“I've been on a mission to try omurice with demiglace sauce and not the lazy ketchup drizzle. While Aoki No Chuuka didn't have Omurice, they did have Curry Omumeshi. It looked interesting and from the pictures, it looked like demiglace sauce. So I ordered it to try. This was very tasty. The curry fried rice is delicious. While the sauce doesn't seem like it is demiglace sauce but something similar to Bulldog Brand Sauce. It still worked. Definitely recommended.“
“I ordered the tuna nirvana, animal roll & Lucia roll. The tuna nirvana had a great variety of veggies inside, I want to try more vegan rolls! I loved all the rolls and I will definitely come back to eat again. I did take out and love all the packaging. They put the sauce on the side for the rolls so the rice doesn't get soggy, I love the details!“
“I really can't say enough about how good Kashiwa Ramen is; I love it so much I've eaten here several times in the last two weeks. This has to be one of the best ramen spots in OC currently. It originally started in Japan and came over to the States. In terms of quality, it definitely seems authentic.I've tried several items on the menu, and every time, it's delicious. I highly recommend dining in, but even if you order to go, or through doordash, it always comes piping hot and high quality.Today, I tried the Tsukumen, which is hard to find at other shops because it is a traditional dipping noodle where you dip it in the soup. I would highly recommend trying their tonkatsu ramen, although they also have other great items like smaller portion chashu rice bowls, which I swear the meat is so soft and tender. The chashu pork comes out great every time. The soft boiled egg is perfection. Both the straight and wavy noodles are wonderful. They also have a swirl broth, which is absolutely delicious; it's a mix of their pork and chicken broth together. They also have green tea, which tastes really crisp and fresh. They also have chicken if you don't eat pork.Overall, I really love Kashiwa and plan to continue frequenting it. The only critique I can give is that I wish the waitresses would check in on the tables at least once or twice every so often. Everyone is so kind and polite and the service is very fast. Dining by myself, i am in and out in under 30 minutes or so.Thank you so much for the wonderful meals, I plan to continue coming here in the future, and I hope more people come too.Vegetarian options: They do have tofu as protein for all ramen, miso ramen, sea kelp ramen, and other various side dishes like egg on rice.I would double-check with the waitresses to make sure the broth is 100% vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: If you do not eat pork, they have chicken as a protein topping as well.Parking: Big parking lot in a busy shopping center.Kid-friendliness: There are probably not a ton of options for kids, but if your kids are more adventurous, im sure they would enjoy it. I believe I've seen kids eating pretty plain ramen, just noodles and broth.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm pretty sure it's accessible to get in, but it is a small store and pretty tight. You may be able to fit your wheel chair at the counter if you ask.“
“Love this local spot. The ramen is so good, love the Spicy Miso especially. It's got good flavor but not too spicy. All the rolls have been yummy too! The vibe is anime which is super cute and casual. Service has always been solid even when they are busy. Have been back several times and it's consistently good!!“
“Amazing Ramen. I make sure to come here every time I am in Irvine. Completely worth the wait (I think it was about 45 minutes to get a table, but it is also Valentine's Day, so may not be the normal wait time)Vegetarian options: The menu is small, so the only ramen dish is the vegan ramen. But, it is so good. I would get it every time even if there were other options“
“Tried this place out for lunch and left very happy! It was pretty dead for a Thursday at noon but I assume for evenings they get busier. My husband got the OG Platter which came with two tacos, a quesadilla, and a mulita and he was happy with the portion size. I got the Birria Ramen and man was it full of meat. They normally put cheese but I didn't want that with my ramen. The broth is so good and not too oily like other places. I really enjoyed that the meat was not too fatty so you are getting good quality. We also got a churro with lechera and strawberry ice cream which was so good I forgot to take a picture. I enjoyed everything so much I can't wait to go back!“
