“Update: 2024. Been back since my “ missing avocado toast” incident. Almond butter croissant is excellent and told to WAIT for the toast when paying and receiving my bakery items. They have seating for small parties of 1-4……..The service is friendly but they’re all trying to help each other with larger orders and no one verifying completeness but of course they charged full order with $8 avocado toast missing. And yet, I’ll be back because those damn chocolate almond croissants are ridiculously good.“

“I was in the area for work and a coworker actually recommended this place to me! It seems to be one of those trusty college delis that suddenly appeared one day and permanently becomes student lore. Inside, I found a quant mini-market stocked with a bunch of snacks, drinks, and the counter for ordering. The worker (i forgot his name!) helped us immediately, and I ordered the pastrami. I sat outside, where there were plenty of tables with shade! The worker brought out the sandwich to us, and I thought it was huge! The price seemed a bit high for ne, but that wasn't too big of a concern since the sandwich was jam packed with meat and kraut. The flavor wasn't too salty for me, and had the right amount of flavor with the bread. This was a great spot, and I'll have to stop by again.“

“I’ve been here a few times now and I’m always impressed. They treat their food and drinks with love and it really shows. Happy to say that I am now a regular!Since they’re so hidden and rather new, sometimes their business seems a little slow. Don’t let that discourage you from trying it! To the owners: maybe consider gaining some visibility to passing cars? A large sign that faces the street would be nice, I imagine a bit expensive… perhaps that electric sign could be moved to the outer window?“

“My bff brought home 2 vegan pan dulces from here, they were tasty , but not mind blowing. Props & blessings to Them though for making vegan items . I had a pumpkin empanada & concha type pan: too dry imo. I'll recommend cuz they're vegan, but I won't purchase or travel here. Can't opine on the price or parking or staff as I didn't visit the site.“

“Cordova Cafe & Bottleshop isn't called Cheers, but it certainly could be - the "neighborhood hangout" vibe here is amazing! The food is great and there are excellent choices in beer and wine, but what sets this place apart are the people. You could look long and hard without finding a more welcoming establishment!“

“Came to try this out with my 3 kids and it was incredible. The grilled cheese was on point, and my kids devoured it. I asked for a recommendation for a not so sweet ice i coffee and the barista told me to try a caramel ice coffee. REALLY good! Also got some chocolate cake for desert. I'll be back to try every item on the menu lol. Also, I found a new life hack (if I'm late, I'm sorry). Bringing toddlers to the mall before the stores open is not only free, but the toddlers can explore all the shops without causing a ruckus!“

“Dining experience was for the most part very good. However, two items stood out for improvement: The table water was warm and had the taste typical of city processing. Chill and provide lemon at customers discretion. The carafe for the Coffee allowed the grounds to wind up in the cup. Please fix“

“I stopped by randomly at night, and it was empty. The decor was nice and vibrant. With lots of anime stuff, which is awesome to me as an Otaku. I ordered the mango passion fruit lemonade. It was made quickly and to perfection. The level of sweetness to tartness was spot on. The lady asked me to taste it before I left to ensure I liked my drink. I told her it was perfect. This particular location has had many tea owners inhabit it, but hopefully, this place is around for a long while. I wanna try lots of other delicious drinks!“

“Republik Coffee is as solid as it gets. It has good food, good coffee, and a good ambiance, which makes it a great hang out spot. The breakfast burrito, an almond danish, and a hazelnut cappuccino. It's not a large breakfast burrito, but I felt like all off the ingredients were good quality. The danish was good, and the cappuccino was solid as well.“

“I was in the same plaza and I was craving boba, so I decided to try this place out. The decoration is really cute and matches the aesthetics of their drinks. I came on a Sunday afternoon and it was not busy at all. The cashier was friendly and answer all the questions I had about the drinks and the sweetness levels. I got the Blinking Passion Fruit Planet 50% with grass jelly. This was the perfect sweetness for me as the drink also came with popping boba. The total for one drink came out to be over $8, which I don't think it was worth it for a basic passion fruit green tea. My experience here was overall good, but not a go-to. They are open late which is a plus.“

“Cool neighborhood coffee spot with chill vibes, a little shop that sells some cool stuff beyond just coffee brewing tools and coffee beans, and some (limited) comfortable seating inside. There is also outside seating which is especially great during nice days. The espresso I got was wonderful, and it’s always appreciated when they’re served with a shot of cold sparkling water.Vegetarian options: I didn’t see anything that wasn’t non-vegetarian. ??“

“Hands down a great experience! At first I thought it was a bit pricey for brunch but unlike many places, it is well WORTH IT.We got the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and the Popping Yolk burger, and were highly impressed. The portions were large which included the best roasted potatoes and regular garden salad. My boyfriend visiting from Ireland said those were the best potatoes he’s had since visiting lolEverything was seasoned well and the burger was cooked just right. The staff were friendly and helpful, you order before you sit down.I went purposely on a rainy day and there was plenty of seating around 1:00pm in the afternoon. The menu selection was great, will definitely want to try one of the Benedict’s on my next visit. Will definitely come back again!“

“The famous franchising local coffee shop. Many people gather in the morning while the lane is sometimes long and the seats may face the shortage of the seats. The coffee is generally good as I tried the vanilla Bean Flavored Latte. There is somehow a secret menu of the affogato named as the Summer's Macchiato! The espresso with the vanilla ice-cream scroop! That's great in taste and cheap in price. Plenty of parking here and have the curbside pickup option if using the App. Might try for the good items next time.“

