“Oysters looked good but I opted for the crab melt. I thought the crab was decent. The bread was nice and toasted which was a plus. Otherwise I thought overall the place was ok. Small seating area which is understandable considering where they are located. Could be a fun spot with the right people.“

“The super wet burrito with the green sauce is the bomb! we also had a la carte Chile relleno this is our second time having the same and it is so good!

“I love Bamboo Garden! They have incredible lunch specials that could easily feed 2 people. My fave menu items are pork chow mein and chicken lettuce wraps. The food is always fresh and good quality. Only thing bringing this review down is the below average rice, however great service and atmosphere are unbelievable for such a hole in the wall spot.“

“Love the salmon and my new fav is the dynamite shrimp bowl!! Rice cooked perfectly, shrimp are perfectly cooked and just the right spicyness and bright flavors to perk it up! Delicious! My dad in law LOVES the fish and chips! Says one of the best ever and he’s in his 80’s and from the south so must be good ! Lol 😊 only bad thing to say is the parking in the center it’s in is awful! “Great seafood boil restaurant! The place was decorative, and fairly clean for a seafood boil restaurant. The service was great, and the servers and staff were all really friendly. They had great prices, and their crawfish was HUGE! For the interior, it was really cool to see all the different people who ate there, and their decor was great. However, I feel like the lighting could have been a bit better, and have more brighter lights. Although the lights were a bit dim, the food makes up for everything!“

“Absolutely AMAZING hole in the wall ran by a sweet family. Stumbled upon this gem on our drive home and it did not disappoint. Everything was incredibly flavorful! We had the Phơ Tái, Kang Panang (red curry), Fried rice and Crispy Egg rolls. It was so good we forgot to feed the phone before digging in. Would definitely make the drive back.“

“This is the best one pho I’ve had in California. Pho is probably my favorite food ever and I’m always looking for a spot. The broth had so much depth I actually felt like the Sriracha took away from it. The noodles are fresh and so tender. My husband orders the bun plates and those don’t disappoint either. Now I’m always looking for excuses to be in Vallejo. Their service is awesome too. Friendly and quick. Restroom is clean. Nothing but good things to say. But seriously the pho is incredible“

“My favorite Sushi spot in Walnut Creek!!! It’s amazing here. I get the premium omakase and hand rolls every time. (Usually spicy tuna or salmon). The fish is super fresh and my favorite nigiri is the otoro of course.

They have some rolls there that are pretty good as well. The pacific roll is one of the ones we always get. But you can’t go wrong with all the others. Just pick the one with fish you like and it will taste so good.

Also the staff is so friendly and attentive. It’s worth it every time we go :)“

“Sept 21, 2025 - PM - The place is clean, cozy, makes you feel like home. Nice staff. Plenty free parking, safe neighborhood. Food was good with the exception of the onions. I actually like onions but the taste was too strong ( a first in my life) due to the cut in big chunks and not being cooked ( it felt as raw as in a salad) - I had 3 dishes, the bad one was the cashew chicken. At home I still had the taste of onions and some of it remained even after I brushed…Except the onions, the food was great.“
