“The setting was nice ,but they could not seat us inside or on the porch. We were seated in a tent area outside and it was out of the sun and cold. We made a few trips to the car for jackets. The food was ok. My daughter got two fish tacos and they were great. My husband got the fish sandwich and it was nothing special. The prices were high for what we received. We are just passing through and aren't aware if the pricing is to be expected for the area. In my opinion this place is trying to be higher end craft food realm but hitting more in the run of the mill area.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kid menu.“

“Everything about one’s experience here is superb. From the moment you walk in until the completion of the meal - it is top tier service. They care about all the details, from the freshness of each ingredient to the suggestions and pairings of items. We started with the olives and avocado salad - the olives were warm and juicy, and the salad was fresh and light. Paired well together! We also ordered both the squid ink special pasta and the truffle - they were absolutely delicious. We also ordered the garlic Parmesan focaccia and finished off with the chocolate mousse dessert. 10/10 recommend, everything was perfect!“

“Scoma's was one of the highlights of my summer last year. It was at Scoma's that I discovered that I am, in fact, a Lazy Man who requires Lazy Man's Cioppino. The restaurant is lovely, tucked away on a pier. The service was wonderful -- the waitress was really nice and seemed to love the food.The lazy man's cioppino was incredible! A warm, savory, thick tomato broth with perfectly cooked seafood. The mussels and clams were so juicy and succulent. The scallops (3) were so good, fat, and tender. The shrimp was yummy and not overcooked. The fish was well cooked -- not my favorite component, but still good. And of course, no need to get down with the crab shells since the crab meat has been pre-picked. I am a lazy man and this is my cioppino of choice. Definitely worth the price!The Rockefeller oysters were meh; too much cheese and spinach. I've had better broiled oysters (Acme in NOLA!). The oysters themselves were good, but it was hard to tell under the cheese sauce.We were seated next to a couple who had moved from the Bay to the East Coast, and cited Scoma's as a reason why they missed the Bay. I definitely want to return during future visits to SF!“

I've server was very accommodating and friendly, super casual and comfy service. Seafood was crazy fresh with all sorts of ways to indulge. I especially loved the little pieces of sushi style ginger mixed within - delicious. It should also be noted that the service was exceptional, toeing the line between attentive and breathable to a T. “My wife and I are on vacation in SF and picked Fog Harbor based on recommendation from a family who lives up there. We were able to secure a reservation, were seated promptly at our reservation time and had a very attentive waiter. The blue cheese garlic bread was awesome, but way too much for two people. We split a garden salad and the mixed grill and added crab to it. They have two menu items that are crab in the shell, but you can add crab meat to any other entree. The mixed grill had salmon, cod, shrimp, and the crab. All were excellent. Green beans were the veggie and were cooked perfectly and buttery. We passed on dessert as the rest was very filling, though the dessert tray looked tasty when we saw it go by a couple times.The views of the bay are beautiful with the sun setting over the Golden Gate just as we sat down. Fish: Batter isn't too thick, and the fish has a flaky solid bite. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside with seasoning that won't overpower the mouth. Shrimp: The same solid battering with the same seasoning profile. Shrimp was not overcooked and it provides a different texture compared to the fish. Fries: Fries are fries. It's nothing special, but they didn't mess it up. Clam Chowder: Rich, creamy, loaded with seafood, and it can surprisingly compete with the better clam chowders around town. Service: It's a food truck. You order, you pay, and you get your food. It's not hard to mess it up. Ambiance: The picnic benches under the umbrellas around the truck isn't bad given the San Francisco climate. The tables are sometimes sticky though because they're probably not wiped as much.“

“Such a hidden gem - One of the best Thai restraunts Iv'e had in the Bay Area! They have a main menu that mostly contains the more standard Thai dishes that might see at a lot of other places. But they also have a hidden menu with some really unique Thai dishes that I haven't seen very often here but had when I visited Thailand and this brought back tons of memories! For the 2 of us, we got the fresh raw shrimp appetizer, papaya salad with blue crab, crab omlette, and stir fried morning glory. All the dishes were yum, but the first 2 were quite spciy! Servers are also super friendly and price is very reasonable for SF especially considering its location in the Marina. Highly recommend!“

The server gave us a lot of attention and even double checked whether or not one of the items (a roe pasta) we ordered would be okay for us after describing it. He offered to switch it out in case we didn't like it (we didn't have to - it was delicious).We ordered some raw miyagi oysters, the scallop crudo, a lobster roll, and a fish roe pasta. The lobster roll had a slight spicy kick to it, which was a bit different than I expected.The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance, with indoor and outdoor table seating as well as a bar area. Parking can be a little tough in the North Beach area but you can find parking if you don't mind walking a bit. “great place for some classic and not-so-classic sf seafood. i highly recommend that visitors get mike's crab wok, an asian twist on a sf staple. you could split it between two people, but one hungry person could definitely take it on. on the rest of the meal my dad says: "the seafood linguine was perfect, some of the best seafood i've ever had. i'd fly out here just to have it again." all the seafood is fresh and you can taste it. while i don't think the prices are all that worth it, i think it's a great spot for a special night out.our waitress was super helpful and gave us honest feedback on our ordering decisions, as well as offering a great dessert spot.it's worth noting that they offer sourdough as their table bread, something apparently hard to come by in the sourdough capital of the us.also worth noting: bathroom by the kitchen is haunted“
