“The only problem with Breakfast by Salt's Cure is finding a place to sit in the bare utilitarian space as it is often packed to overflowing. The reason, of course, is the food. Their griddle cakes are a unique pancake experience and supper good. I am partial to the blueberry, but the trick is to order with two other people and split all three varieties. The only pancakes that compare for taste and texture are top flight lemon ricotta pancakes. Their breakfast sausage is also very tasty as are the hash brown cakes, although I prefer traditional hash browns as a rule. The large slice of "breakfast ham" is also an excellent choice. Bottom line great food but probably best ordered to go and enjoyed at home. Then, you get the best of both worlds.“
“I was in Santa Monica yesterday morning in line to eat at another restaurant. It was already lunch time. But I wanted breakfast food. I asked the people in line if that restaurant served French Toast for breakfast. A very nice young woman with a cute dog said "go to John O'Groats" if you want a traditional French Toast Breakfast. I followed her advice and drove out to John O'Groats. I am so glad that I did. This place is a tradition diner with a lot of charm. The French Toast was great. As was the coffee. The service was good. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to this location with friends. This is a great place to have lunch or dinner. Before I drove out there, I called. I got an outgoing voice message. I left a message in which I said that I had wished that someone had answered the phone. I just wanted to know if they are still serving breakfast. When I arrived, the proprietor said to me "You called didn't you?" I answered in the affirmative. He responded "We have breakfast all day every day!" I wish I had taken down the name and contact information of the woman who recommended John O'Groats. I would have enjoyed sharing my experience with her.“

“We went to Uncle Bill’s House for breakfast, and the food was lip-smacking good. We were completely satisfied with our meals. There's outdoor and indoor seating. Uncle Bill’s is a trendy spot, so be prepared to wait. It's usually a short wait. When we first went, we ordered the house specialty, Uncle Bill’s French Toast; it was delish. This time, we explored the menu. I ordered some banana nut pancakes. They exceeded my expectations, and they tasted scrumptious. The scrambled eggs and hash browns were good, too. The coffee was on par with most pancake houses. We love the cozy family home feeling inside and the beach-chic atmosphere outdoors. There is limited prepaid meter parking adjacent to Uncle Bill’s. There is also public parking within walking distance. The cost of food is very reasonable and a great value. The service is excellent. One of the local regulars told me the next time we visit, ask for the natural molasses syrup that is kept behind the counter.“

“This is IHOP so you know what you should be ordering. The pancakes were good as I expected them to be. I got the combo which was 2 pancakes 2 eggs and 2 pieces of bacon. Everything was good but I feel it's hard to mess those things up. The service was great and our server was very polite and attentive. “While staying in LA the other night we decided to eat here based on a local recommendation. The pancakes are beyond HUGE and the French Toast (original) was very tasty. Also the coffee was served in a French Press at the table and was fresh. We also ordered eggs and sausage as a side. The restaurant didn't have many when we walked in at 8:30 on a Thursday, but quickly filled up by 9. The atmosphere is cool, hip diner style and music was a bit loud but good, definitely woke us up in a good way! Service was friendly and it was great to find this place.“

“First time to Sweetsalt! I came to the reopening mainly because Frank Bonventre, former head pastry chef for Wolfgang Puck, the Oscars, and Joan's on Third, is now the new pastry chef!! I was excited...Mr. Bonventre is a legend in Los Angeles and Sweetsalt had become a go to place for breakfast (they serve it with a salad side!!!) and lunch. Gorgeous place...who knew the this old building in Toluca had such great bone!!!??!! “Courtyard is a nicely located Cafe for people finding themselves in and around the LAX area during the early part of the day and wanting an affordable food fix. I believe the tiny cafe is an independent family-owned shop. Staff are friendly and helpful. You'll find quality tasty breakfast items and beverages here, with most stuff priced less -- or not much more -- than a $10-er. Burritos and quesadillas are especially popular. Orange juice is fresh squeezed, and their famous juice called the Vampiro, red from beets, is a delectable blend of some of my favourite fruits and vegetables. You can ask for it with a dash of spicy refreshing ginger blended in. It might be a little challenging to pinpoint locate, since Courtyard is not readily visible from Sepulveda. It's in the rear courtyard of a building. I think it's well worth seeking out for reasonably priced, satisfying breakfast fare near the airport 'hood.“

I opted for 3 eggs over easy, hash browns, toast, sausage and a cup of coffee. The hash browns stole the show but everything on the plate was solid. “Today we had a party of 9 people and we went for bunch. Our server was excellent and was always there when we needed him. Ernesto remembered all of our names and called us bro, it was a very good environment and i've never had a sever that remember all the names. I ended up getting Breakfast Sampler and it was very good, I would ask for the bacon crispy. The pancakes were amazing as well as the eggs but the hash browns were a bit overcooked. During the time we were here the wonka specials were in the store and my brother got the drink. He thought it was amazing because it had sprinkles and cotton candy which are two things he loves. I think the food here is adequate. The sever was the best and the food was okay!“

My brother ordered a french toast that he vacuumed down in 5 seconds and my dad ordered an omelette that he could not get enough of. Everything was just so fresh and healthy.
