“The food here was very delicious, I highly suggest their pork chop and trout. Very unique combinations and full of flavor. Everything was great except for how crowded it. Just believe it may be busy during rush times. I would highly suggest making a stop here and do not forget their dessert menu.”

“We had an outstanding dinner at AMA Sushi. Every dish was exceptional, but the freshness and quality of the fish truly stood out.

Our favorites included the Kaisou Salad, Toro nigiri, Shima Aji nigiri, the Woman of the Sea roll, the Fukuda roll, and the Sake Kasu Marinated Black Cod. Everything was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious.

The hospitality was just as impressive as the food. A special thank you to Alessandro, who went well above and beyond for us. We were visiting from out of town and accidentally booked our reservation for the wrong evening. Despite our mistake, Alessandro was incredibly gracious, welcoming, and worked to accommodate us while we were at the restaurant. That level of kindness made a lasting impression.

From the spectacular food to the genuinely warm service, AMA Sushi exceeded every expectation. We highly recommend it and will absolutely return the next time we’re in town.”

“Pro tip: get there when they open and avoid the line which will go down the sidewalk! We were greeted by the manager while we waited for them to open and he thanked us all for coming. He is a great ambassador for the place and set the tone right off the bat. You order your food and drinks at the counter then grab a table. (Thats why you need to get there early so you have a choice. Otherwise, you get whatever opens up. If your party is bigger than 6 you have to sit separate).
The atmosphere is very clean and the food is fantastic. The outside garden area is really nice and has a fountain. If you can grab a window table inside you can people watch as people walk up and down the street onto Stearns Wharf.
Food. Wow! You can taste the quality as soon as you take a bite! We had the special green chili chilaquiles, the lemon poppy pancakes and coffee. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Their coffee was very smooth, not bitter like a well-known coffee chain.
Overall, a great experience and I would recommend it to everyone!”

The stuff was super helpful and gave me great suggestions of a second flavor to go along with it. I highly recommend this ice cream shop. We went after eating the out from Bettina next door. “Pavilions bakery in Montecito is the only bakery I will go to for a birthday cake!!! The cakes are decorated beautifully by an artist!! I met her!! They are also all delicious!!! “This restaurant is so pretty and we loved our waitress. We went on Sat night and dined outside. Food was delicious and we did not wait long at all. I was shocked at the bad review I had read earlier-I'm glad I didn't listen to it. We will go back next time we are in town. Bar is very lively, but the outdoor seating is pretty and quiet. My mojito was one of the best I have ever had!”

“I have only good things to say about China Palace. It is located by itself in the Lower Village so it's easy to forget it's there. Our lunch was excellent. Mooshu chicken, mooshu duck and hot and sour soup. Prices are very reasonable. Service was friendly. Drive right up and park.”

“We were visiting Santa Barbara for three nights from San Jose and were honestly shocked when we came across this Indian restaurant with 4.9 stars on Google Maps. We decided to give it a shot with no expectations, and it turned out to be one of the most authentic and best Indian food experiences I have ever had in the United States. Hands down.

The first time, we tried the Tandoori Paneer Tikka and Malai Kofta, and both were extremely delicious. The garlic naan was so soft and fresh. They also gave us kheer as a complimentary dessert, which was such a kind gesture from Jogan and the entire staff.

The service was quick, and everyone was genuinely friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we couldn’t resist going back for a second time during our three night stay.

The second time, we tried Shahi Paneer, Yellow Dal Tadka with rice, and salted lassi. Once again, they surprised us with complimentary kheer. The Shahi Paneer was rich, creamy, and absolutely hit the spot. The naan was incredibly soft, and the Yellow Dal Tadka was probably my favorite. It was a much simpler preparation with just the right amount of spices, but the flavor was spot on.

The staff here is genuinely welcoming and friendly, and the food is clearly made with care. We would absolutely come back here the next time we are in Santa Barbara.

Parking is also very easy. There is a public parking lot right behind the restaurant and another one across the street. The City of Santa Barbara parking gives you the first 75 minutes free, and after that it is $3 per hour, which makes dining here even more convenient.