“Stopped in for a quick bite before an event in Pasadena and had a great breakfast sandwich and vanilla latte. The location is a very casual but trendy look. You order at the counter and the service is friendly and fast. The quality of the food is great and prices aren't high because of that. Wasn't a fan of the radish on the sandwich but besides that it had an awesome combination of flavors that created this simple classic!“

“Omg ever since Costco stopped selling churros, I've been desperately looking for my replacement. Wished it was cheaper cuz this is 3x more pricier than Costco's. But I cant lie, it was cooked pretty well! Outside was a nice crunch & the inside dough was perfectly soft. The cinnamon sugar coating was well done & I was intrigued by their other flavors such as honey nut or oreo. You can also add-on $1 extra for dip and it comes in a to-go sauce container. Took about 5-10 minutes to get after I ordered on a kiosk & the store has multiple seats to wait for your dessert. Wished they had actual tables though for customers to enjoy their food, but we just ended up eating outside on a bench.“

“This review is for the ranchero breakfast burrito. See full review on Instagram or TikTok @best.breakfast.burrito We rate each burrito based off 4 different criteria: taste, price, modifications and napkin rating. Taste: we got the rancheros burrito, which came with scrambled eggs, potatoes, white beans, ranchero sauce, avocado, & queso fresco. Burrito was tasty, but was lacking that wow factor. The white beans and queso fresco gave it a nice touch as you don't see that commonly. All the ingredients blended together and were hard to tell them apart. The salsa wasn't that messy. There was chucks of tomatoes, and onions which might have been put in there by mistake nice it wasn't part of the ingredients. Price: $13.77 Rancheros Burrito Modifications: they have some vegan options with soy chorizo Napkin rating: 5/5 very messy and started dropping as soon as the burrito was unwrapped. Lot of napkins if going to eat in the car Overall: not bad, could have been an off day and willing to give it another chance.“

“04.10.24 My second time at LA County Arboretum and it's just absolutely beautiful place to visit. The Peacock Cafe is a perfect place to take a break. I had the burger and fries lunch - so yummy! I think this cafe is a great addition to the arboretum because of the very good quality and taste of food. Good enough on the number of selection to choose from. The staff are welcoming and provide pretty good service.I'm not sure if the two peacocks that graze the cafe know that they are considered to be permanent live entertainment for cafe goers. They sure make the cafe a pretty good place to hang out and they do put on pretty good show.LA County Arboretum is a must visit - I suggest calling first to find out best time of year to visit. It's mating season for peacocks so you'll see a pretty good show with males doing their best to attract the female peacocks. There is a tram to tour the arboretum. I highly recommend paying for the tram to see the whole place first as there's pretty good information about the park.“

“The guy was super nice and helpful. He explained the menu to me explained how the drinks work asked if I wanted a tea, shake l, a smoothie, a bowl, they have so many options! He explained the healthy benefits of the different options they had available to choose from. They even have protein waffles and donuts, and then of course they have yummy shakes to choose from as well. I chose a raspberry aloe tea, cold. It was very refreshing. It's going to be a hit when it gets hotter for sure. The restaurant itself is a pretty good size. They have several small tables with chairs. They have a couch. They have a cute sign. You can take pictures under. It's pretty spacious in there. Nobody is standing right next to each other. Everyone has plenty of room. I will be back next week for a waffle Thursday!“

“Mmmmnn best boba I have tried here in LA. I love the Hokkaido milk tea flavor. So unique of a flavor and was so delicious. I asked for 30-50% sugar. We tried to go up the drive through without a car and they said we would have to get our car. There was also no seating. Besides that, the name is what it represents: it's an express boba grab-and-go. Yum! Prices were so good too!“
“Crossroads is a nice little cafe with a great variety of sandwiches. My friends and I ordered sandwiches to-go and they were so yummy! I had the spicy chicken sandwich and loved it. It was a good spice level for me but may be a little bit spicy for some. Everyone else really enjoyed their sandwiches as well. Overall, it was a great meal and I will definitely be coming back to try more things in the future.“

“I had heard about this place from friends, so I decided to head down and check it out. I got caught in traffic so when I got there, the sign in the door said closed. However, one of the owners saw me staring forlornly at his window and opened the door to wave me in. I walked out with a huge bag of goodies. Everything I took home was fantastic! I'm now a regular customer. I definitely recommend Gio's for their food and for the friendly way they treat their customers!“

“I got the breakfast burrito, with chorizo instead of bacon, and it was SO delicious. The portion was ample, and it looked as good as it tasted. There was a enough food to split with a friend and have a lighter breakfast.I love a good breakfast burrito, and this is my favorite one as of today. Worth every penny of the $14 I paid. This is my first time here, and I don’t understand the negative comments some people gave. The service was polite and quick. The nice lady who took my order ever cracked a joke which made me smile. Maybe we get back the energy we are putting out?Vegetarian options: This is such an odd question. I eat meat. And every vegetarian I know has wildly different versions of the veg-diet from each other. Most of them have rather confusing exceptions in their definitions! Like the supposedly strict vegan couple I know, who on Christmas Eve ordered a seafood pasta, and a whole branzino (that’s delivered with fish head and scales still on it when presented at the table). If you can read an online menu, you can decide from home if it’s veg enough for you. Right?!“
