“Edit: Great food again as usual!Original Post: I love this place and come here regularly. But today was dissapointed that my french onion soup had barely any onion, with an overly salty broth. Will update this review next time I come when the food is (hopefully) as good as it is normally“
“I stopped Dawn as I was exploring downtown. I happened by Dawn Cafe ± Market realizing that Dawn was having a Elite Yelp Event! I stopped in to get a Coffee drink and a bites. I decided on Alex's special Latte and a Ham and cheese pastry. Alex and Michelle were doing a great job of taking care of my needs as well as the other customers! The setting is quite pleasant. The space serves as the entrance to the drift hotel along with dusk the hotel bar. A very unique setup. I spoke with the hotel manager. The entire operation is online and keyless. And they are quite busy. I had a Great experience and it was Fun! Ronnie S“
“This is the place. Honestly I refuse to get coffee (especially espresso drinks) almost anywhere else now because Handlebar has spoiled me on quality. I'm a coffee snob now, in the best way. I like this location the most; everyone is really friendly, the vibes are great. Love!“
“Loved it here, quaint beachside Cafe. Stopped here on our way to Paso Robles, because Katie Perry said they had the best margaritas. They are very good. We started with the fried Calamari and some clam chowder and then had fish and delicious shrimp tacos.“
“All dishes we ordered were very good (salad, white bean soup special, duck ravioli, veal scallopini, and pasta carbonara). Panna cotta dessert was outstanding. A few minor improvement suggestions - 1) the carbonara and scallopini were not served fully warm enough 2) Carbonara was a bit too salty.“
“Wonderful first experience. Pastries looked beautiful and tasted amazing. I had a kouign-amann that was buttery, sweet, and beautifully layered. I also had a beignet that was perfectly and evenly filled with a light passionfruit cream. The reception from the staff was so kind and welcoming. They must've realized it was my first time there because they gifted me a baguette to take home too!! Great customer service and attention to detail. Will be back very soon!“
“This is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants in Santa Barbara. Renauds is a patisserie in the old style with American breakfast options, translated. So the American breakfast comes with properly poached eggs and Brioche toast, the quiche crust is proper butter crust, and the baked goods are consistently excellent. 2/3 of seating is outdoors, but web based ordering lowers line levels even at peak hours.Kid-friendliness: Small tables and somewhat close seating makes child maintenance a bit difficult when Harry's is open. Early morning, that space is kid friendly.“
“Traditional American-style breakfast in the courthouse area of Santa Barbara. The portions had a great size and the service was good, always serving coffee for the customers. The food was ok and overall a little expensive compared to other places in town.“
“Came here for brunch while in town for a wedding, and everything was delightful. We chose to share the hangover and the salmon Benedict and while both were delicious, the same, and Benedict was the unanimous winner. Our server Riley was so friendly and attentive. We will be back!“
“Reliably healthy, but overpriced. $20 for a simple ham and cheese sandwich with fruit, a pickle, 3 cookies?UPDATE 2024: Still no table service. $17 for oatmeal with berries & latte. Cheapest I could find! Couldn't afford the burrito.“
“Had coffee and pastries with a friend and it was a really nice coffee break. Ordinarily I'd go to the location on the Mesa but the downtown location has a lot going for it. Close to Kanaloa seafood, Kyle's Kitchen and Paseo Nuevo. You can get a nice coffee in the morning before work, or in the afternoon after lunch or shopping. Lots of seating inside and out and they are dog friendly. You gotta love that.Parking: First come first served parking, with a time limit so you'll usually find a spot. Full disclosure I'm usually parking a motorcycle... But there's plenty of space for cars. There is only one entrance and it's on the Chapala Street side.“
“Honor pizza!!Walking around found the welcomes sign to discover this little market, that has a very nice selection of pizzas, wine, gifts, books, incredible coffee.Much gratitude, to all of the people that made the experience so memorable.“
“Underrated and less crowded than the Arbor. Apparently they used to have amazing grilled cheese, but I haven't seen them selling grilled cheese since covid. They have some pretty good lunch options. They close earlier than expected, so make sure they're open if you're planning to stop by in the afternoon.“
“A gem. We discovered it due to staying at the BW next door (which is also lovely). Good people and good food. Has its own charm; check out the finches and the patio room. We enjoyed every thing we ate here over four days. Check it out. Plenty of non-dairy choices.“
“Great place. You will not be disappointed. I ordered the Americano coffee, which was delicious, and the Protein Fritatta for food. It was very good. I would have included a stronger cheese, like a feta, or even integrated a peppering ramono into the egg mixture for flavor. But it was delicious nonetheless. I had to add salt to it, and I'd rather let the flavors of the food come out without added table salt. The hot sauce was Chilula instead of a house made. It was good, though; it was one of my favorites. The service is excellent. I gave them 4 stars for the bottled hot sauce. It's not hard to make your own, especially in a high end town like Santa Barbara. I would expect it. However, the prices are extremely good.“
“BEST breakfast and lunch in SB!! Great location, excellent service and truly amazing food. We go there every time we are in SB and it is a regular thing for my family. Everything on the breakfast menu is crave worthy and good, strong coffee. My dad swears the French dip is the best sandwich in town. It is well worth your time if you are hungry for excellent food at a great price. Mulligans should be on the top of your must try list.“
“Had breakfast here twice during our five-night stay. Food was delicious! Highly recommend the french toast!! Our server, Alex, was delightful. She was very pleasant, friendly, and made the absolute best latte -- better than most baristas in most coffee shops!“
“This was one of the best meals my husband and I have shared together. We celebrated an early Valentine's Day dinner on 2/13. The staff was fantastic; friendly and helpful and genuinely seemed happy to be there. The food was classic Italian with large portions and plenty to share. We ordered the Gnocchi Tricolore, Bruschetta della Casa, and Bolognese Spaghetti. Tiramisu for dessert, of course. It was great. We will be back 100%! Thank you to everyone who made our night special.“
“Great French style offerings. Duck fat potatoes in a salad offering to some items that can be vegan if you skip the cheese. Only 50cent up charge for non dairy milk better than many. Known for their chocolate chip cookies You can buy cookie dough in three flavors ready to bake in a six pack Tucked in the cute montecito mart across from Vons. Easy parking. Cute outdoor seating I want to give it a five but they need more plant based vegan offerings. Love to meet friends at places that can accommodate us all“
“Stopped here for a quick bite before we continued on the way to cemetery The breakfast croissant for me, and fried breakfast sandwich, for my husband, were good. First time here. We've been to Harry's next door and thought we were going to eat there but found out Harry's didn't open until 11am. We were an hour too early. But decided to go into Renaud's. We will be back.“
“I love this quaint little spot. They have a great selection of cakes and cupcakes with gluten-free options. My favorite is their vegan gf earth cake. It's the bomb ? and their banana chocolate chip cake, too. I yet have to try their breakfast items, but I'm sure it's going to be delicious.“
“A new year day 1, so we started off at a place we hadn't been to before. Cafe Lido is located poolside at Mar Monte Hotel on the Santa Barbara waterfront, within walking distance of the Santa Barbara Zoo, and this time of year has a wonderful sunset view until they close at 5. Even better, the friendly bar serves great Cosmopolitans. There are tables poolside as well as at the bar and indoors. We enjoyed our cocktails poolside along with a perfect grilled cheese on thick sourdough, homemade thick tomato soup, and French fries. A great start to the new year!“
“This is THE best coffee shop in Santa Barbara! I always enjoy comingin and admiring the beautiful space and decorations with yummy drinks of snacks. Iris is a wonderful barista and always treats me so kindly when I come in, as well as the rest of the staff. Love it here!“
