“My husband and I love this hidden gem in Playa Vista. We always get the falafel gyros with GF pitas. They are very good portions, filled with deliciousness, and topped with amazing sauces. We come here on a semi-regular basis and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan options“

“Its a beautiful cosy place, takes you back in time. The cakes, as you can see in the video look delicious (didn't try one though).We had the lemon pancakes which were AMAZING, also the breakfast burrito which was really delicious as well and very filling. Their coffees were also flavourful and strong.Lastly, salmon with potato pancakes..which I personally didn't really like.. they had a funny taste.. quite soggy.. something about the salmon? Or the eggs? I didn't understand but unfortunately has a weird and not good taste.“

“Easy, breezy, beautiful cover girl! The Superba staff are always so accommodating and make fantastic cocktails. The space is beautiful with an open kitchen and a great indoor and outdoor space. You can eat the full menu at the bar too, can't go wrong. Plenty of metered parking around, but you should Uber because you can't have just one of these“

“Came back to Ocean Park Blvd to try this place and it did not disappoint! We ended up getting the Gravlax Works (on everything bagel) and an Onion bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, to compare to Layla Bagels next door. Overall really delicious - the gravlax works was perfect and light, the salmon was amazing - perfect flavors! I definitely prefer this one a bit more. And for the other bagel, the jalapeño cream cheese was a nice touch ,though when comparing to the basic bagel we got from Layla's, the schmear was a little less flavored. The line moved quickly and the workers were all nice! Can't wait to come back to try the pastries and also grab a loaf or two to go!! :) *Note that Jyan Isaac Bread and Layla Bagels seem pretty strict on their outdoor seating, reserving the seats in front of their restaurants for customers only. The manager here came out a handful of times to ask Layla customers to leave!“

“They lived up to the hype both the pork belly and the wontons tasted absolutely good. I can highly recommend it. Qmd we did not hear any names being called during for those on the wait list. Thought the wait time can be long. Bring ansun umbrella for sunny days. Their locals are rather small for the high demand.“

“I visited holy grail donuts today. And I'm telling you that it was great experience to enjoy good donuts. You can see how your donut is made and who makes your donuts in the store. It was so fresh and I've been never experienced this before. The vibe was cozy and comforting. Also staffs were super friendly. Strongly recommend. I wish donut shop like Holey Grail Donuts exists in my country too ;( Maybe little bit expensive but worth to try. You won't regret it.“

“Ayo! Stumbled upon this cool lil cookie shop in SM. It did not disappoint and I will be coming back FoSho. I like how the cookies are smaller than the Big Cookie trend that's going on so that can taste more of their creative flavors. Also lower pricing point per cookie as well. My Fav is $100k Cookie. That thing was amazing, i was only supposed to take a bite cause i had 3 other flavors to try but Nope couldn't do it, i ate the whole thing. It had a chewy caramel center with gooey milk chocolate and crispy rice crispy's on the outside. Street parking available, they accepted cards and staff was very helpful. Come check this place out y'all!“

“Been stopping by Tommy & Atticus since they opened in July. The country, round sour dough is our family favorite. We've tried morning sun citrus pastry (my fav), jalapeno/cheddar sour dough bread, lunch pizza & sandwiches. Great place, great customer service.“

“Same great bread (and food) but not the same service as Washington. Staff here seemed a little miserable, slow, forgot basic things to the table such as napkins and plates. Offered to warm up the cinnamon roll, which they did, but barely.Cinnamon roll is massive and delicious, as is the frosting. Baked eggs also very good. Very small dining room with just about four tables, so not a lot of sitting area. So again, great for the food just not for the service.Kid-friendliness: kid friendly but small venue“

“Ummm wow just amazing across the board. We were able to sample quite a bit. One of the outstanding treats was the grilled brussel sprouts. The margarita pizza was classic, but tasted a cut above, I think it's their sauce. The Caesar salad is big, and boy I ate all of mine. It had a perfect balance. Try the deep fried porta Bella mushrooms with their creamy dipping sauce, you might pass out it's so good.Next time I need a desert from their French tarts and macaroons in the glass case.“

