It just launched a few days ago, but is already my favorite burger (got the Phat Hass Burger) in LA and I have had them all. Even more profoundly, they have the best loaded frots I’ve ever had by a landslide! All four were delicious and had its own distinctive style. They lived up to the “gooie” expectation and were really filling. I think two cookies were enough to get me good & the others were extra credit. Load up on napkins and the customer service was great.Just be aware the gas station didn’t have whole milk, just 2% but all the cookies were still phenomenal by themselves. Having had an Italian Chef for a Father, I grew up being able to tell good Italian flavors from a simple dish like Meatballs and Sauce (gravy)! Both were excellent from Sugo! Hot from heat, great texture and fine flavors and plenty of food! I'm looking forward to delving deeply into the menu next time! The rest of the family dinner was a hit with everyone too! “This will be the third time we have used Nana's Kitchen. So clearly, we love what they do. The food is fantastic, a step up from your normal taco caterer, and we loved the passed appetizers while the guests were arriving. They set up a beautiful buffet spread and used gorgeous bowls. Everything was fresh and delicous. They homemade the tortillas and served delicious guacomole, again homemade. The servers were ontime, self sufficant and cleaned up after themselves. They boxed up all of the leftovers for us which was really nice.The only negative I could find, and you just need to know, is that beyond the food/catering fee (minimum of $650 for 40 people) they charge a travel fee, a convenience fee to use a credit card, and a 18% service fee which is NOT gratuity. So ontop of the food, you will need to expect to pay about 40 % more on the charges (your own tip to the servers, their 18% service fee and travel fee and of course tax). They are transparent about it, but something you should know. With that being said, I would still use them again.“

“Food and Service 10 out of 10! This is our second event booked with Marcelo and crew. From the first call, he was the upmost professional, very attentive and responsive. Our event was held in Santa Ynez, Ca. Marcelo & crew arrived at 6:30 am to service food by 3 pm. From beginning to end, theses guys got their stuff down. Their set up is impressive, then they start preparing all meats, marinating everything on site, all high quality meats, sausage, ribs, chicken served with salad, bread, chimichurri sauce and empanadas (beef, chicken, spinach) and we opted for roasted veggies for 175 ppl. Our guest could not stop raving about how spectacular the food was. Being from Argentina, I can attest this is as authentic as it gets! They are legit. Throughout the day, Marcelo's attitude was so positive and there was nothing he did not answer with, "no problem, we got it covered ", this was so reassuring for a "control-freak like me" lol. I just knew I had nothing to worry about when it came to the food. At the end of the day, the breakdown was as impressive as the set up, as I watched them clean every utensil, cookware and grill back to new before loading things back in their trailer. “This is the cutest shop for buying natural wine, cheese, or any other cool girl cookware/homeware items, and I'm happy there's a spot like this on the Westside! I came around lunchtime to try one of their "secret lunch menu" sandwiches and ended up ordering the Hot Girl Salami baguette sandwiches for $12 (since their regular sandwiches were $19). The sandwich was good and was generously stuffed with meat, cheese, and greens, however I wish I ordered the Franch Girl sandwich as the combo of flavors in this sandwich were pretty one-note. I would definitely come back to buy gifts for friends that are into food and wine (and pretty packaging). They had a handful of cookbooks, olive oils, some preserves/sauces, and even beauty products and candles. Bonus points for stocking one of my favorite natty wines, LS Gris by Wavy Wines. “This review is for Maria's Italian Kitchen on Pico in West LA. The food is always good or excellent. If Robert is our server, the service is always good or impeccable. This review speaks to the bread service. Maria's used to provide their table bread free of charge, and you could order as many baskets as you wanted. Now the bread is $1 per order which doesn't bother me much, as the economy for restaurants is a bit tight now and they have to cover their spoilage costs if they automatically serve bread and it gets wasted. What does bother me is that the bread is quite often not ready when it's ordered. They often tell me that "the bread is now in the oven." This causes the bread to come with the food. The bread should be ready before the meal, not with the meal. What if I'm ordering a sandwich? Why would I want bread with a sandwich? Come on Maria's - think about that. Thank you for your consideration.“

“I needed a caterer to provide breakfast and lunch for 35 people for a 3 day workshop that was being held in our Northridge, CA office for quite a few of our executives and Sr. staff at HARMAN International. I am located in Stamford, CT and asked for recommendations from assistant's in Northridge who could not provide any local caterer's so my husband went on Yelp and found Mr. Ardi's and I'm so glad he did. In speaking with Jeff (owner) on the phone, he understood the requirements and needs of this audience. He came up with a menu that was very impressive for the 3 days and always answered the phone when I called. He came to the office the day before the event to get an idea of set up and was on time every morning and afternoon. His food and set us was amazing/pleasing and the executives were VERY happy with every meal! Flavor and love is put into every meal. Even his scrambled eggs are cooked to perfection!! His Mac & Cheese was soooo good as well as his mouth-watering brisket, just so much flavor. Lasagna and butternut squash ravioli is worth mentioning as well as his chicken and ribeye souvlaki was out of this world. His meals were so good that I had the assistant's in Northridge try his food including his delicious soups so that they would use him for future events. I wish he was here in the Stamford area because I would use him for all for our events!! Please do not hesitate to hire Jeff for your special occasion. l guarantee that you will not be disappointed!!
