“Though BBQ items were served a bit cold, they were quite good. The well-cooked Tri-Tip was so tender as if they'd melt in my mouth. They know how to do BBQ but the food needs to be served warmer. I also liked the corn bread. Small eatery. Simple setting. Self-service. Cheap utensils. For the price they charge and the sake of cutting meats, they should have invested better cutleries. They also run food truck around the area.“
“I've been a regular at Su's for about 30 years. Still one of my favorites I've always given it 5 stars, but alas, all things must change. Still great food. But price has gotten too high. And shrimp/lamb and fried rice are no longer offered. Atmosphere is less fun, with lots of cheesy signs with price and serving limitation and all-you-can-eat warnings. To make matters worse, I came with a group of 8. They tacked in an 18% service charge! If you've ever been to Su's you know there is, basically, no service. The only thing they do is put water glasses on the table. This is the downfall of one of the great, classic eateries. Sad.“
“I ate the pork set (jeongjeongsal + pork belly + seasoned pork neck)! It said it was for 2-3 people, but it was enough to feed 4 people. I was impressed because it felt like I ate it in Korea... and the price isn't that expensive.ㅡIt was so delicious that I went again the next day, and this time they also grilled kimchi next to the pork belly... It was really good.“
“Happened upon the restaurant when we were on the hunt for good Korean BBQ. The atmosphere is understated, but food and service was amazing. Truly! The beef was so tender and the banchan was A+. There were 3 very kind employees (owners?) who were so attentive and made it a very enjoyable experience.“
“I have been here several times. It is Korean BBQ and regular traditional food. I like the steamed eggs, fried rice and the rice cake.Nice side dishes ,and delicious beef smll intestine .If you are finding a place to gather with your friend or family,it is a good place!Btw, Korean aunties were really nice, they always came to check us if we needed something and helped us grill the meat:)“
“I think Chungdam is one of the best Korean restaurants in the Bay Area. Understandably its price reflects that ranking.I think its decor is the best. It feels very much like a high priced Korean restaurant. In terms of food, I think only 10 Butchers has better Korean food. But it has more variety, especially vegetarian dishes.Service is good. The BBQ meat is all grilled for you as one would expect when you're paying prices like $85 for kalbi.“
“Delicious food! The best Karen restaurant I highly recommend! I like their side dishes, and they are very tasty! And you can ask for more without additional fees. The waitress kept forgetting our requests for more side dishes, but overall the services are good here. I ordered Bibimbap but it’s cold! You need to order the one with the stone bowl if you prefer hot foods.“
“Amazing authentic cantonese food. Originally called "Cooking Papa". Not sure how to describe the experience. I have been here multiple times. It is Hong Kong style home style cooking with so much more. We ordered 8 different dishes (eggplant w/fish, sauteed peas sprout, spicy pork, roasted pork belly, stir fry (including lotus root, black fungus, chinese sausage, celery, snow peas, mushrooms) spicy deep fried fish, congee w/fish, egg and sprimp over chow fun and singapore style curried noodles. I still do not know which dish was my favourite. 100% recommend.“
“One of the best kbbq spots in the Bay Area. Love the pork belly and pork jowl. All the meat are of great quality. Choose the rice balls! Service is great and friendly. Parking may be an issue as it has a small lot with several other stores.“
“The food was a bit of a mixed bag! Their fried food is lovely; crispy and well seasoned, it’s freshly fried and piping hot when it hits the table. My friend got the tri-tip sandwich and greatly enjoyed it, my partner and I got a half rack of ribs with Mac and cheese and baked beans. The Mac and cheese was decent but a bit grainy, and the baked beans were mostly nice but very heavy on the cumin, and the ribs had a nice smokey flavor but you had to work a bit to get the meat off the bones. The staff was friendly and attentive, the ambiance was laid back and their tap options were excellent.“
“The food was amazing! We ordered the chicken katsu and the BBQ mix. Everything was so flavorful and very generous portions. The macaroni salad was hands down one of the best I've had. If they have it, try out the pinapple cream soda.“
“Ordered ribs and some brisket. Ribs were fall off the bone, brisket was pretty fatty but otherwise tasty. I also tried the corn salad, which was a nice complement to the meats - cool and with a little acid to break up the rich and savory BBQ. The corn bread muffin was also delicious.“
“Best Korean BBQ Experience In Nor-Cal. The staff here was down to earth and really friendly. The waiters are also cooking your meats for you while you sit back and watch while having a lovely drink. Huge fan of the corn with cheese. Ambiance was upbeat and fun for groups!“
“Kind staff, great food!Ssamjang and ssam(vegies) come as a default whereas you have to ask for them at some other korean bbq restaurants. It’s a bit pricey but the meat was tasty! Hansung galbi was very tender and delicious but ssaeng-galbi was a bit chewy.Cheese tteokbokki has a healthy taste(?) , no strong MSG style. And the cheese was sooo good!Staffs are so friendly but the pace of grilling was so fast that I had to eat in a rush somehow.Overall I ll def recommend Hansung BBQ to my friends!“
“Cioppino, LA Galbi & Seafood pancake are amazing! We enjoy the food and service from the owner every time.We appreciate the busy yet smiling owner. We can tell the restaurant is short-staffed, but the food quality still doesn’t disappoint us.“
“We visited Beque Korean Grill in Korea Town, Santa Clara. It's an all-you-can-eat BBQ place we really enjoy. The food was alright. The meat quality was good, and it came with the usual Korean side dishes, all at a reasonable price. The atmosphere was very traditional.“
“First time visiting this place after seeing it on yelp. Looking for a great skewer place that was authentic (thinking of China). As we approached the entrance we were greeted by an amazing smell of grilled food. Everyone seemed very excited and the wait was long due to many hungry customers. The staff was very friendly and the food even before eating, I know it is fantastic just from the smell and looks.“
