“We discovered this gem by accident. Took the wrong exit after flying in from Chicago. We were hungry, so we just decided to find almost anything to eat. The cute outdoor patio got our attention. We ordered a burrito (al pastor), tacos (barbacoa), and 2 taco bowl (1 chicken, 1 veggie). Every dish was flavorful and tasted fresh. The serve was also top notch. If I am ever back in this area, I will definitely plan to stop by.“

“After visiting Hijo de su Madre several times for their award winning and phenomenal Yucetecan vegan greatness I was quite excited when I saw on their IG they were adding a vegan burger menu. It just launched a few days ago, but is already my favorite burger (got the Phat Hass Burger) in LA and I have had them all. Even more profoundly, they have the best loaded frots I’ve ever had by a landslide! Run don’t walk to try the new menu (will be on the delivery apps soon!) and then keep coming back because everything on the menu is perfection. 5 stars!!!“

All four were delicious and had its own distinctive style. They lived up to the “gooie” expectation and were really filling. I think two cookies were enough to get me good & the others were extra credit. Load up on napkins and the customer service was great.Just be aware the gas station didn’t have whole milk, just 2% but all the cookies were still phenomenal by themselves. “I knew it was going to be fire from the crumb of smoked fried chicken breading I had from my bf's plate. I had to take a moment to prepare myself. The fried chicken was so expertly seasoned and crispy. I got the 3 meat combo, pretty reasonably priced for the amount of meat I got. The sauce is awesome and the meat is juicy and tender. I had to take my nose ring off cause I was so serious about this BBQ. Cornbread is so soft and fluffy and tastes like something your grandma made. My second time here and I ordered 1lb of the carnitas mix and a menudo. I love carnitas and this spot won my heart it's not easy finding good carnitas so I am happy to say that this is my go to spot. I get the mix which comes with the carnitas, cueritos, and buche packed with so much flavor. Just one bite of these carnitas and it brings a smile to your face! This visit I tried the menudo and it is amazing so much meat and no maíz which I prefer. Leave the Maíz for the pozole lol. “I cannot speak highly enough about Kaycie and her team. We chose them them to cater our wedding and I do not have one single complaint. They were top notch from the beginning. It was a beach venue wedding. I told them my vision and they made it come to life. The decor at my venue was perfect, beachy driftwood and shells. All of the servers they provided were excellent. Bar tender, ice cream server, food service and the actual food. My guest are still raving about the appetizers. Our tables looked so beautiful even the side tables were decorated so cool. The created all the signage and set everything up for me including my "in memoriam" table. Honestly, all we had to do was show up. They did everything and it was gorgeous. The vegetable dishes were my favorites, they all tasted very fresh and bright. A few words of caution, finding parking in the area can be tricky. The space is a little dark and echoy, so guests with vision or hearing problems may struggle.“
“This will be the third time we have used Nana's Kitchen. So clearly, we love what they do. The food is fantastic, a step up from your normal taco caterer, and we loved the passed appetizers while the guests were arriving. They set up a beautiful buffet spread and used gorgeous bowls. Everything was fresh and delicous. They homemade the tortillas and served delicious guacomole, again homemade. The servers were ontime, self sufficant and cleaned up after themselves. They boxed up all of the leftovers for us which was really nice.The only negative I could find, and you just need to know, is that beyond the food/catering fee (minimum of $650 for 40 people) they charge a travel fee, a convenience fee to use a credit card, and a 18% service fee which is NOT gratuity. So ontop of the food, you will need to expect to pay about 40 % more on the charges (your own tip to the servers, their 18% service fee and travel fee and of course tax). They are transparent about it, but something you should know. With that being said, I would still use them again.“

Husband and I devoured our order (So I didn't get to take a photo). I ordered the paradise bowl I saw from DoorDash but replaced the passion fruit for mango + the coconut sorbet for the base. The young lady, Aisha, was truly helpful. Informed me about the possibilities for toppings! I loved the almond granola + coconut shavings. Got a medium to share! I understand wait time because other orders require them to craft rolls from scratch and it's not just scooping ice cream from a bucket onto a cone and calling it a day. It's a place where individual ingredients are crafted per order. I know customers can be impatient due to the fast paste places they frequent. I came around lunchtime to try one of their "secret lunch menu" sandwiches and ended up ordering the Hot Girl Salami baguette sandwiches for $12 (since their regular sandwiches were $19). The sandwich was good and was generously stuffed with meat, cheese, and greens, however I wish I ordered the Franch Girl sandwich as the combo of flavors in this sandwich were pretty one-note. I would definitely come back to buy gifts for friends that are into food and wine (and pretty packaging). They had a handful of cookbooks, olive oils, some preserves/sauces, and even beauty products and candles. Bonus points for stocking one of my favorite natty wines, LS Gris by Wavy Wines. It's a very aesthetically pleasing and well curated space, and I'd love to return!“
