“After visiting Hijo de su Madre several times for their award winning and phenomenal Yucetecan vegan greatness I was quite excited when I saw on their IG they were adding a vegan burger menu. It just launched a few days ago, but is already my favorite burger (got the Phat Hass Burger) in LA and I have had them all. Even more profoundly, they have the best loaded frots I’ve ever had by a landslide! “I found the company through a google search. I looked at multiple Los Angeles catering companies, and found Bite Catering to be the best one suited for my event. I loved how their website was so easy to understand, and I could independently calculate how much everything would cost, and what services were available. Great setup there.I ended up hiring Bite Catering Couture for my 50th birthday celebration (about 20 people) at my friend's home, and they delivered promptly, were very professional, and kept me updated on status of food, leading up to the day.As for the food itself, it was FANTASTIC and perfect for what I wanted. 1-2 bite appetizers, some more substantial than others (mini burgers vs small puffs with goat cheese). My favorites were: The whipped goat cheese/olive tapenade on top of puff pastry, the fruit platter was amazing and fresh and delicious. To quote Willy Wonka, "The Strawberries taste like strawberries!!!".. :)The lime coconut satay dipped in peanut sauce skewers were perfect. And the mac'n'cheese bites, dipped in an aioli were delish as well. Their sauces were perfectly matched to the food bites.The slow roasted tomato and herb tarts were delicious and had a very flaky pastry. I love goat cheese & tomato so these were a favorite of mine. And surprisingly, the caprese skewers (which had olive oil/balsamic for dipping) was gorgeous! That one surprised me how good it was.I personally polished off the rest of the Herb Mediterranean shrimp (dipped in lemon basil aiola) at the end of the night. So good! And the mini BBQ bacon cheeseburgers were perfect for those people looking for something more traditional and hearty.They have a good amount of gluten free and also vegan options, which was great because all the people at my party could then partake of the food. They also have options to purchase room temperature foods, and also foods that need to be heated. Both of these are delivered refrigerated. I purchased half room temp, and another half that needed to be heated for up to 8 minutes in the oven. The trays they were delivered in were ready to heat in the oven (once the cover was removed). So, getting the food set up was a breeze.All in all a great experience. Definitely would order from them again. Thank you so much!!!!“

“I knew it was going to be fire from the crumb of smoked fried chicken breading I had from my bf's plate. I had to take a moment to prepare myself. The fried chicken was so expertly seasoned and crispy. I got the 3 meat combo, pretty reasonably priced for the amount of meat I got. The sauce is awesome and the meat is juicy and tender. I had to take my nose ring off cause I was so serious about this BBQ. Cornbread is so soft and fluffy and tastes like something your grandma made. The writing on the bricks from people all over were not lying. Nice people behind the counter and great vibe. Best food I've had in El Segundo.“

When I say, Troy was on the phone with me for about 30 minutes until we worked out the right package for my 60th birthday party, he was very patient and the rest is history. The service was superb from beginning to end, with little to no supervision. They came in found the perfect space for set-up and it was on and popping. The food was amazing and the staff were very professional and interactive with the guests. There were nothing but compliments for Troy and his team! Highly recommend! Job well done!​“

“This will be the third time we have used Nana's Kitchen. So clearly, we love what they do. The food is fantastic, a step up from your normal taco caterer, and we loved the passed appetizers while the guests were arriving. They set up a beautiful buffet spread and used gorgeous bowls. Everything was fresh and delicous. They homemade the tortillas and served delicious guacomole, again homemade. The servers were ontime, self sufficant and cleaned up after themselves. They boxed up all of the leftovers for us which was really nice.The only negative I could find, and you just need to know, is that beyond the food/catering fee (minimum of $650 for 40 people) they charge a travel fee, a convenience fee to use a credit card, and a 18% service fee which is NOT gratuity. So ontop of the food, you will need to expect to pay about 40 % more on the charges (your own tip to the servers, their 18% service fee and travel fee and of course tax). They are transparent about it, but something you should know. With that being said, I would still use them again.“

“This is the cutest shop for buying natural wine, cheese, or any other cool girl cookware/homeware items, and I'm happy there's a spot like this on the Westside! I came around lunchtime to try one of their "secret lunch menu" sandwiches and ended up ordering the Hot Girl Salami baguette sandwiches for $12 (since their regular sandwiches were $19). The sandwich was good and was generously stuffed with meat, cheese, and greens, however I wish I ordered the Franch Girl sandwich as the combo of flavors in this sandwich were pretty one-note. I would definitely come back to buy gifts for friends that are into food and wine (and pretty packaging). They had a handful of cookbooks, olive oils, some preserves/sauces, and even beauty products and candles. Bonus points for stocking one of my favorite natty wines, LS Gris by Wavy Wines. It's a very aesthetically pleasing and well curated space, and I'd love to return!“

“I am from Philadelphia,Pa. I come from an area with very good Italian food and I worked for an Italian Market in Warminster. The Bruschetta was meticulous and delicious, my wife had the Picatta and I had a Calzone. Pasta was perfectly to the tooth. The chicken tender and flavorful. My Calzone (I make my own and have eaten them all over) was exceptional and the sauce was fresh and lovely spotlight on the tomato. On my list for returning and highly recommended if you like Nonna-style Italian food!!!!“

We also got churros for dessert and they were SO good. I could have eaten 100 of their churros. We also got a side of chips and guacamole. The burrito was super yummy, but it was pretty cold. It didn't change the fact that it was super good, it just wasn't quite what I was expecting (especially since the churros were warm). Could have been because of the delivery, which is very fair. The quesadilla was also pretty cold and my friend reheated hers. The chips were very tasty but definitely needed some extra salt. The overall flavor of everything was super delicious, though! And the chicken was SO good. I'll definitely be ordering again (and hopefully go in person!)“

He was very well organized, clean, efficient and friendly. Definitely helps keep the mood at a fun event. Pork and beef tacos were my favorite, but chicken wasn't bad at all, either.
