“Finally a place I can order 1/2 lb of shrimp if I just want enough for myself. Not forced to pay for more than I need. The "Big Boy" beer is just a great deal and lives up to its name for sure! Try the catfish fry it's super fresh and the Cajun season fries are drool worthy! Really nice staff that is always there to assist if anything is needed. It's also very clean and spacious inside with a hand wash station available outside the restrooms. Very happy with my visits here, I live down the street and I'm very happy about being able to get this whenever I want!“
“The Daddy sauce is addicting! I always get the Daddy Shrimp Bowl with daddy sauce and it's always perfect! Recently tried the Wet Daddy Wings and they are terrific! Perfectly crispy and good amount of meat on them!Service is always great at this location! I love the small cafe vibes ! 10/10“
“The food was so good that I totally forgot to take a picture. We stopped by around 8 pm on a Friday night, there was no line and we got seated pretty fast, service was friendly and phenomenal. The ambiance was nice and neat, I like the decoration. We ordered muscles and king crabs and it was so good as we requested mild and it came out pretty good. I highly recommend this new place.“
“CF Food Kitchen has long been one of my favorite restaurants in the valley, so it was about time that I wrote my review. Hidden in the corner of a shopping center, one would never guess the wonderful flavors nestled within. With a rotating 3-course menu (typically ranging at a very fair $40-60 price point) and their classic entrees, there is always something delicious and new to try here. Also, since the first day we came here, the server has been very welcoming and hospitable, even seating us at "our" exact table every time we come in. If you want a fine dining experience with incredible food and atmosphere without breaking the bank, CF Food Kitchen is the place to go.“
“This has been a favorite of mine for many years. The food has only gotten better especially with the addition of grilled items and the drinks are to die for! The only thing lacking here is the service. As a black person who is committed to spending my dollars in black spaces and places, it continues to be annoying having to deal with many black servers/hosts/managers with bad attitudes. There's a few great employees here but unless you come often, you never know who you're going to get. There's a female host who always looks mad and irritated, why is she a host? Put her somewhere away from customers. On the other hand, there's a server named Marcus, who should be employee of the month/year/decade for his exquisite treatment of all customers! There's a few, very few who are truly amazing and excellent servers here. Also, one of the nicest people to me in this black establishment was a white gentleman. It is incredibly difficult to understand why it seems like many black businesses are fine with the mistreatment of their black customers. So if you've got the patience, you WON'T be disappointed with being here & just maybe you'll get Marcus or one of the nicer servers.“
“I was going somewhere else but the wait was too long and I am glad it was, because that's how I found this place. Way cheaper than other Cajun around here. Tastier, great service, beautiful decoration, TV and great music. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.“
“I have driven past this place no less than a million times. I have been wanting to try it for the longest and I am so mad at myself for waiting this long. My family ordered it for dinner last night. We each ordered something different. My son got barbecue chicken and mac and cheese. The barbecue chicken was drenched in sauce and it was perfection. It was so tender and delicious. He ate every single bite.My husband got the fried chicken dinner in sweet and hot sauce. It wasn't as spicy as he would have liked but he still devoured it.I got the shrimp and grits. It was filled with sausage which with spicy and had a nice little kick. There were shrimp throughout and it was so good. I literally ate every single bite. I never heard my family so quiet while eating. Everybody was so happy with their meal and ate every single bite. I don't think that's ever happened where we didn't have any leftovers.Looooove!!!“
“This past weekend my family and I dined in, all the times service has been just fine. This past weekend however, the service was absolutely amazing. Our server Andrea took her time and patience with my family. Andrea allowed my son to order even though it took him almost 10 minutes. She made him a hat and sang him happy birthday. Andrea even gave him a sticker. Our son is autistic and sometimes we have hard times and restaurant. Andrea was amazing with our son and made our family so happy with her enthusiasm, wanted to shout her out!“
“It was my first time here, although I'm allergic to everything from the sea except fish, which I only eat 3-4 times per year, I was able to find something that I could digest. The chicken tenders with lemon pepper fries are a must-have!! Coming from the Caribbean, the seasoning used for this dish is one I've never experienced. This plate can be ? so be careful!!!“
