“The atmosphere or ambiance is excellent. It's a small community restaurant with excellent food. The only reason for the 4 is it was a bit cold inside.Vegetarian options: Almost all menu it's have a vegan and or vegetarian option.Parking: Street parking“
“Fantastic experience! Such friendly and attentive staff from host to servers to chefs. Sat at the chef’s counter and had the best time watching and interacting with the chefs. The food was absolutely delicious as were the cocktails. My only regrets were that I got the most popular items on the menu (fried chicken/collards - despite being delicious) and didn’t venture into some of their more unique dishes, like the wood grilled fish (chosen daily) with yassa sauce or the sweet potato dumplings, and that I didn’t have a chance to try the wine bar first because they had a private party. I had a bite of the off menu bread pudding which was ridiculous and also found their sauces a must try (esp the homemade apple bbq and spicy herb sauce). I couldn’t recommend Alta Adams more and can’t wait to come backDietary restrictions: Looked like great vegan gumbo“
“This place has some very delicious ? and ?. Their customer service is great!!! You don't even have to wait that long for your order. The only thing about going here in this area?? is when you pull up in the parking lot there is always about 2-3 young men that are standing out in the parking lot. Which make it alittle uncomfortable to go there.Parking: Their is always like 2-3 young.men just standing around in the parking area. Which is very uncomfortable.“
“I have driven past this place no less than a million times. I have been wanting to try it for the longest and I am so mad at myself for waiting this long. My family ordered it for dinner last night. We each ordered something different. My son got barbecue chicken and mac and cheese. The barbecue chicken was drenched in sauce and it was perfection. It was so tender and delicious. He ate every single bite.My husband got the fried chicken dinner in sweet and hot sauce. It wasn't as spicy as he would have liked but he still devoured it.I got the shrimp and grits. It was filled with sausage which with spicy and had a nice little kick. There were shrimp throughout and it was so good. I literally ate every single bite. I never heard my family so quiet while eating. Everybody was so happy with their meal and ate every single bite. I don't think that's ever happened where we didn't have any leftovers.Looooove!!!“
“So freaking good! I wanted to support a small business after hitting the dispensary and Beulah's blew me out of the water delicious! They even carry Kelis's brand bounty and full lovely vibes on the inside go don't think just go delish“
“First time trying Annie's out. Found her from a video on YouTube that a guy posted. Bunch of guys sitting around eating what looked like the most amazing food. I paused the video to see what the sticker said and immediately Google this place.Well she did not disappoint and its safe to safe to say I AM NEVER COOKING FOR THE HOLIDAYS AGAIN! My family could not stop talking about the dinner.I had been craving oxtails and hers are BOMB. Not only was it delicious and as if my own 93 year old grandmother made it but it was packaged perfectly. The greens were seasoned to perfection and the short ribs you could cut with a spoon. We will now be trying out everything lol. Thanks Annie for coming through for my family!“
“There is something on the menu for everyone!Vegetarian options: The salmon croquettes are delicious!Dietary restrictions: You can order your food the way you need it to be.Parking: This is an outdoor shopping center with ample parking.Kid-friendliness: There is no kids menu, but the menu is so vast get an extra plate and fees them off of yours for the younger ones!Wheelchair accessibility: You can navigate a wheelchair here.“
“This place is perfect. Friendly service, absolutely delicious everything. Machaca and beef was so good, plantains were PERFECTION, juice was fresh and the coffee is such a good classic strong flavorful cup it's like... bewildering. So happy this place is a staple of my neighborhood and so close by. Always an eclectic group of diners present and now I get why!“
“short review: "AMAZING!!!!" long review: "What time is it right now as you are reading this? Is it between the hours of: Fri 9:00 pm - 2:00 am or Sat 9:00 pm - 2:00 am or Sun 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm? Are you perusing yelp indecisively? About to give up and go get fast-food, drive-thru again? Hook yourself up and go here instead... (Seriously though, when I was driving home from picking up my take-out I drove by a Carl's Jr. with a line of cars waiting and I thought to myself, "These people are really missing out on No Reservation right now." This is coming from someone who likes Carl's Jr. too!) I've had the crab soup, crab legs, coconut rice, asparagus, mac and cheese, bread pudding, corn on the cob, and everything was exceptional. I think the crab soup w/ coconut rice and the bread pudding can't be beat though. If you're just going to try one or two things make it one of those. Also I have to say I can't wait to try the rest of the menu too! I'll be back every weekend. (I've been here twice, both times during quarantine and I've had no problems. The place is super clean, it's easy to park on the street, there aren't a lot of people out so you can just zip in and be back home and eating real quick.) At first I was being selfish and not wanting to post about this place, keep it to myself, but then I thought maybe so many people will come to this place and they will be a huge success, expand and be open everyday and have multiple locations and we can eat No Reservation anytime! Best of luck!“
