“I stopped at Bloom Carneros for lunch while my guests were out wine tasting, and it turned out to be a great find. I ordered the baby back ribs and overall the meal was very good. The kung pao sauce leaned a bit on the familiar side flavor-wise, but still paired nicely with the dish. The fries were extra crispy, which if that is your thing (and it definitely is mine), you will love them.
The staff was warm and friendly, and the whole spot has an interesting, almost hidden feel. It is the kind of place you might only know about if you are local or if someone told you to exit off Sonoma Highway. The outdoor area has a relaxed picnic-style vibe that really makes it stand out.
I look forward to stopping here again in the future and trying more of their menu.“
“Kiv is a total find. The front looks a little rough when you pull up…then you step through and it opens into this unexpected backyard oasis. Big shade umbrellas, fire pits, quiet corners — the kind of spot you settle into for hours.
The wines are fantastic and very reasonably priced. Father’s Watch (pictured) might be one of the best blends anywhere — balanced, silky, and way better than its price point suggests. They’re also working with some rare and hard-to-find varietals, which makes each flight feel different than the usual Sonoma lineup.
The chicken and ricotta bites? Absolute knockout. One of those dishes you order “just to try” and immediately wish you’d doubled.
Service is relaxed but sharp, the atmosphere is great, and there’s a wonderful restaurant next door. Location is solid, but you could easily drive past the humble storefront — don’t.
A+ winery. Total gem.“

“Just picked up dinner. Today, 4/22/25, pork picadillo stuffed poblano chili's, street corn salad with cotija tomatoes, romaine & creamy cilantro dressing.
OUTSTANDING! Delicious poblano chili flavor, quite mild.
I'll keep an eye out for when it comes around again!“

“A nice addition to culinary options in the town of Sonoma. Steaks are a little pricey ($46-$60) but steak everywhere is getting pricey. The filets were cooked to perfection. Mushrooms in the cream of mushroom soup were pureed. Texture was silky smooth and good flavor. If you are looking for chuncks of mushroom for texture, you will be disappointed. Overall the soup was delicious. And to close out the meal, the cheesecake was devine. Not a heavy NY style but a fluffy creamy style. The drizzle of carmel sause was a wonderful complement. I recommend you try Sonoma Valley Farmhouse.“

“You get a chill vibe and good food here; a big plus is that most items are gluten free, something thar should be highlighted more prominently! Word to the wise: we ordered the Cesar salad with chicken, which said it is made with “local lettuces.” On the day we went, the lettuce was radicchio. Ugh, a whole salad with radicchio, not your typical Cesar. The chicken on it was perfectly cooked, the dressing not really a Cesar dressing, but unique and decent. But if you’re expecting endive or little gems with your Cesar, as most Cesar salads are made with, you’d be wise to ask what the “local lettuces” are, as the radicchio was an odd choice and fairly tough. Thankfully, the BLT with a gluten free bun was sublime and worth a trip back!“

“Santee restaurant at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn is a special place. Everything we ate during 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner were exceptional. Crab Benedict and Cottage-lemon pancake were finger-licking good. Service is outstanding. We mention Ana, Bryce and Brian but others who served us were also wonderful. One thing to remember: they are very busy on weekends. Reservations are always a good idea but it is essential on weekends.“

“We had dinner here for my parents’ anniversary, and from start to finish, it was wonderful. Joe, our server, was attentive and even added a few thoughtful surprises to help us celebrate. The food was amazing, the flavors truly danced in my mouth. It was a quiet Sunday evening, but that didn’t impact the level of service we received. Highly recommend!“

“Dinner at Enclos was phenomenal. The progression from small bites (the gougeres 🤤), to seafood (clam chowder chawanmushi!!), to savory (dehydrated carrot with the beef 💕), to desserts (tiny honey ice cream cones) was amazing. Service was great. Space is nice, especially the garden lounge.“