“Loved everything about this place! I never leave Reviews, however, people NEED to know about this place!Food = flavorful, fresh, big portionsService = gave great recommendations, quick, efficientOwners = very friendly and made sure our entire experience went smoothly, we were sat as soon as we walked in the door on a Friday night which was a big plus!“
“I always regret not taking pictures when I come. I love this place! I’ve been coming here for the past year & have never been disappointed. Food is always bomb, customer service is great, atmosphere/ music is always a vibe. Very happy we found this place.“
“The food HERE is Amazing. Definitely try the blueberry and the banana cornbread with the peach cobbler butter and the Creole and saefood pasta. I also ordered the gumbo. ALL dishes ordered were equally good and seasoned very well. Sending postive kudos to our server Lauren for her recommendation and service. Thanks for that peach cobbler and i wish i took some to go. I will be back soon.Vegetarian options: Veglie gumbo. I heard it was good.“
“There was a two hours wait but we waited it out and the food was very good. The service was quick once we got in. Not sure if it was worth waiting two hours and not being seats until very late into the evening but my family enjoyed themselves.“
“This is my first time eating seafood boil at a restaurant and I had a great experience here! Luis was our host and he was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and came out quickly. I ordered the shrimp (head on) and snow crab with daddy sauce and medium spice (I didn't feel that it was spicy, but perhaps that is just my tolerance). Would definitely recommend to friends.“
“Was able to try this food truck that was parked on my street. Haven't had a seafood boil in a while so I was pretty excited. Got the special #2 with lobster tail, 1/2 pound of shrimp, sausage, corn and potato for around $34. I got a mix of mild and spicy Cajun for a good medium spice. The first thing I noticed was how much flavor was in the sauce. The sausage, corn and potatoes were all great. The shrimp was good, just takes a little work as normal with seafood boils. I would prefer an option without the head-on. The lobster tail was the only mild disappointment, due to the meat being a little tougher than I'm used to with lobster tail. Overall the food was pretty good and the service as well. I'd try it again to get the crab leg and shrimp special.“
“I frequent this place quite a bit and love it! Bill is our favorite server when we dine-in. We call him Mr. Bill. He is always friendly. The food is awesome. At least the crab leg seafood boil is. That’s all I get and my friend likes the crawfish. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. This past weekend I ordered take-out. The young lady who took the Oder over the phone was kind as well as the young lady when I picked it up. Always a great experience.Parking: Huge parking lot shared with other establishments“
“First time here I have to say the service was outstanding. The place was very clean and the food was excellent so savory finger licking good definitely, I come back definitely I would recommend someone thank you Bella for your recommendation with the K of C mix Cajun seasoning.“
“Mache is amazing server! He took care of us! He made we understood what was the best way to eat at The Drunken Crab!!The foooood was AMAZING!!!!!! My god. Raw oyster, the best! The mussels, shrimp, sauce delicious!!!!! 3 sauce mix - on point! And we liked the Bloody Mary Saki! And the music was hitting the spot.“
“Chef Marilyn's has been a staple in LA for many years at this location and the other location across from McDonald's near 43rd. Lines are always long as it's a takeout location but the food is always good. I get her prices went up but what hasn't these days. Inflation is real for food, groceries and gotta keep staff at competitive wages. The food is so bomb nothing is never nasty chicken meatloaf spaghetti yams greens cornbread smothered chicken and her gumbo is everything. We love it here and will keep visiting. Her ambiance is a to go so it's busy and staff can be a bit slower but they are friendly. Some of the best soul food on the west coast.“
“Love love love Cajun/Creole food! I was more than pleasantly surprised to find this gem in my neck of the woods, and am happy to report that Mardi Gras Tuesday will be my go-to Cajun/Creole joint for the foreseeable future. Mind you, I'm no expert on the cuisine, but I've been a fan for a long time and can happily endorse the Étouffée (crawfish), the Jambalaya, the Mac and Cheese, hushpuppies, and the friendly service at Mardi Gras Tuesday. *Though the cornbread didn't necessarily wow me, all and all, it was a great meal for the portions, price and quality. And considering they got slammed as soon as we walked in (around the start of the Super Bowl), the service was quick and we were in and out of there with bellies full of comfort food within an hour. Can't wait to go back!“
