“After living in Europe for 5 years I’ve been missing the bakery with in house made things, but I’m so glad I found this cafe because they have the best muffins I’ve ever had. Not dry at all. Everything else in their bakery I’ve been eyeballing because it looks just as good as the muffins, so I can’t wait to order other things too. Their pastries are a good size, too. And I’m also reliant on good coffee, and find myself craving the chocolate mocha I got from there both times. It’s not too sweet or bitter, it’s just perfect with a great texture. “Visiting Long Beach and had Door Dash deliver a couple of cupcakes to our hotel. I had the orange & cream cheese cupcake - my daughter had the red velvet. She loved hers and I think mine was probably the best cupcake I have ever had. Cake was super moist and packed with flavor. “My favorite bundt cakes bakery! Located in Bixby Knolls, Bundts on Melrose is a cute family owned and operated shop. Their cakes are delicious and not overly sweet like Nothing Bundt Cakes. Each cake has a thin layer of frosting and is so moist. Strawberry Lemonade is an all time favorite but they have something for everyone. The service was great and seamless. I called in my order ahead of time as I was looking to pick up a 13 pack of bundts for my daughter's birthday. It was the perfect alternative from a traditional birthday cake!“

I ordered a cake via their website for a co-worker who is vegan. I am not familiar with a lot of restaurants in town who offer fully plant based products so I was stoked to find one who fulfilled my order same day (within 2 hours at that!). I went to pick up the cake and the staff was so friendly and helpful with my many questions on the establishment as I had never heard about it before. Once my cake was done, the staff who assisted me took the time to ask about when the cake would be served and gave me helpful tips on storing it until the next day. The attention to that while they were busy was wonderful! On top of the nice service, I also bought a caramel apple cinnamon roll to try at home. My my my it was very tasty!! “Good 1st time here. Dog friendly seating, which was a BIG plus, considering I brought my dog with me. Service was pretty good here! The food was good, but my partner said his plate wasn't the greatest ( steak, mashed potatoes & veggies ). I had no complaints, My kid got chicken tenders & fries. “Gemmae's has always been our go-to when it comes to family parties. We usually order the ube cheesecake and lumpia for pickup. The flavor and quality are always consistent, so we always go back. The online ordering system is very convenient; thus, picking it up at specific times has never been a problem! They use real ube, not those powder kinds they use at boba shops. I know.. I grew up mixing ube during fiestas in Silang, Cavite. The lumpia is excellent, too! The size is bigger than the typical lumpia from other Filipino joints. The inside of Gemmae's is excellent. However, there is no indoor dining, and it's solely for pick-up. One thing to note is the parking. It's situated in a small lot and can get full quickly. But there's plenty of free parking in the street. I will keep coming back here for our orders. The customer service is excellent, and the food/dessert is fantastic!“
