I do go to this location more often now cause it's closer to where I live now but they are one in the same. Amazing burgers and fries...employees are always smiling and happy to help u out. The food comes out hot and always on time. This location also has a movie projector that displays on an open wall inside which has on different movies or sporting events that u can view from anywhere inside. Also has a few places to eat outside in the nice Marin weather. Place in Fairfax and the establishment in general has been in biz since the 50's I believe. So if that doesn't answer the question of whether this place is fire or not then I dunno what to tell u! ?“

“Nice to finally find a place to eat real and excellent food in SF as most places up the Pier areas are just fried fried and fried with obligatory French fries. One of us had the salmon which was gorgeous but the chicken pot pie was a revelation with loads of meat and veg with a creamy sort of stroganoff sauce and thin buttery top crust. Given that we had paid paid more for a burger in LA airport on the way to SF having a lovely meal for less was excellent. If you are near the Marina or Fillmore Street area please check it out. Nicest food I have had after 12 days in SF and Los Angeles.“

“Simply had to see what all the hype is about with In-N-Out. The place was wall to wall people with standing room only. Luckily the simplified menu made ordering fast. Fries are homemade from actual cut up potatoes. They were good but could have been deep fried longer to give them that extra golden crispness, instead they were kind of white and limp. The cheese burgers looked exactly like pictured very tasty being fresh off a grill! Had the milkshakes as a beverage, they were OK better than Mc D’s but not as good as some others. All in all the value for quality was great. Appreciated the hot peppers to help our self to. Added that extra kick to the burger.“

The first experience I had here was horrible, but I recently stopped in again out of desperation and because I had my hungry daughter with me.So, now they offer regular condiments and stuff for the burgers, not just a weird minced up mixture of pickles and stuff. I appreciate that. I feel like a burger is supposed to have lettuce tomatoe onions and pickles on it, regardless of where it's coming from. That's just the standard across the country. Well, the burgers at this place definitely hit the spot! At first, we were skeptical due to the line going out the door to order, yet it was moving quickly, so we decided to wait and order. Took minutes to do so. You’ll see on the video clip how they keep the grill “moving,” literally ?. The service was friendly and efficient. They know how to “move” the food so people leave satisfied. It’s a cook to order place, amazingly! The only reason I rated them lower on the atmosphere is due to its size; standing room only—you go in and you have to come out. We saw only 3 or 4 tables to sit at and they were occupied. But honestly, they’ve made their space and this restaurant work. As they say, “the proof is in the pudding…or hamburger ? “. Great job! I had the pesto farro which was really tasty. My dad had a French dish with chicken and vegetables in broth that was really beautiful. I ate his carrots.
