“Bomb shwarma spot! Highly recommended. The wraps are filled with meat and delicious veggies. The sauces are very tasty as well. The size of the wraps are big and could probably feed two people. They also have dumplings that looked really good which I will probably try next time I'm there. Add jalapeños, it gives the perfect spice to the wrap.“

“No frills, simple, and homey restaurant with incredibly generous portions of biryani. I ordered the lamb biryani, which is one of their most popular items, along with a samosa and chicken roll to try. There's a service fee for card transactions (I think 5%). The samosas and chicken rolls stay in a small food warmer box near the entrance and is self-service . They call your name to pick up the main entrees at the counter. Chicken roll was really savory and the samosa had a good crunchy fry to it. The complimentary chutneys go well with them. The biryani comes with its own special chutney (sauce?) that brings a much needed brightness (minty-herbaceous) flavor profile to the otherwise salty and filling biryani. It took me 3 days to finish and made for great leftovers. :)“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. “After a session at the gym, I was fairly hungry and a protein shake wasn't going to do it. So decided to look up a few places and while driving, I saw this at the corner and this place had been on my bookmarks for a while and decided to give this a go instead. Since it's downtown and midday parking is horrendous, but since they're located near an alley, homegirl parked on the red and came in to do a to go order. Walked up to a kiosk and ordered 2 chicken shawarma, one with hummus and the other with mixed greens. ( Summer is coming around the corner, so gotta make sure we're staying within the macros.) I really did enjoy my plate, the wrap was packed with protein which I enjoyed. Usually a lot of places are skimpy with their protein portions, but the chicken was tender and full of flavor. It was also very refreshing as there was tabuleh and pickles. I like the little banana peppers addition to the salad, I just ate them with the shawarma instead. The hot sauce is creamy, pretty mild, but got the job done. PS Would you guys make a halal hot sauce? Just asking because some people like me would like our insides to burn. Lol. Would be coming back just to try their plate .“

“Wow. I liked Indimex before they changed management, now I love it! I wrote a review 7 years ago with a follow up 6 years ago pre covid. Remember when? During Covid and even more recently, I would order and have it delivered. But tonight I saw they were open and there was parking space right in front so I went in person. Wonderfully warm new owner, quaint dining room albeit small but remodeled and the new owner has plans for more. - feels more authentically Indian with a Mexican twist. Indian movie posters and music, colorful walls and tables. Their Chicken Tikka Masala sauce is the real deal as is the raita. Delicious. The chicken tikka masala quesadillas are reasonable and filling. I'm so glad they survived Covid and with this new management I'm excited to see what comes next. We tried their big plate chicken which was tasty, the laghman was totally worth the visit as well. The manta was made fresh and delicious. “As entreprenuers we travel the world and the unknown and get to have great experiences with people. Today we visited World Famous Grill in Downey and Hassan was the perfect gentleman. He helped us with a Kabob Combo Plate with hummus, rice salad and pita bread along with their famous Western Burger which was monstrous and delicious. I wanted something not too heavy on the stomach and of course yelp came to the rescue. Found Dogs Chicks on my search and decided to try it. This place has a private free parking lot (not easy to find this kinda parking when you're in downtown LA) so that was nice. The place is brightly lit (so that was good too). When we came in, all the tables were taken (there were probably 10 people there). By the time we ordered our food, one table was available so we decided to eat in. We ordered a classic dog each and shared the 4 wings and 4 shrimps + fries. Love the wings & shrimps. We chose the korean sweet sauce and it wasn't too spicy or sweet. Just perfect! Oh did I mention that this place is halal? Yeah it is .. they have the halal sign displayed and also a copy of their purchase order from a halal source. I would be back again .. becoz now I know where to go to satisfy my hunger pangs late at night!“

“The experience exceeded my expectations. I came in just a few minutes before closing, and the chef came out from behind and kindly took my order for chicken kebab. He offered two versions boneless or with bone I chose with bone and after I already placed my order I decided to add on a chicken Koobideh. He said that would be 20 minutes, so I relaxed and enjoyed the smell of my made to order dinner being cooked. When I saw it prepared, I opened it up with the chef and he gave me a big smile with pride. I told my wife I'm bringing home dinner. “My family and I drove 40 miles . Food was superb, mouthwatering, and clean. The meat was cooked to perfection. It tasted like the food my mom in Lebanon used to make . The owner Ali , and his beautiful and BLESSED MOM, were so welcoming, that my family and I felt that the restaurant was like HOME. Appetizers were delicious, just the way we were brought up. The Hamburger meat and the special made steak were succulent , cooked , and seasoned to perfection. Kebbeh was juicy, moist , and tender , with just the right amount of seasoning. Hummus was creamy, and delicious. Fries were well cooked and very crispy. The katayef were super delicious and light. The mom’s” znoud el set” invention were surprisingly better than the traditional one. Osmanleye was mouthwatering and surprisingly light. The service was Hands down the best we have seen so far in the STATES . The atmosphere was very inviting, which felt like we were eating at home. The whole staff was proactive and the smile never left their beautiful faces. My family and I would like to thank the owner Ali , his beautiful and blessed mother, and the whole staff who waited on us hand and foot . I think the owner was running the restaurant and was so helpful in explaining the menu and food. Very hospitable. I ordered the Birria Crunchwrap (like Taco Bell's but sooo much better). My friend ordered the Flaming Hot Nacho Fries (I think that's what they're called). Servings are massive and my Crunchwrap was loaded with beef Birria. Paired perfectly with the sauce they provide you, a sheet of lemon and the added Lebanese hot sauce from the table. The consume was seasoned well and the whole meal made my tummy happy.
