“Downtown Long Beach has a farmers market every Friday and this is one of the tents i never miss stopping by. I've had a fair share of tamales throughout the years and I have to say, these are by far one of my favorites! Let's say, ones where i don't get a massive heartburn or overly guilty yet hits the spot is good enough for me. Best part is their delicious salsa!! Im a whimp for spicy stuff which i know, i know.... im probably not the best to make an opinion for anything spicy but i will definitely try ans tough it out to taste test their flavors. Haven't tried the spicy salsa yet but their mild one is one of the best. Weird to say, i like them so much i can almost drink it. My favourite flavors of tamales so far are their chicken and chilli/cheese!! Their beef aren't bad and has more of a kick if you like a little spice. Their chicken and cheese ones aren't spicy for the whimpy spice eaters like me. Ive also tried their sweet corn one and this I have to say lacked a little bit. Customer service is awesome! Their is usually and older man there and sometimes he has subs but they are all very nice, quick workers! Compared to other tents, this one gets a line. So that tells you something. “This placed is praised for their quality tamales. The best in the whole of the San Fernando valley. Freshly made tamales daily packed with meat and flavors. They take orders over the phone and sell uncooked frozen ones for those that want to steam cook them fresh at home like my family did with 2 dozen tamales on Christmas. Been a customer for more than 8 years.“
“I don't know why I haven't left a review for this place... Been coming here for years... I love this place. Though I'm certainly not an expert on Salvie food, I really enjoy the pupusas here. They run a special in the week which certain pupusas are over dollar. I find the customer service always friendly despite my Spanish speaking skills to be lacking... (Shout out to Google translate!)“
“I have been a face painter at Mr. Bones pumpkin patch throughout the month of October, and almost every day I’ve been there, I got lunch from the Maravilla truck. They are incredible!! Everything I tried was delicious, and the seasoned fries were a personal favorite. They are all so friendly too. Face painting at the patch is definitely a high pressure job, especially when it’s busy, and Maravilla really helped to keep my spirits (and energy) up the whole time! Thank you Maravilla for everything!!“
