“My favorite stop in Placer County! This winery is just right with a mix of being: family owned with a personal touch that make you feel like a part of the family there! It is also the perfect place to take friends and family members because there is so much open seating, where you could look out on the winery as the train goes past or sit in some adirondack chairs playing cards. Additionally, if you are into wine but have not found your spot yet, I recommend doing the Placer County Wine Trail in the area!“

“Tasty authentic Oaxacan food served in a casual spot. The tlayudas are great, the chicken mole is spot on, and the Oaxacan quesadilla brings me right back to the zócalo! When you don't have the time or funds to travel to Oaxaca, hit up Mezcalito!!“

“I've been a customer of this place in the past and ALWAYS LOVE the yogurt here but I never knew the story behind it. I happened to be the first person who walked in this shop today. One of the owners was there and he was running a little behind..... No big deal. I was the only one there and wasn't in a rush. Well he still had to count the register and handed me a bunch of little cups to sample the flavors. He apologized several times which I told him not to. After counting the register quickly he was just full of energy, happy as can be and was proud of his shop (Well I think its more of his wife's shop because he just raves about how hard working she is). As a matter of fact he told me how his wife custom makes each flavor and not only does she creates these to die for yogurts, she strives to perfect them and revamps some of the flavors by adding other ingredients!! I was really impressed and AMAZED at her determination of perfecting each flavor! After tasting each one I was in a bind in choosing just one flavor. All of them were DEVINE! They even had pineapple sorbet which is SOOOOO ON POINT with the one they sell in Honolulu and Disneyland!! Its such a fun cheerful spot and they even have a corner set up for photo ops! The owner was just awesome and full of personality. He really made my day by just being himself, being super kind, and enthusiastic about coming to work. Now that's hands down the crem de la crem of customer service. And to top it off, he told me that the yogurt was on him!! I was in awe. I truly didn't expect it and even told him that I wanted to pay for it. He didn't take my money but made me an everlasting loyal customer! Thank you again for your generosity!! “Such a nice chill spot to stop and have coffee and a delicious bagel. The bagles here are more like sandwiches than bagels which is fine because again they're amazingly soft and cooked to perfection. Regardless of which bagel you go for you're guaranteed to be happy with the result and quite likely go back for seconds and then sit and chill for a while because it really is a very nice spot to sit and relax on a cool autumn morning.“

“Perfect food and great service. We had a lot of fun. I couldn't believe that such a delicious restaurant existed in a place like this. This was my first time going to this restaurant, so the food I ordered with the help of the staff was perfect, and although it was early, it was busy with about 20 customers. The food was delicious and had the taste my wife was looking for and she being Peruvian knows very well the meaning of that. If you took a date to one, they'd be impressed. What sets Platinum Wine Lounge apart from the rest of the wine bars, is their individuality and the intelligence of the wine list. This modern wine lounge is a great happy hour date spot. They offer a range of wines from well-known California and international wineries. Happy hour is Tuesday-Friday 3 to 6 pm. “We love this place. It's never overly busy where you can't get a spot (but there's always people in there!) They have a good selection of wine for us non beer drinkers and my husband always has a great selection of beer to choose from. The staff is very friendly and I love that you can bring food from outside places in. It's always really clean too! Great local spot.“

“Granite Bay Brewing is a nice little brewery in Granite Bay. They have about 15 brews on tap with a little bit of everything. They do not have a kitchen, but they do get a few truck for their patrons to buy food from. I have experienced this on the weekends with a variety of different vendors. Mexican, grilled cheese and bbq. The ambiance is chill, and it is really cute at night with their lights hanging above. The staff is always friendly and their establishment is clean. It is nice to have a brewery right in Granite bay. If you have a day on the trails, you should definitely stop by and check them out!“

“Our first visit, as we were in the area for a memorial service (yeah, not the most jovial of occasions).As a bit of a coffee snob, we initially stopped by a suggested joint that is now a wholesale bean distributor - NOT a retail joint. The owner chatted with me, and after hearing what I was looking or, he suggested Bru as it's one of the retail coffee stores he sells beans to.Service was warm and friendly, barista politely answered all our questions and made some suggestions. My wife enjoyed her drink, and my double espresso had all the bright notes I enjoy in an African varietal. Great little joint, and I also appreciate their social mission. Next time we are up in the area (and hopefully for a lighter occasion), we'll definitely make this our coffee joint in town.“

