“Went for lunch on Sunday at 1pm after it was recommended by a friend for having good dimsum. We thought there would be a wait but there were a few open tables so we were seated immediately. The service was attentive and the food came quickly. Go for the food, not the ambiance. The menu isn't as extensive than a dimsum restaurant, but we appreciated the variety. Our favorites: * String beans - crisp and flavorful!* passion fruit aloe green tea - refreshing! * pork belly with charcoal buns - my son who loves Peking duck said that he would rather get these now. Not sure if the charcoal buns are supposed to taste different than normal bao - they tasted the same to us. * braised beef noodle soup with wontons - delicious shrimp wontons and a very beefy broth. * pan fried soup dumplings - tasty filling and lots of soup to slurp up. Next time we would skip: * cucumbers - too vinegary. Seems like they may have accidentally poured too much vinegar in our serving. At least that's my hope. * beef kimcheese rice - more tomatoey than kimchee flavored. * XLB trio - couldn't really tasty the truffle flavor. I wish we could order just the crab ones. The others weren't that amazing.“
“Was looking for a new place to try with a friend today and stumbled upon Prime BBQ. Really nice joint in a quiet part of San Mateo, with some surprisingly tasty skewers at fair prices! Design of the restaurant is nice, and presentation of the food was great. My friend really liked the Chicken skewers, but I personally loved the lamb and beef skewers!! They also have proper bar inside for those who drink :) Would recommend checking out and having a fun night out“
“I love this place. Every time I come here they are so friendly. And their food is truly the best. A fusion of Thai, and Chinese cuisine. My favorite dish is the butter garlic crab with french fries. If you order it with a side of garlic noodles it's truly amazing. Their spicy Fried rice has chicken and shrimp in it and is actually very original in taste. Stephanie and Allie have always treated me well. This place is a gathering point of this particular community and most importantly, it's open very late. When everyone else is closed, this is the place you go to for gourmet food when you don't want to have a slice of pizza or fast food. I have met so many good acquaintances here. And this is where I bring guests that are flying in from out of town first. They are right next to the airport......“
“Ordered hot and spicy pork noodles - delicious, tasty but not at all spicy. Despite no heat, taste was very good - noodles were perfectly cooked, veggies were bursting with crunch and taste and pork was done well too and did I mention not spicy!! I also ordered the shrimp pork dumplings- spectacularly fresh! The place was packed on the night I dined in - indicative of its popularity! Only regret is that I didn’t have a bigger crowd with me to sample more of the menu!“
“Don't know what to eat, but want a quick and delicious meal?Paik's Noodle is such a solid option. Food is good. Portions are generous. My favorite would have to be their classic Jajangmyeon/Black Bean Noodle. The noodles are nice and QQ. The sauce is well seasoned and flavorful. It has a unique flavor from the fried black bean paste. Generous sauce portion too. I always have leftovers and add it on a bed of hot rice the next day. Love that they give you a side of pickled radish as a palate cleanser. Their jjampong and tangsuyuk is pretty good too.Staff are nice. Food comes out pretty quickly. Only thing to keep in mind is that the food court can get really busy during peak times making it hard to find a seat. Overall, 4/5.“
“Stunning meal, a restaurant that really suited the whole family and left us with leftovers for tomorrow's dinner to feed the family as well! Moreover, the service once we were seated was incredibly quick, it did take a while for our order to be taken, however, once put through the food arrived surprisingly quickly. The restaurant was very busy the day we went, showing the popularity among locals (and ourselves!). Recommend if you are in the area and have a hankering for asian cuisine.Kid-friendliness: Lots of children at the restaurant with families and they had high chairs available. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere.“
“The restaurant’s ambiance is casual, making it suitable for both family gatherings and solo dining. Plus, they have free parking.Think neon nights, salsa seats, and chefs doing the cha-cha in the open kitchen.Pot Combos (Simmer Huang’s Cuisine): Gather your food-loving friends and indulge in a simmering pot of goodness. Meats, veggies, and spices come together for a flavor fiesta.Utensil for dining is plastic like Togo fork and spoon.“
“De.Lish.Us. Worth the wait for sure. Want sure how to eat it since they brought me a giant spoon, so used it to mix it up then used my sticks. Was super hot (temperature) but tasted great! I'll be back. (Can we turn the heat up inside, though?)“
