a custom blizzard cake and the employee on the phone was very kind, quick and efficient with helping me place my order. It was ready the following night and I picked it up this morning. Oh my lord did it take my breath away. The employees at this location are amazing. My lord. Them cotton candy blizzards are from heaven.“
“Samantha “Sam” is wonderful. Such a treat. Jorge cooked me a full-flavored chorizo scramble with beans. Salsa and sour cream on the side. And some nice warm flour tortillas. Then I ordered three large cinnamon rolls to go. I’ll have to write about them later. Plus I have to come back as locals say the fish tacos are “so good.” ALOHA.“
“This place is small, intimate, cozy - and brimming with loving kindness! The treats are so good that you can forget that they are far more healthful than those in almost any other coffee bar or bakery. I love this place and the people who work here!“
“I went in during a dinner rush during the week apparently. Marisela and Paul were pushing out the orders in a timely manner and they were very attentive to everyone waiting plus those dinning in. The food was amazing, always is! I love this “
“Great place with extensive wine options at reasonable price point, and amazing staff. Cute place with great food! Love the staff, everyone is attentive, friendly, and even when busy they are so accomodating. Food is great and they have specials from 4-5pm every day! Wine list is so long, and they offer a great deal if you want to try a flight. Sommelier is excellent at recommending things. Only one restroom, unisex/shared so don't wait till the last second! Parking in back, two spots in front and on street.“
“INCREDIBLE, authentic, all-vegan Mexican food, tucked inside the Grossmont food court. Don’t let the location dissuade you — this is one of the best vegan spots in all of San Diego. The flavors and textures are on point and you can tell every dish is hecho con amor. Large portions and great customer service, too!Vegetarian options: All vegan!“
“I LOVE this place!!! I have eaten here multiple times, and every single thing I get on the menu is absolutely delicious, being a vegetarian. Sometimes it’s hard to find good food that I can eat out and serve my family. This place is amazing, all of their food is absolutely delicious, their bagels and their pastries are super fresh and delicious. The workers are Friendly and kind!! I highly recommend this place!!!!!Vegetarian options: Amazing!!!!!“
“There are so many things I love about Ultreya. It's legitimately my favorite spot to grab a treat, and I must admit I do that quite often. This place has San Diego vibes all over it for me. Aside from great friendly down to earth service and ownership, they have a good menu of healthy drinks and treats, some even inspired by san diego herself. I first fell in love with their lavender latte with macadamia nut milk. Yes. MACADAMIA NUT MILK. Chai latte with lavender was the next evolution of drink order and now I am all about their matcha latte. Their butterfly effect is earthy and grounding. They also have VEGAN PASTRIES, and right now I can't get enough of their babkas. While you're waiting for your order you can browse their little local business corner where you can find candles, tarot cards, stickers, essential oils, clothes, and more. They also have another corner that hosts a book sharing shelf. This place is my favorite place to do computer work, good internet connection and outlets spread out, and there is always space inside and if you want to enjoy the sunshine, they have outdoor tables and seating (patio furniture new addition). I wish they were open til later since i'm a late starter and can't get enough of this place. but i know there is more that goes into this decision. I'm just grateful they are still here post pandemic and constantly growing as a business.“
“Had the Ahi sandwich, with avocado. It was delicious! The owner came to our table to check up on how we were doing, very nice!! Appreciated the attention all associates took to make sure we enjoyed our lunch. The potato chips were made from scratch, I gathered them up and took them home, they were so good!! All ingredients are super fresh, this is a rare experience that you will not want to miss!!!“
“Tried the Barbacoa de borrego?(sheep), so tasty, comes with a consome with garbanzos, tortillas, onion and cilantro(lemon).. big enough for two or maybe three..dont forget the beans and rice Omg so good.. I gotta go back and try other food on menu. Support local restaurants you'd be surprised?“
“Definitely I would recommend this spot to anyone ! Located right next to my gym in Santee, me and my buddy wanted a post workout meal and thank god we chose this place. We were starving ! The menu is Huge !!! Massive ! Thankfully the cashier at the front recommended me, some items. I got the roast beef grinder sandwich and my buddy got the Filet mignon wrap and we both shared the BBQ Chicken flatbread. The bbq chicken flat bread was amazing ! Literally so good I wanted to eat the whole. My sandwich was really good also the freshness, was out of this world! but I took a bite of my friend filet filet mignon wrap and it was amazing !! I'm jealous of him because it was so good ! We also got all natural smoothies from here, which next time I'll come and get it before I hit the gym. They also serve beer! Can't wait to come back and try another item on this Huge menu !“