“Excellent food! Service is usually very good, but our last visit was extremely rushed. It made for an unpleasant experience. If they want guests to leave by 10 they should not except reservations after 8:30 PM. People should not be forced to eat fast at high prices.“

“Everything was on point: great coffee, classic Danish pastries and an amazing Princess Cake that was customized in minutes for our Easter gathering. The staff were gracious and so helpful. Our new goal is to try all the cakes, seems like a tasty and worthy project for 2024. You can order online too or by phone to have your cake ready for pickup.“

“I’m a super cheap so hate paying high prices and at $5/cookie, it’s a bit high. BUUUTTTT ITS WORTH It!- small and nicely decorated storefront. There’s meter parking in the front.- as you walk by, and then in, you can smell alll the goodness in the air- we got the brown butter chocolate chip, Mayan and mango sticky rice. We got the jumbo cinnamon roll, only available on Saturdays, which was good, but not mind-blowing. The cookies on the other hand, have lots of depth of flavor and hints of everything they say is in the cookie.Usually there’s one dominant flavor but everything is well balanced. Also, whenever there’s a fruit flavor, a lot of time at other place, it tastes like artificial flavoring but everything tastes real here. I could taste the mango bits in here, and I’ve previously had the strawberry passion fruit and ube matcha through friends, and all real flavors there too.Would recommend! Wish they had a stamp card or loyalty program though, cuz I’d rack that ish uppppppp!“

“I must have died and gone to doughnut heaven. The donut texture is fluffy with a pleasant slight chew, and not oily or too sweet for the most part. Most were priced $4-5 each but I find it worth it for the quality of the ingredients.Our favorites are the misugaru (roasted soybean) because it's mild and nutty and has a chewy filled mochi inside. The black sesame is also intensely nutty with a chewy mochi inside too. My wife loves the sweet potato cream the most because it has fresh sweet potato puree along with milk cream, and it's the Korean/Japanese sweet potato that's delightfully sweet and nutty.Tiramisu had plenty of rich cocoa powder accompanying the tangy cream (probably cream cheese mixed in it?). The bitterness of the cocoa was the best together with the cream.The strawberry milk cream had a small amount of strawberry pieces but the cream was so milky rich yet light at the same time. The blueberry one is the exact same except with a few blueberries so I slightly prefer the strawberry one.Matcha creme brulee had strongly flavored matcha cream but I'm not too much of a fan of the sugar crust top. I might still try the regular creme brulee next time to compare the regular custard.Our least favorite was the apple cinnamon because the icing was too sweet but the presentation was beautiful with the pieces of apple inside.We saw quite a line build up after us at 10am so I'd come early since they open at 9am until they sell out! The parking lot is nice and big so it wasn't any trouble finding parking. The mall also has other interesting stalls like a kimbap and udon one if you need some savory to offset the sweet.“

“My go-to spot for simple french sandwiches. NEVER DISAPPOINTS! Ive had all of their meat sandwiches and their omelette sandwich. Always so good and fresh. love the crunch of the baguette with their rich butter or their gooey soft omelette. the omelette sandwich is my favorite, because i'm just an egg enjoyer and would prefer breakfast meals over lunch or dinner. I will KEEP on going back here! Also their ice pink praline latte, is a MUST TRY. not overly sweet with a nice floral scent to pair with its creaminess. this place is really a hidden gem in the neighborhood.“

“This is a cozy, local neighborhood hangout and a great place to meet up to grab a bite and a latte. My favorite is the egg in the hole avocado toast. So satisfying and delicious. The service is always friendly. Some days takes longer than others to get your food so if in a rush, try ordering ahead. Also, parking is notoriously bad in this court so I recommend parking in the VA lot and walking over.“

“I absolutely loved Junior’s cookies. They are the best cookies ever and every time I am in LA it’s a must that we stopped there. “This place used to be the biz. I cannot deny that their food is jammin' but their service and overall attitude have a lot be desired. This was the spot after the world reopened and the outdoor seating made everyone feel a little more COVID safe. I think they started feeling themselves a little too much. After my wife and I had our first couple visits there, it was great. However, subsequent visits went from awful to the absolute worst. They failed to recognize our reservations a couple of times and when they got it wrong, they made us rush to order. I would get their food again but suggest getting it delivered to spare their nonsensical restaurant/business practices. If you want the pulpo, get it there and not for delivery. And for some reason, when you get the saltado delivered, you don't get the egg. I'm assuming it's due to possible foodbourne illness issues. Five stars for food, one star for service/attitude.“

