“Chilis doesn't disappoint. You know what you're getting into. You know it'll be at the price you're expecting. Food items are solid. Got a combo meal with ribs, chicken strips, Mexican corn on the cob (which was amazing... FYI I love the elote man you find walking these valley streets lol). It was a definite good spend. I got an adult beverage that was featured on table signage. AMAZING. My buddy and I usually stop somewhere on our way home from a day of fishing. This will definitely be added to our list of options.“
“Ruben's is a solid, reliable taco truck in this area. Whether it's past midnight or it's pouring rain or incredibly windy, I can always rely on Ruben's being there. I think where Ruben's really shines are the non-standard menu items that you wouldn't normally find at a taco stand. For example, I often get their California Burrito because everything is made fresh-to-order, so it's great to have some incredibly crispy fries with every bite. I've also started getting their Wet Burrito too--that thing is massive and comes with a nice heaping of enchilada sauce. Both burritos come with chips and salsa too, which is a nice touch. Lastly, their Fish Tacos and Shrimp Tacos definitely deserve some recognition. I think they are some of the best you can get in LA for the price, and they come with very generous portions. The staff have always been very nice there, and they have some folding tables and chairs setup but it's mostly a take-out crowd at Ruben's. Go check out Ruben's!“
“Our first time here I went to order something for my friend and I, and something to go. Either I didn't say it or he didn't hear me, but we got the wrong order. By the time we addressed the manager (Patrick) with our issue, he took care of it right away. This guy has been bartending serving food, cleaning tables. He's all over the place. I would hire this guy in a heartbeat. I felt very welcomed here. I will definitely come back and bring my friends and Fam. Great looking place. Great drinks, delicious IPAs bomb chicken quesadillas and nachos. The Reds salsa is delicious too very fresh. By the way, I got the chicken tostada for my roommate to go and it looks massive size. They hooked it up with salsa and chips. Looks fantastic. Thank you“