“We discovered Public Square a month ago during one of our visits to the Friday Farmers Market on La Mesa's main street and truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the customer service and the food.I had the avocado toast (which I had never had before) that also includes hummus, veggies, a wonderful and unique dressing and an egg, which I had scrambled on the side. Filling and very tasty. We went back this past week and had lunch there again so now it is a go to for us when in La Mesa.“
“Rob's is amazing - ever since it opened, we have enjoyed some of the best espresso and cold brew in San Diego. Everyone there makes an effort to make you feel welcome and part of the community. This will always be our coffee spot in East County!“
“Wow. This place is so cute and beautiful. Fresh flowers everywhere, baked goods showing, great food. They have fresh muffins, breakfast and lunch options. Great prices. We had the La Mesa omelet or the one with bacon and avocado. Country Benedict, Greek salad with chicken, and the Spinach croissant.“
“A nice salty little tap room in a place we never would have found if our dog hadn't broken a $550 nail... The bartender was the pleasantly gruff you would want to expect at a wee neighborhood place. He definitely had me nailed just walking in for a Porter, the wartime chocolate, and a fine pick it was. As always in San Diego, a very IPA heavy menu (5 IPA, 3 cream, 2 sour) out of 16 taps, but the Kolsh was good as well. Atmosphere was very nice, for a cozy little place, especially for Canadian WWII buffs. If I am back this way, I will be back.“
“Party of 5 sat at a table ... Had special drinks for Sat ... Best meat was the Brisket ... Everything else was real good but the Brisket was beyond compare. Dessert was awesome, had the bread pudding. Everything was commendable but a bit pricey for BBQ and I noticed a 5% additional fee added to the bill because of the increase in minimum wage and I reduced the tip accordingly ....“
“I'm quite picky about my frozen yogurt, but I have to say, this place is awesome. The texture and flavor were both fantastic, and the customer service was excellent. It was my first visit today, and they've definitely gained a new fan!“
“We moved in the neighborhood recently and decided to give this a try. The service was quick and very friendly. The food was even more amazing. We tried the torta and quesabirria and were amazed at the quality. Some of the best in SD. Will definitely come back.“
“Love this place. I have gone a few times and each time has been a good experience. Went at night and they only had one server at the time and she was doing it all. Serving drinks and food. Props to her. Atmosphere is great. Drinks are affordable, and the food is good.“
“Ordered the Wet Birria Tacos with everything on it and despite the sizes of them being small (see lime for scale), they pack a punch for flavor so get extra! The service was speedy, and they were super gracious with explaining how they work. Their being Zabiha halal (view their instagram) is a great way for everyone to eat and I can't wait to see what else they do with their food.“
“My friend, who is a native Iraqi, took me to Happy Time and I was blown away by the authenticity and deliciousness of the food. We ordered a sampler of things and the kanaf at the end was simply mouth-watering. Five stars for the food, service and friendliness!“
“This restaurant is in downtown La Mesa seriously amazing. Probably the best burger I've ever had. I got to be the last burger before they sold out. it was so juicy but honestly this sauce they put on top has like southwest flavoring, and they have roasted poblano peppers on top of the burger. So much flavor but not falling apart. This place is clean, nice and the most accommodating staff. The owners were there and took care of us personally. It's definitely worth the line.“
“Best place to bring a toddler for breakfast/lunch. The staff was lovely. Tasty, comfort food with good pricing. Kids pancake was in the shape of Micky so that was a bonus! And the best thing of all: the planes! We sat facing the air strip and between watching planes take off, helicopters flying overhead and the toy plane the waitress brought my son to enjoy while waiting for his food - it was nonstop entertainment. Will be back!!“
“Abbey, our attendant was friendly and greeted is with a smile...good customer service! Brought our food to the table quickly...thank you kitchen staff. Abbey followed up to see if our food was good and if we needed anything. Food is healthy and filling. Yum! Thank you Rancho San Diego staff!“
“Decided to check this place out with a friend real fast, and we were satisfied. The games were half off. The staff guy was really sweet & fun and the music was really good. It's a small spot, but there are lots of drinks, so it's definitely worth checking out! The baja Blast Seltzer was one of my favorites !!!!“
“Everything about this place is amazing. The best baklava and pastries! Beautiful and delicious! Their drinks are also fantastic, whether is the house tea or chai tea latte I’m never disappointed. Bella who works the counter is a doll, so sweet, and makes great suggestions.“