“I got the veggie panini and an iced matcha w/ oat milk; both were very good. My brother ordered a french toast that he vacuumed down in 5 seconds and my dad ordered an omelette that he could not get enough of. Everything was just so fresh and healthy. “Everything I ever had from Vienna Pastry is beyond delicious. The staff is wonderful. My favorite cookie in the entire world is made by this fabulous bakery. They have a mouth-watering selection of fresh donuts, including an impressive assortment of cronut inspired donuts.Their little shop is in a small strip mall in Santa Monica. I had no trouble finding parking right outfront. The shop has a colorful, pink-focused theme. They had an outstanding selection of donuts on display in their glass cases as well as a nice, large menu board offering up all kinds of snacks, drinks, and sandwiches.The four donuts I sampled on my visit to DK's were fantastic. It was honestly a very hard decision. I had to limit myself to four because when I buy donuts, I have very little self control and know I am going to eat them all the same day. Besides, donuts are always best when they are fresh.The strawberry nutella cronut style donut was amazing. Lots of rich, hazelnut spread flavor mixed with strawberry. The plain glazed donut was top notch. I always try to get a plain glaze and use it as a baseline. A great plain glaze donut is always a treat for me. The cinnamon sugar cronut and the peanut butter cup donut were also great.I know there are other "DK" donut places out there. This one is a real treat and I think it is the OG one. If you are in Santa Monica or are passing by, make sure you stop by and support a great local business!“

“Omggggg.... What crispy and delicious croissants they have! Made me think I was in Paris for a second.. also got a baguette which took my sandwiches to the next level! “The Menemen eggs were really good. My only wish to make them better would be to have it made with 2 eggs instead of one. The smashed eggs on toast was also delicious. “I work in the nearby bank so often walk to Sasoun for lunch or brunch if on an early shift. The bakery is piled high with delicious Armenian food that smells and tastes fantastic. The potato borek is my favorite order but all of the veggie food I have tried is very good. They always look after me so well.“

Never been much for the celestial donuts but they certainly make for a pretty display. Their breakfast sandwiches are definitely not the star but a good addition. The staff is great, too. “These cookies are worth the stop when in La area. We had seen many vlogs and mentions on IG about these Amazing cookies!! We had bought more than a few and the ones we tried were really good and tasty. Brown Butter and the Apple Tartine with fresh Apple were good. I had also tried the Birthday confetti cookie. They said the Cloud 9 had nuts as well as the Mexican wedding cookie, but everything was good. The workers here are pretty informative and very nice. There is also vegan options as well. I will be stopping by again when I'm in the area.“

“Marsha was incredible. We were looking for someone who could provide all the dessert for our wedding, bring us something other than a traditional wedding cake experience, and also bring some extra flair to our big day. Marsha did all that and more. Our cake table was decorated so beautifully! She made the most delicious cupcakes of all different flavors for our guests to enjoy. She even made an ADORABLE cake topper for us that everyone raved about. In addition, Marsha made us a gorgeous, delicious, moist 3 layer cake , and she even was able to bring a ROLLED ICE cart too! People could not get over how cool it was to have rolled ice cream at our wedding, especially because Marsha had extra cupcakes to put in with the ice cream. She was so collaborative, easy to work with, and fun. Everything we asked her to do, she accommodate, often gently giving her sage advice along the way. We could not possibly recommend Marsha any higher than we do. She is absolutely incredible and soooo many people raved about their experience with her at our wedding. 10/10 for everything!!“

I believe it's the locals who live close by that walk here that frequent Figaro. We were lucky enough to find parking on a Tuesday morning most recently. We ordered pasta, a hot chocolate and a coffee. My favorite time of day to eat here is evening. The inside of the bistro is gorgeous, and makes me feel like I'm in Paris. It's old and full of charm. The service is great, and we receive our orders fairly fast. Definitely check this place out, but Uber if you can.“
