Eylan has a unique and modern twist to our beloved Indian cuisine. Modern but authentic! From appetizers to desserts, every dish was made with robust flavors and came with a beautiful presentation! and yes, the grape chaas pani puri definitely stole the show!😍 We tried a little bit of everything, and honestly, every bite was perfection.

“Momos are delicious. 10/10. You cannot go wrong with any vegetarian momos. Be it steamed, baked in a tandoor, or saucy (Jhol).

Breads are well-made to perfection. Curry was good, nothing spectacular. I look forward to trying other curries.

The dine in experience was excruciating. We were offered the pappadam immediately after we were seated. We waited 30 minutes for the momos (appetizer) to arrive and another 40 minutes after we finished momos for the main course (1 curry & 2 naan).

While we patiently waited 60+ minutes in total for our food, there were plenty of to go orders slinging out of kitchen every 2-3 minutes. I suspect this restaurant prefers takeout (they also offer discounts for takeout if I remember correctly).“

Pav Bhaji: The Pav Bhaji is absolutely outstanding—rich, flavorful, and packed with authentic spices that hit all the right notes. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had and an absolute delight for anyone craving real street-style flavors.

Portion Size and Value: The portion size is shockingly small, especially given the pricing. It’s hard to overlook how inadequate the quantity is, which really impacts the overall value for money.

Service: The service is average. While the staff are polite, there’s room for improvement in terms of efficiency and attentiveness.

Ambience: For a food truck, the ambience is impressive. The seating area is clean, well-maintained, and provides a comfortable spot to enjoy your meal outdoors.

“This is the best Indian food I've ever had!

First off, the plating and presentation of everything is stunning! We had four appetizers and each looked too beautiful to eat. They were ALL the most delicious and flavorful bites!

We also got the lamb, butter paneer, daal makhani, and the jafrani kofta. Each one was amazing! I couldn't pick a favorite. I've eaten at many Indian food places in the Bay Area and this one outdoes all others with flavors, presentation, and service.

Let's talk about the service!! Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly, checked in to see how we liked everything, and even brought out a dessert for my dad after hearing it was his birthday. We really loved everyone we met there, especially Romeo who was so attentive and kind!

I have a low spicy tolerance but handled it well and the spicy doesn’t linger long...at least not with what we got. It was fab. The evening we arrived we discovered the restaurant was open for takeout only that day, but they opened up just for the four of us and then several others joined on other tables. “The chicken is cooked to perfection and the naan bread is good as well. My only complaint is as our group was halfway through our meal, the waitress came over to ask if we wanted dessert. After we said probably not as we were still working on what we had ordered, she then asked if she can close the tab. I felt extremely rushed. Perhaps give your customers sufficient time to finish their meal before asking whether they want dessert (while everyone was still eating) and demanding payment (her exact words were “who’s paying) at that very moment. I like what we had ordered but not sure if i would want to be back again after last nights experience. We were only there for about an hour before she asked us to pay the bill. Service at this restaurant really can use some improvement. The timing of this waitress really ruined the whole experience.“

I ordered the tangdi kebab, the kerala fried chicken, chicken tikka masala and tandoori roti, garlic naan

The kerala fried chicken was 20/10. I cannot emphasize how good this dish is. The chef is a god amongst men. He peppered it with fried coconut flakes! This is excellent.

The tangdi kebab was falling off of the bone. It was so well done. 10/10

The chicken tikka masala. Felt like it was homemade. You know that scene in ratatouille when the food critic eats it and feels like it's his mom's cooking? That's what it was like.

The service from the owner was amazing. He prepared a fresh lime soda for us with full details.

Ambiance is extremely well done. Minimalistic design that feels upper class and CLEAN.

I think this is a masterclass in small business restaurant design. Others should take notes.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Only one critique: the garlic naan was a bit undercooked. But forgivable since everything else was too good.

“This was my second visit to Hyderabad Dim Biriyani and to my surprise the food was so much better and well prepared. Our mutton curry was little undercooked but once we mentioned about it the owner right away took care of us. I wish if they can make their naan for $4.—-little bigger. Also they should give some extra napkins to the customers so that they don’t have to ask for every little thing. I will recommend you to go and enjoy the food. It’s always good to complaint to the owner/manager so that they can take care of you and rectify if there is something wrong. #papihanandy“

“Kasa has beautiful restaurants in the Bay Area with a heart. The decor is gorgeous with pretty details sprinkled around. For example the bench outside the Redwood City restaurant is so pretty and show cases the colors and designs of India. The food itself is very comforting. It is inspired by the recipes of the founder's grandmother and it is delicious. I love the chai there and love that they have a chai kit. I have tried many Indian restaurants over the years and this is my favorite, top notch! I have tried most items in their menu a la carte as well when I’ve been there for dinner. Yesterday I visited again since I moved out of the Bay Area and their bengan bharta continues to be my very favorite of all restaurants I’ve tried over the years.