“Glad to be able to have authentic Italian in my neighborhood. Celebrated my mom's birthday. I always order carpaccio di manzo, and calamari fritti. It was rainy Monday at 6:30. The restaurant was very crowded. Recommend to make a reservation.“
“this place is very good. amazing options for vegetarian and in general. the food is amazing and pretty healthy too. the service is impeccable and they are always asking me if i’m doing okay and i just find customer service like that to be superb. and they have craft soda! the kind of soda that doesn’t make you feel fat when you get it and is just the better soda options altogether. definitely on the pricey side with my ordering coming in at 15 dollars every time but for the quality i think it’s worth it.“
“I love this coffee shop. The drinks are delicious and the prices are reasonable. Service is fast and friendly. It's drive-thru only and has been for some time. I really enjoy the cookie butter latte, dark chocolate cold brew, and the bees knees. They also have punch cards that will earn you $5 off.“
“Cute space, great coffee. All sizes get 2 shots of espresso. Decided on their Honey Lavender latte - delicious. Hubby wanted his usual Caramel Macchiato, so Caramel Latte is it. Kids got hot chocolate, my son described it tasted like marshmallow. Overall good!“
“Coffee connoisseurs need their lattes, cappuccinos, or other coffee drink made somewhat consistent. The barista Autumn makes the perfect cup of coffee every visit. They usually work Mondays and drinks are made yummylicious and consistent every time without fail! My wish would be that the other barista team members shadow and learn from Autumn. Because there are a lot of inconsistencies between baristas. We have arrived home with coffee drinks that taste bitter and burnt more than a few times and that’s no bueno for this coffee connoisseur. Honest but true, thank you.“
“I loved their mocha! Great local coffee place and café. Lots of outdoor seating and parking. The staff was super friendly. Great experience! I will definitely be back. My only disappointment is that they do not have merch! Would have loved to get a fun T-shirt, hat or beanie. Coffee culture is a thing. Coffee lovers like to collect merch from memorable coffee houses in our travels. Hopefully next time I am in town, I will be able to pick up a fun T-shirt. ??☕️ ?“
“This place is hoppin! Monday nights are a great night to come here and learn to line dance, or just watch all the beautiful people line dance. The crowd was mixed with young people and their parents ( I think) I know I look like someone's parent. My kid would never be seen with me here, but anyway. I had an imperial stout and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I used to be a stout/porter/dark beer girl. Ok, I was a beer babe back in the day. But nowadays, I only drink tequila or seltzers for the carb savings. On this Monday, I chose to break my new pattern and enjoy one of my old favorites. The Imperial stout had good carbonation, was full flavored but not over powering or bitter. It was excellent if I might say. I saw that they have events every night of the week, and this place is very popular, trendy, and happening for a SANTEE establishment.“
“An affordable, local fruit bar with a wide array of options from smoothies to sandwiches is definitely hard to find. However, El Cajon definitely counts with Sweet & Green as one of their hidden gems. Not only is the service very friendly and accommodating, they are patient when a potentially clueless client such as me walks in. They offer a variety of custom food and drink options, all reasonably priced. They also offer Mexican snacks and candy--Mexican in brands, not themes (very important). I got the Meat Lover's sandwich, which was nicely toasted and had a large amount of meats that were neatly placed so every bite was consistent. Their corn in a cup was jam packed with corn--which most places unfortunately displace a lot of delicious corn and spices with water to increase profits. Their "Escamocha" was a delicious fruit salad with my choice of ice cream, which was the perfect ending. With three booth tables and a high top table, the overall mood is casual, friendly and relaxing. They always have music that is both catchy and great additions to your playlist. This place has become my "go-to" place for delicious, healthy snacks, a relaxing ambiance, or everything in between. Keep rocking!“
“Absolutely delicious! We came on a Friday for an early dinner and it wasn’t busy at all. You order inside then sit outside. Since we were visiting, we ordered a little bit of everything. All the food was delicious and cooked well. I got the wings, I’d maybe suggest sauce on the side as they had a little too much for my opinion. Out of everything the ribs were our favorite and the hot link was our least favorite. The Mac n cheese was a hit for my kids. If you’re getting fries, make sure to get the Cajun fries, the seasoning was perfect. There is no kids menu, so make sure there’s something your kids will eat before you come.“
“One of the best in n outs to ever exist. This by far has to be my favorite in n out. It is in the best spot for the local residents in Scripps ranch/ Poway. It is never too busy to where you cannot find a place to sit. There is an overabundance of parking here. The food is always made fantastic. There's not much that I don't enjoy about this in n out.“
