“We recently visted Half Moon Bay and were drawn to the delicious baklava in the window. Little did we know, this gem of a restaurant not only has fabulous food (definitely try their falafel and lentil soup and baklava) but incredibly gracious and welcoming service. They made us feel like we were entering their home. What a special place! The next time we visit HMB, we will be sure to have ay least one meal here and say hello to our new friends.“

“This was the perfect place for a family gathering. We sat upstairs and enjoyed the live music, views and festive ambience. We had mentioned we would be bringing a baby stroller and wheelchair and were provided a table with plenty of room surrounding it. The menu had many choices and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and provided good service. We look forward to returning.“

“Millbrae's best kept secret-is MQs Restaurant! A mix of NEW American Cuisine with a flair for healthy affordable ingredients. Our go to place when headed to San Francisco International Airport or Bart station . A fusion of flavors that is uncommon and hard to find at this price point in Burningame, Millbrae or San Bruno. We will be back again !“

“Found this little jewel by accident after seeing a Mexican restaurant and pulling into the parking lot.Cutest little place, playing 50s music. The name was confusing, but after seeing the menu, we took a chance. So glad we did!I had the Pad Kee Mao and my husband, the panang beef. Both were delicious! The owner, I believe, was a delight. Love positive attitudes. We'll certainly be back next time we visit Half Moon Bay!“

“Soul Rice has become one of our family favourite spots. Nestled at the top of Pacifica. We have been so lucky to have stumbled on such a great place. The food is oh So delicious. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Fresh ingredients. Food came out hot and timely. The owner is wonderful. We became rather friendly with him and will continue to go back and support this wonderful spot. The restaurant is very clean. Cute little fish tank to look at as you walk in. Great music playlist in the background. We had the garlic noodles which are always a favourite. Pork Salt & Pepper Pork Chop. Chow Fun/ Chow Mein. Mango Chicken. Honey Walnut Prawns. And a side of steamed garlic broccoli which was absolutely delicious. Thank you Soul Rice for a delicious dinner.“

“Great little hole in the wall for Indian food in the south side of San Francisco.Pros: Great parking space, very favorable, lots of different options, able to walk after lunch in the outlet area, clean place and restaurant, rice was included was entrees, and chai tea was great.Con: only con was that both chicken entrees seemed small as we only eat out once per week for our "cheat meal" I was hoping for more chicken to hit my protein intake. However the taste was amazing.Parking: Huge parking space in the outlet which includes other businesses.“

“Delicious American fare at SFO. The burger was good, it had a real nice flavor to it and was cooked very well. The fries were tasty nothing fancy. The wings had a nice dry rub on them. They were crispy and pretty big in size. It’s definitely overpriced for what it is but it’s an airport ?♂️ The service was friendly but it wasn’t fast. At the end your woofing down your meal and chugging your beer. ?“

“Stoped in for breakfast on our from San Fran to Grover Beach. This place is amazing - wonderful fresh food, friendly service from the moment you walk in starting with the cashier. It was super busy and you can tell they run a tight ship but fun, obvious teamwork with the staff here.“

“I eat Mediterranean food pretty often - maybe an average of 3-4 times per month. I also travel a lot for work, so I get a chance to sample Mediterranean food all over the country. All that is to say that I have a lot of basis for comparison. This place is really good. I just haven't run across Turkish style Mediterranean food very often. I love Lebanese food, but Turkish is somewhat of a rare treat.I ordered the combo Gyro plate, which comes with lamb/beef and chicken Gyro, rice, salad, hummus and a pita for $20. Plenty of food. Really good flavor ok both the lamb/beef and chicken Gyro. Hummus was smoothe, but a touch too oily. Salad tasted nice and fresh. Really enjoyable meal. Top 10 Mediterranean meal for me this year for sure. And, as a bonus, since it's a Turkish place - Turkish delight for dessert for the Win.“

“The service was great. Really appreciated the Yelp waitlist system which allowed me to sign up as I was leaving home. The army stew was big and tasty. The Dolsot Binimbap (tofu) was quite flavorful too. The banchan was pretty good - the fish is a nice touch.“

“This is outstanding food to either eat between flights or take onto your long foodless flight for a truly satisfying meal. Friendly and helpful and they had gluten free bread when I asked! A custom made gluten free hot sandwich is enough to make me schedule a flight to that gate area on a long trip!“