“Wow the chicken is so delicious from here . I had the spicy friend chicken sandwich. So fresh and crispy. Nice balance of spicyness and crunch. Bella has excellent customer service , she sold me on the spicy chicken sandwich and fries. It was small on the inside but clean and comfortable. I will come back also because they are open late .“
“Generally I have a good experience. I like to get the 6 (or 8?) piece tender meal and have it for dinner and then reheat the leftovers. The fries have good seasoning, the biscuit a good consistency (don't know if it's right to say doughy but I like it with honey) and the blueberry shake is tasty. This time I got a side of cornbread and holy cow - it was the worst cornbread I've ever had. I don't know if an ingredient was forgotten but it was dry, bland and just gross. Really disappointed cause I love good cornbread haha.“
“This review is long and overdue!I have to say one of the best riz collé and griot I had in a very long time. The food was really good and outstanding! It reminds me a lot of my home The food was very delicious mon chai! Best Haitian Creole food in LA! I'm the big drop!!“
“I finally got a chance to try this taco truck out. I have been seeing it all on instagram so I wanted to support this black owned business and also know if it lived up to the hype? Yes! First the service is great everyone was friendly and helpful. Also I didn't wait long. I want to say at the max I waited 6 or 7 minutes for my order to be ready. I ordered the LAtryguy special $27 + $1 for card. Which comes with 2 enchilada parm tacos (I got 1 steak and 1 chicken no olives or cilantro) and parm Doritos tacos (1 ground turkey and 1 chicken no onions or tomatoes) and a large kool-Aid fruit punch All of them were good but my favorite is the chicken and I did like the enchilada tacos the best. Very flavorful. My only con was the price. I felt like damn near $30 for 4 tacos is a bit much. To where I couldn't see my self coming here often to spend that on a regular. The food and service was really good and the kool-aid was the best I've ever had. But the prices will make me pause in returning.“
“Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles is a place you must visit to cross off your bucket list at least once to see what the hype is ALl about. If you're visiting for the first time, I would recommend trying "Scoe's" 1/4 chicken or the "Herb's" 1/2 chicken entrée. It all really depends on how hungry you are. They are essentially the same, except the Scoe's is smaller, while the Herb's has more chicken. They both come with 2 waffles. You have the choice of white meat or dark meat chicken.Pictured is the Scoe's special, mac and cheese, and Biscuits and gravy.I recommend eating the chicken with Louisiana hot sauce, dipping your chicken in syrup, and eating the chicken together with the waffle. Their waffles are amazing. They are made with Roscoe's own private mix.You can also try their chicken with some of Roscoe's own personal hot sauce bottles. They make different ones than the go-to Louisiana hot sauce. You can buy some of their hot sauce bottles and a T-shirt to take home at their locations. I've been to two different locations, the Hollywood and South Central Manchester locations.Neither of them disappoint.I used to frequent Roscoe's regularly about 10 years back when i was in town for shows or visiting the old Amoeba location. This place hasn't changed much. Still bomb!Wait times may vary.Parking is either super easy or somewhat difficult to find. Depending on the time you are showing up, it can get very busy. There are paid parking meeters on Gower Street. Depending on the day and time, the meeters are free. You should be able to find parking around the area. A short walk to a delicious meal never hurts. Also, the "obama special" was pretty popular.I added 3 pictures taken with my film camera. Enjoy the HollyHood location!Parking: Street parking is free at certain times and days. Please read signs to acknowledge if you're able to park for free“
“My wife and I came by here for a family get together and had a blast. The food was absolutely delicious. We love sides and had the Mac & cheese, collard greens and my favorite, the black eyed peas and rice aka The Rolling Johns. The owners really make the place special, and we were fortunate enough to have a quick conversation with one of the owners Chef. You can feel the love in the food and the building. Hands down the best soul food I’ve had in Los Angeles.“