“Sooo deliciousGreat portionsI had the shrimp and grits and let me tell you I would go back just for that!!The shrimp was a nice size perfectly seasoned and the grits with the cheese was perfection Soo goodMy mother had the fried fish and she isn’t a fan of fried but said it was goodThe breadstick that came with the order was delicious tooMy only disappointment was the dessertI ordered the banana puddingIt wasn’t Bad just not as good as I hoped since the other food was soo goodI will definitely be returningParking: Parking is a little trickyIf you go on a weekday when there’s less traffic you should be fineI parked on the street a couple of feet away from the locationThere isn’t a big sign and it isn’t a big restaurant so you may miss itThere’s no parking lot so you have to get the closest spot on the streetYou shouldn’t have to pay as you’re only picking up food for less than an hour“
“The food was fantastic, especially the sides. While the Onion Rings fell a bit short of expectations, the Potato Salad, Coleslaw, and Mac and Cheese were all hits. The Pulled Pork stood out as our favorite. What truly makes this place shine is the exceptional customer service – prompt, attentive, and truly awesome.“
“THE PIZZA is fantastic. One of my favorites in La Mesa. I prefer to eat at the location it is great for groups of friends and teams to gather and enjoy a meal together. The place gets packed but it is always fun and there is always a great neighbor or friend there making the place feel like personal.Kid-friendliness: All paper and plastic makes it easy to clean up, picnic benches makes it easy to serve, open seating find a place that works for your family.“
“Great boba place with a very chill and pleasant atmosphere. There are a ton of options here to choose from that all sound so good. So many that it's almost hard to choose. A little pricey but worth it for the quality and attention to detail. Service was excellent. I highly recommend if you're looking for authentic boba with enough options to customize your drink to exactly your liking.“
“Art & his "A" Team are an amazing crew & even better at making delicious sandwiches. Check out their daily specials or even create your own special the way you like it.Parking: The location is in a short strip mall with other businesses, but there is parking that turns over quickly.Kid-friendliness: There was a small family inside when I got there & they were all eating peacefully at one of the tables.Wheelchair accessibility: I am not an expert but the location area was labeled as wheelchair accessible.“
“I'm a regular visitor, live in the neighborhood. There's something about this brewing, it has its own charm. They have sour and regular beers. Two separate warehouses. I prefer regular and there are lots to choose from. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday they have food track till 8 pm and live music on weekends. The atmosphere and people are very nice here. It feels like a family:). I recommend visiting this place on the weekend evening.“
“If your on the edge about this place, jump off the cliff. Cause it's a place you can't take the chance to miss. Everything we ordered was on par or above expectation. The meet was tender and juicy beyond belief, we all fought over the corn bread, but the surprise of the night was how unbelievable their turkey was! We were blown away by the quality and the amazing work ethic that must have gone into cooking such flavourful food. Kudos to everyone in house. Yall are great at your craft and we appreciate you for it.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian itemsDietary restrictions: They have allergen free items“
“We stopped here for a coffee before heading into Costco, which is next door. Great decision as it’s a quaint and welcoming cafe, with a variety of coffee drinks and food items. Smoke seating inside and out, with friendly service. Highly recommend!“
“The staff at Corbin is great. They were really friendly and offered great suggestions. Not only did they do that, but they even gave us a little extra portions of fries and mac (which were so good.. couldn’t keep snacking) Lastly, the meat.. San Diego has a lot of BBQ options in my opinion and this is in my top few. don’t go to phil’s ?“
“As always, Giardino doesn't disappoint! We had a family meal with 8 of us and everyone loved every bite. Tuesday Chilean sea bass is delicate and melts in your mouth, the braised short ribs are perfect and tender, the calamari is top notch but my favorite appetizer is the sausage. It's soooo yum! Let's not forget dessert, the tiramisu is house made and delectable and the pistachio cake is indulgent and delicious! The staff is quick, friendly, and really the vibe is feeling as if you're with family. The owner is a treasure and really wants to ensure you're enjoying your meal and accepts all feedback. Don't hesitate to try this restaurant!!“
“This place is one of the best kept secrets in Lakeside. I've lived here for over 15 years and never even knew about this place so when I ate here for the first time, I was floored. The food is amazing and feels so fresh. The service is really nice, plus our waiters and waitresses had really good recommendations. The atmosphere is so nice, feels very comfy yet fancy. Highly recommend eating here.“