“I ordered the 1/2 sandwich/soup combo (Pastrami sandwich/Clam Chowder), and altho there wasn't a lot of meat on the sandwich, especially compared to the size of the roll, it was very tasty. For a cream soup, the Clam Chowder was a little watery, but again, the taste was there. This was my second time there and I'll keep coming back to try different soups/sandwiches because the food is good. My friend ordered the Chicken Salad which was on a Dutch Crunch roll and she loved it. I noticed her filing was more in proportion to the size of the roll. “We were so delighted to have Messy's taco truck come to our employee appreciation event. Booking was easy. Communication was great throughout. Jamey worked with me to implement a system where our employees had a ticket to get a taco plate paid for by our company, but if others in the industrial wanted tacos, they were welcome to purchase on their own.They are top notch, and will definitely do whatever it takes to make your event a success. Everyone raved about the tacos! They are sooooo good! I had the ones with pineapple. Two tacos fill me up, but I sooooo wish I could have eaten more! “This was my first time having Firehouse Pizza. I had the Hawaiian Extreme & Firehouse. I have to say, I was very impressed and the pizza was delicious. It's hard for me to rate a pizza 5 stars but this place definitely deserved it. The ingredient were fresh, the dough was perfectly cooked and I had 6 slices! I usually only eat 4, but couldn't help myself.I also wanted to compliment the homemade ranch and the warm cookie was fire! The service was great and they welcomed us with a friendly smile. The ambiance was nice and you can see them making the pizzas. It was open and you can tell they keep everything very clean.“

“Cute little rustic spot in old town Rocklin. I had my baby shower here and it was just perfect. Staff was amazing! We were able to bring our own decorations, but the venue also provided tables and chairs which was a big help. The nice touch of lights throughout the room gave it a little something extra. My guests were able to try and purchase some of the wines they sell here and had nothing but good things to say about them. “Rappe Family Vineyards - Auburn We were on our way to another winery and passed the entrance to Rappe Family Vineyards. We decided to turn around and enter the vineyard after looking at the excellent ratings. We were not disappointed. We came to learn that the winery is fairly new to the area. Clearly it is nice addition to the Auburn area. Their tasting room is set up in a large tent during the winter months and outside next to the vineyard during the summer. The hosts were excellent. For such a young winery they offered excellent wines. It should not be surprising since the founder Tom Rappe has spent his career in the wine industry. Each individual tasting is free with the purchase of a bottle of wine. We had the same nice experience in Napa 25 years ago. We loved our tasting. Absolutely worth a visit.“

“Hands down the best coffee shop. From the employees to the coffee. We have been coming here almost every day for over 5 years and it never disappoints. I love their white mochas and they have a variety of pastries. We love the bakers cookies and apple turnovers. Kids love the vanilla steamers and hibiscus teas. Great atmosphere here as well, we always run into friends.Parking: If you drive around, you will most likely get a spot from someone leaving, or there is a parking lot available by the old fire station.“

“This is my favorite winery on the Placer Valley Wine Trail!! I went with a friend and we had the whole place to ourselves! We sat under the trees in Adirondack chairs overlooking the entire winery. It was simply perfect for a tasting! I really enjoyed the wine too and I appreciate learning about the different ways of how they age the wine, which greatly affects the flavor!“

“We were looking for a new place to try and Ciotti came up when searching wineries. We drove up and there is plenty of parking. We were greeted right away and told about their wine tasting. We tasted all of the wines on their list and since it was a bit warm we decided on a white wine and we had brought some snacks so headed outside.There is a large outdoor seating area and the day we were there we were treated to some good ole rock n roll. The staff and the owner are very nice and the people there were so friendly. You can bring your dog as many people had their pets with them. They also offer slushies and a small amount of food. The slushies were very tasty. This is one of our new favorite hangouts. Our dog enjoyed meeting other dogs and people. There is also a winery dog.“

“We had a volleyball group of 32 people. We set up a reservation ahead of time and they had our tables ready. Our group was served in a timely and super friendly matter. Our checks were split by family and were all accurate. The restaurant was packed but it did not impact the service. Food was delicious and service was great. Will definitely come back to this location.“
