“Exceptional experience in every way! The ambience is gorgeous and the staff professional from the moment you enter. The room is so well appointed and in December the heaters surround you with the sound of the surf outside. The table placement is perfect so they are close enough to make the atmosphere lively while the experience is very private. Our waiter Mauricio was so attentive but never over bearing. And the food.. well every course is beyond perfection. I love abalone which is almost never on the menu and it was a great treat to start. Next up was the carbonera which we wonderful and we were just warming up for the spectacular santa barbara spiny lobster another home run. We upgraded for the cheese cart at the end which was another fabulous experience and fun to have with the port. We were never rushed which is unusual these days and when we were leaving I noticed a young man ironing the table cloths with such precision and care it just reconfirmed for me that every detail no matter how small is attended too with passion and focus. Definitely one of the best restaurants in California and can't wait to return.”

We ordered a la carte and shared, can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We sat outside and were cozy under the heat the whole evening, they provide blankets if needed. The hotel grounds are beautiful to enjoy as well.”

“First time here for early breakfast…very good food, great service, pleasant surroundings. Went here for breakfast several times during a one week stay traveling from the Mid-Atlantic. Side walk seating is terrific with very little road traffic noise. Very impressed.”

The menu was slightly different than what we saw online, and there weren’t many non-spicy options, which made choosing a bit tricky. The food itself was good, but felt slightly overpriced for what you get.

Overall, a great spot for the atmosphere and views, but check the menu in person before you go if you’re particular about spice!”

They have a couple of dozen flavors (no coffee sigh). I really liked the dark chocolate (but only if you are a lover of bitter dark chocolate). The portions are large and the quality is excellent.
Worth a stop.”

“Delicious brunch and cocktails with attentive service. We had the eggs fungi and polenta with shrimp, both of which I recommend. The eggs, kale, mushrooms, and pistachio pesto were perfectly melded in the eggs fungi. The polenta is a great option for big eaters; we could not finish it. Cocktails (Bitterino Highball and Bloody Maria) were balanced and paired nicely with our brunch plates. Service was solid.”
