Doughnut

“It was my first time there I wanted a little breakfast before I got my hair done. I ordered a bagel and 2 glazed doughnuts because they didn't have a big selection of donuts at that time. But I did get 2. The bagel was really good toasted, with light cream cheese. The lady, most likely the owner, was really pleasant and nice, and she gave me a Little-good luck charm. With my purchase. Whenever I'm in that area of Lawndale, I will be going there.“

“Mitra !!!!Idk if I spelled her name right. But anyway, I was on my way to the fwy to head out to Palm Springs and I searched up “bakery” right quick on Google Maps. And this spot had multiple reviews about ppl raving about their “tres leches” cake. That’s a cake that’s really easy to miss. Super hard to get right. And regardless, if it sucks, I’m still coming back because of their customer service. Mitra was everywhere !!! Connie was working on sumn in the back but swore she was too busy to help write the name on the cake. I don’t like how she said “hang on, I gotta wash my hands” yet never showed up. I’d like to see Connie wholeheartedly help every person indiv like Mitra did. Well some other sweet lady gladly hopped in and helped her as soon as the sandwiches she was fixing up were done. She also hopped in and charged a couple, While Mitra was helping me and 3 others all at the same time. You want to feel cared about ? Attended thoroughly ? Hopefully u show up on a day where Mitra’s clocked in. She gave me owner vibes. She just cares ! Also grabbed me my jalapeño bolillo for me. Can u say she had a heart to serve ? She blew me awayy. She also asked a guy if he needed tongs or a tray for his bread, all while attending me !!!! Sheshhh. NOBODY goes unnoticed w Mitra and her other sweet coworker. Thanks ladies !!“

“Loved it! Brought home a bunch of pastries - pain suisse, pain au chocolat, croissant, almond croissant, and chocolate chip cookie. All were delicious. Also got a half tomato on everything and it was awesome - well seasoned and excellent tomatoes and basil. Small space, and hard parking, but worth it! Next time I will buy a loaf for sure.“

“AMAZING cookies! They were not kidding when they said they stand behind their craft. I've been on a cookie streak recently and have tried many different shops in the area with over 4.5+ in ratings. Most often than not, I left feeling disappointed. Cookies would either be stale, too hard, too brittle, too sweet, or pretty good but not worth $5-6. This is one cookie shop worth talking about. They carried all the exotic flavors, with the right texture and sweetness. I look forward to trying other flavors next time I visit. 1. Guava Cheese (9.5/10) - I love guava, and I love cheese but unfortunately for me, I can't do goat anything. Though there's only a hint of goat cheese, it's still there and you can taste it, if you are sensitive like me. Otherwise, it would've been a 10/10. Amazing texture and flavor. You will love this if goat cheese is your jam. 2. Matcha Strawberry Yuzu Mochi (9/10) - it's ALL there! A melange of different flavors that blend quite beautifully. Mochi is a little gritty (don't expect Japanese mochi texture here), but the cookie itself was so good and that touch of yuzu was exceptional. 3. Mango Sticky Rice (8.5/10) - Again, another unique flavor mix that was really nice. Sticky rice on top tends to get a little hard over time, but if you're a mango fan, this would be a flavor for you. They did not skimp on the ingredients and there's enough dried mango chunks for you to enjoy with every bite!“