“Got the Tokyo Mazeman regular everything (garlic, etc) and it was AMAZING. Glad they gave rice for the end because I wanted to soak up the leftover sauce and chives. Also, adding their house vinegar really makes the mazeman and cuts into the oils of the sauce - highly recommend. The regular Tokyo version has a small kick, so I also had their draft Asahi to make the experience just right.Vegetarian options: There's a separate section for vegetarian and vegan optionsParking: Parking is easy in the plaza“
“I absolutely love Sushi and this is one of the best tasting sushi places I have been to in a long time. Maybe I was hungry. I had Tonkatsu Raman and the Raku Roll. The raman was very good and the Raku Roll was OUTSTANDING!! The roll was very large including ample fish and non-rice fillings. Price was also reasonable. I will be back next time I fly to SNA.“
“My friend and I ordered cold soba noodle combination with fried shrimp and veggies, takoyaki, curry soba and fried cartilage. They were all on point. The handmade soba noodles were cooked just right - chewy and bouncy. The fried shrimp with sweet soy sauce on top of white rice was also ?. I highly recommend this place!FYI, my friend is Japanese, and she approves as well!“
“I’m from Japan and I used to try many different ramen places. This is one of the best ramen place. Noodle texture, soup flavor and chashu, everything was too good. I have pretty high standards for ramen but this is the only place that I go back!!“
“Dinner was delicious. But wish the server told us the speed and order the food items were going to come out. Restaurant was super cold with air conditioners blasting. So when our cold and hot food came out simultaneously; we had to rush with hot food first.“
“THE BEST RAMEN EVER! I normally go to the Irvine location on Michelson, so I was SO excited when I saw there is new Hiro nori closer to me in Tustin! Hiro Nori ride or die here and this place NEVER disappoints. I've been to multiple different Hiro Nori locations over the years and the ramen is consistently amazing at all of them. Service is always quick and employees are always friendly. I think the Tustin location is my favorite, decor/design wise. They did a great job, it's such a vibe inside! Every single item here is absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. I've tried every single menu item and equally enjoy them all. If you go here and the wait is long, WAIT! I promise you it will be worth it.“
“We made reservation via Yelp. This restaurant is located in a small plaza with limited parking spaces. The service was excellent. The restaurant looks like a typical Japanese yakitori restaurant. It's clean. The ramen tastes alright. The yakitori tastes alright too. It's a nice restaurant just have a drink and to hang out with friends.“
“The food court environment makes this seem like it wouldn't be that good but I love the Ramen here. It's also a big plus that they re-did the seating in the food court area... Used to be almost impossible to get seating on a weekend.“
“We have been coming to KH for years, decades! The quality and authenticity of yakitori is just legit. All parts of the chicken is used and grill to perfection. Try them all, maybe in a few visits to you will be able to taste all the skewers! you will not be disappointed. When you enter KH, you are transported into the land of Japan and you will enjoy this ride so much, you might plan your next trip to the actual country of Japan. Enjoy this little trip to one of the best izakaya in the OC.“
“This was my first time to Silverlake Ramen here in Huntingtin Beach. I am visiting from Tamoa, FL, and we are having lunch with business clients and friends today. Bell Terra has a lot to offer, and Ramen was the choice. We ordered the combos with classic pork and gyoza as our side. Not to mention the churro and ice cream for dessert. Huntington Beach has changed so much since I lived here in the mid 2000's. Staff was very helpful and waking distance from hotel and apartments.“
“Small ramen location of a large chain. You start with a basic ramen lacking the seasoned egg and seaweed. By the time you add these options in, the basic tonkotsu ramen is close to $20. While the flavor is good, it is more expensive because if the nickel and diming with the options. The green tea tea bag here is $3.75 each, while Ai Restaurant charges $0.95 for the same.Parking: Small parking lot. The night we came was Christmas Eve so only the other 2 Japanese restaurants in this strip mall were open. It feels like this parking lot would fill up quickly during workday lunch times.“
