“Very nice all around food is delicious i tried shrimp and fish tacos i gotta say shrimp was better for me but my bias is shrimp over fish yet the fish taco was also very good. I also had a tostada mixta which is great and recreshing only thing id like is just a tiny bit more lemon flavor in their mix but other than that it was great. Good size portions and a decent price“

“Great food for a great price! The only bad parts is the staff seems like they have attitudes or stressed because its busy at times. Lines get pretty long and it has limited indoor seating. Plenty of outdoor seating. Bathroom is old and could use some updating and seems dirty. But if your looking for a old hole in the wall type place with great food this is your place. We were told this place has been here since the 70's. I am not downing this place at all it just is what it is. My family and I love this place and visit at least once a week and we live 40 minutes away so it's worth the drive. Our favorites are the ground beef tacos.

Parking: Its a small parking lot and can get packed durring busy times but we have always found a spot.“

Quick lunch with one of my coworkers, had the Asada Quesadilla and a Coke. They have a salsa bar and decent seating area. You order up front and they bring the food to you in the seating area. It was okay. I wasn't super impressed. I'd try this place again for some tacos next time. I don't want to bash them because I should have ordered tacos but I wasn't feeling it today. It is what is. I'll be back.“

“I been Here 3 times and the 3rd time was awful. I ordered the same thing I had the other 2 times. Taqutios but I asked AGAIN if I can miss match. The girl that was taking my order had a BAD attitude. Which was shocking because other 2times the woman who took my order was great! But this time it was a youngester. And not only that I heard a lady in the bk ground complainant mocking me because I asked for chicken and beef. That night I spent 66 bucks for Taqutios, asada fries and prok chille fries and tacos . And I almost didn't pay . The young girl had a bad attitude and as she was Handing me my drinks and food like as if she wanted to let it go. In all I probably won't go there again. Food is good but who wants to give their hard working money to a place like that.“

“I have not explored the menu much because every time I go there, I get the Adelita Stake.
But when they ask for the type of tortilla that you want, I would recommend corn since it's handmade and super fresh.
The place is nice and clean, plenty of parking during weekdays.

Friendly staff, with solidly built kitchen, a little noisy since theirs no sound insulation between the kitchen and indoor seating area. Having said that, during nicer weather, the outdoor seating looks picturesque. Not my local, but I'd frequent regularly if at all possible.“

“This has become my go-to, pick-up, Mexican Restaurant. The food is good and the portions are more then generous. Normally, I get two items at other Mexican restaurants. Not at Sosa's. “I had been hearing about Hungry Bear Tacos and how good they are for a while so I finally decided to stop by and give them a try. These tacos are hands down delicious. At $2 each for a Taco with homemade tortillas, and meat that's grilled over charcoal with some guacamole on top is a killer deal. These tacos were juicy with lots of flavors. I had chicken, asada and pastor. My favorite was the asada. The pastor was also good but I felt it could have used a little bit of the marinade. I will be back soon to try all the other meats.“

“We had a great experience! We went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and to watch the World Series Baseball game. The waitress was very attentive to my allergy and was very good in bringing items that we requested to the table in the timely manner. This is definitely a family-friendly environment. “Mitla Cafe has been on our list for a very long time. Over the years we have seen celebrity chefs eat here, and review it. We have done Route 66 and never have hit the restaurant when we could stop and eat, so on the way back from Joshua Tree National Park and a little bit of a detour, we made time to have lunch. The restaurant has been open in this location since the 1930's and is a gem in San Bernardino.\n\nWe were seated right away, our server came over immediately and brought water, chips and salsa. The first basket of chips is complimentary, but you will pay $2.99 for a second basket, which I don't have a problem with.\n\nWe both decided on our dishes. I went with a shredded beef taco, and Mr. B had the two enchilada plate with a shredded beef taco. The taco shell was crispy, filled with tender shredded beef, fresh crispy lettuce and lots of cheese. Sounds basic I know, but it really had an authentic taste to the dish. I did snag a couple of bites of one of the cheese enchiladas filling Mr. B's plate and they were amazing. \nHe loved his plate, again the taco was filled to the brim, the two cheese enchiladas were filled with perfectly melted cheese and a unique and flavorful red sauce. They were not the flat enchiladas many Mexican restaurants serve, these were full of cheese and so good. The plate did not have rice and beans, which was great too. The plate was filling enough.\n\nWe found street parking which was nice. The food was excellent, service great, and you feel the history within the walls and the photos that fill the walls. If we find ourselves in San Bernardino we will definitely eat here again.\n\nNote, that I didn't notice any vegan options, vegetarian options with the cheese enchiladas which are filling. Also, the menu states no substitutions and they mean it. So don't go in expecting to order a plate of food and change it, you can't. I believe others have complained about this, but we didn't have a problem with it. Sometimes you need to eat the food how it is prepared.“

They have really good Tortas. Now that they are a restaurant they serve some Mariscos... tried the Mojarra... the Mojarras are good... had their hard shell tacos for the first time (can't believe I went so long without them) they are authentic mexican hard shell tacos they use crema and cotija cheese...“

When I finished my meal there was about a tablespoon of oil leftover on my plate, definitely didn’t need it, the flavour was great without. “There menudo is amazingly delicious. It brought me back to the menudo my grandfather would have every Sunday for us from the Original and 1 st Amapola in South Central LA. “The only place I get asada burritos now. Literally. Not figuratively. I literally stopped ordering them anywhere else. The carne asada itself is bomb, very flavorful. They pit onion and cilantro in, which makes it perfect in my opinion. They also put beans in and I've heard nothing but good reviews, but I prefer without just because. They have really good salsa amd that plus a squeeze of lime will literally make these things the best asada burrito you have ever had. Not to mention they cranked put 10 burritos in only 20 minutes one time for a large order for me. Not the cheapest, like 12 bucks a pop, but like 2 pounds of the best burrito in southern california. Next time I'll get a picture. If I can slow down long enough to get my phone.

“After enjoying the nostalgic memories of Happy Meal toys throughout the years in the McDonald’s Museum, we stopped by Chapala for lunch. Restaurant was no frills and clean. The cashier was very friendly and attentive. We ordered 2 of Pastor, Lengua and Cabeza tacos. They gave us 2 Tacos Perron on the house, instead of the 20% off since we completed paying already before we remembered to show the offer. That was super nice of them!

The corn tortillas were very fresh and flavorful. They are a bit thicker so are quite filling since each taco has two of them. The Pastor was well marinated and juicy. The Lengua and Cabeza were very tender and flavorful. The taco perron had carne asada, guacamole, beans and mozzarella cheese. The carne asada was perfectly grilled. Loved the addition of the guacamole and grilled mozzarella cheese but the beans were a bit too much and made the taco soggy. They also provided three different salsas. Our favorite was the spicy avocado based green salsa. It was super creamy and had a strong spicy kick.

Will definitely be back when we visit San Bernardino again!

“Been here a couple times before this and the staff is already really nice. The prices are fantastic and the food is great. Feel like thay actually care about the restaurant.

I forgot to take a picture till after I mixed everything around but there is a bunch of cheese, guac, sour cream and some lettuce. And it's actually chilled lettuce too so it's really refreshing. The taquitos stayed crunchy for a hella long time but they where still the perfect crispness , not hard tho ! BOMB!