“I've had carryout from Hangetsu before but have never eaten in before. That was a mistake. Eating in, especially in the VIP room, is to be experienced. The room aside, I really enjoyed my meal. I had the miso black cod, which is a favorite and was as good as the best I have had (at Morimoto Philadelphia). The nigiri sushi were all fresh and delicious. I had the mackerel and salmon belly, and my son shared his o toro with me. Finished off with some mochi ice cream. And a Sapporo. What's not to love. See you again next visit!“

“This review is for take out, but either way this place is GOOD! I want to actually eat here sometime but I had to write this because I enjoyed it so much. My friend and I got take out and placing the order online was super easy, but you do pay at the restaurant and there was no option for Apple Pay or to enter your CC number. I got a dinner bento box with gyoza and tonkatsu. The gyoza was good, fairly standard but good! I really enjoyed the Tonkatsu, it was breaded lightly to perfection and cooked really well. The prices seem fair and comparable to other spots in the area. The restaurant itself is small and they only have a few tables but that's okay! Everyone I interacted with was super sweet, I can't wait to go back!“

“Our new go-to for spring rolls and papaya salad!!! **Our favorites: Shrimp papaya salad Shrimp spring roll I appreciate how their shrimp spring rolls have slices of pork and crunchy thick cucumbers. The peanut sauce is also perfectly thick and not runny. I dislike when the peanut sauce is too runny or too thick. The papaya salad is SO refreshing and the shrimp was C L E A N and sliced perfectly. Such a cute store name and the staff are very friendly and sweet. Parking is very very limited as there are stores next door within the tiny plaza.“

“You wont be able to get to the location jnless you have a flight but such a great interaction with the workers. They are all so sweet and kind. I orders a 2 entree meal and it was so much food. The beef was tender and savory, the pansit and lumpia was amazing, the chicken curry is a little spicy but overall very flavorful and I got some soup which was refreshing! The spoon isn't very helpful so I just drank it from the cup. They also have boba available!“

“Cafe De Casa has a secret Friday menu. My friend only found out about it last time because he asked someone eating it. It was Brazilian tri-tip steak. It comes with a plantain. If you ask for the combo, it comes with a plate of beans and rice, some sort of tasty potato salad with tomatoes, lettuce, diced tomatoes, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower. We also got the beef salad $17.25 and some pastries for about $5 each. Everything tasted delicious. The chef really did a good job with the Brazilian flavors. There isn't much out there that I haven't tried. It was nice to get that "new" feeling in my life. Sitting outside, on a nice sunny morning made it more special. Great job staff at Cafe De Casa.“

“I was very excited to find Gherkins Sandwich shop while on a week long trip to HMB. As a vegetarian we usually get stuck with the same repetitive sandwich options when going to delis, but I was ecstatic to see that most of their sandwich options could be made vegetarian by substituting the default protein with tofu.I got a number 19 - Cal Fire with tofu which had honey mustard sauce, avocado and cheese (I switched the pepper jack for swiss). My husband got a #20 - The Sheriff with tofu, which had a Frank's Red Hot sauce. I loved the whole gherkins on the sandwiches! The biggest drawback for us is that the sandwiches were very messy to eat. The tofu ended up being cubed, so the sandwiches started falling apart instantly. I think it would probably be better if the tofu was cut into slabs if possible. I also think some extra seasoning on the tofu would be great. The sauces on our sandwiches were also a little runny, which kind of added to the messy-ness.We had gotten chips but didn't end up eating them because we were so full after the sandwiches. Overall a good option for lunch, but I would have preferred if the sandwiches were a little easier to eat.“

“The happy hour and views are definitely the highlight of the restaurant. Thursday boast an all evening happy hour up until 9pm for the bar and high top area. The sunset views are breathtaking. The oysters were pretty good. The Dungeness Crab cakes were a bit bland and the meat isn't lump. Wouldn't recommend those. The service is a bit slow in the bar area. They could use another waiter or two for their Thursday happy hour.“

“The best sandwiches in South San Francisco: Little Lucca! This place is usually packed with a line out the door, but we decided to shoot our shot since it was raining and hoped there wouldn't be a line and luckily it wasn't that long! Everything is made to order in front of you and you can add what you'd like. They have a garlic and hot pepper sauce which are sooo good and a must get. They definitely don't skimp on the add ins and both our sandwiches came out packed and HUGE! We were able to save and eat the other half for dinner haha It's a really nice place to grab a sandwich and maybe head over to the beach or somewhere nice to enjoy. We ended up taking it home and decided to toast it a bit and it was perfection. Next time you're in South San Francisco and looking for a sandwich, come check out Little Lucca! Everyone was so nice and patient even with a rush.“