“This was the closest ramen spot from our hotel which was perfect after a late night that resulted to a sore throat. There was no wait list even though it was lunch time. The space itself is compact but had a welcoming atmosphere.I ordered the Mild Slurpin’ Ramen with chasu. The spice level had the perfect kick. The broth was creamy and delicious.Would definitely come back again!Parking: This is a compact plaza with public and valet parking.“
“Such an amazing place!! One of the best ramen places I’ve been in OC. It feels authentic and the vibes are nice (music 10/10!!! Servers are amazing and the price is right! The karaage chicken is delish and the black garlic ramen 10/10. Serving portion is perfect!! Would definitely go again. おいしい!!“
“This is the first place that I have had tsukemen which was fishy!!! It's a pork based dipping broth, which I much prefer. The noodles themselves have a great chew and the dipping sauce was appropriately flavored and not too salty like some dipping broths I've had in the past.“
“I went here because all the other ramen places I enjoy closed down. Was pleasantly surprised by how the food was. The service was good though I can’t say much because they weren’t there that long. The atmosphere was pretty calming and the music was a 7/10 in my opinion. Overall this place has good food, good service, and a good atmosphere.“
“The ramen is really good. Tonkatsu ramen broth is very yummy and smell good. The black ramen is spicy. Egg was boiled perfectly. Sushi is just ok, just like they’re there to complete the menu. The vibe inside really feels like Japan. They’re running promotion 11.99 tonkutsu for dining in. I think it’s super worth it!“
“If you are looking for a more clean and flavorful broth for ramen, this is the place. Highly recommend this place because of their fresh ramen, great service, reasonable pricing, great for family setting, and creative flavors. Hands down best ramen place in OC.“
“Holy moly it's Godzilla the king of all Ramens. The atmosphere is delightful, very quaint and cozy. The miso ramen definitely wouldn't bring any dishonor to any samurai in that kitchen, make sure to get it extra extra spicy to satisfy the tongue. Would recommend and come again.“
“On a rainy day during my visit to Orange County, the buzz surrounding Le Shrimp Ramen in West Coast Plaza drew me in, promising a perfect remedy for the weather—a steaming bowl of ramen. Opting for their signature trio shrimp ramen, I was not disappointed. The soup delivered an extraordinary blend of saturated shrimp flavor, brimming with the freshness of various seafood elements and a delightful creaminess. Each bite of the crunchy shrimp balls and the remarkably fresh shrimp felt like a direct connection to the ocean; the quality was truly outstanding, as if the seafood had just been plucked moments before reaching my table. The highlight of this culinary experience was the ramen itself—chewy, al dente strands that complemented the richness of the soup and the textural delights of the shrimp. Despite the seemingly limited menu, Le Shrimp Ramen excels in curating an array of flavors that encapsulate the essence of fine ramen. The combination of exceptional soup, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked noodles makes it evident why this place is the talk of the town. Le Shrimp Ramen has successfully captured the essence of an exquisite ramen experience within the simplicity of its menu, offering a delightful journey for any ramen enthusiast.“
“It was so delicious. Best ramen I have ever had. Broth was so flavorful and rich, noodles were perfect, pork was delicious, the eggs were really tasty. Those octopus takoyaki balls mayo, sesame seeds, dried seaweed, and green onion toppings were amazing, my mind was blown. Will visit again, it was outstanding ?“
“This was perhaps the greatest this was the best dang bowl of the most delicious ramen we've ever had in our life. Everything came quickly with a smile and fast mode. A funny thing happened to the left of us that made us laugh/smile inside the pleasant restaurant of decorations nicely. We camped out (as evidenced by pictochat) for many winters for this broth and it filled us heavily. - Monday Dining Association“
“This was a pretty decent sushi spot within walking distance from the beach, however it's a little pricey. There's a few tables that you can sit at outside, which unfortunately comes along with having to deal with quite a few flies. The sushi quality was good & the gyoza was my favorite! I'd come back to try the poke.“
