“So our family has a friendly competition to locate the best fish tacos anywhere. And I am a chili relleno snob so we stopped here on my daughter-in-law's suggestion and unfortunately she wins or maybe fortunately? The fish tacos were better than anything I've ever had and the chili Anna was above average so I can strongly recommend this place for the food. We had to wait about 10 minutes at the register even though they were open at 11:00 which bothers me a little bit because if you're going to open the front door you should be ready to go. But other than that the food came out promptly and was beyond amazing”

“I went to El Dorado for my birthday dinner with my friends We did wine tasting at WALT only 1 min walking distance from El Dorado and we really liked this course. Wine tasting and dinner at nice restaurant was such a good choice! Inside of the restaurant is very spacious and cozy. Only one thing, the grilled salmon which we ordered along with risotto didn't come out at the first time, the our server realized and brought to our table later. Except that, the food was very tasty and we really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. I'm the person who especially love the Sonoma vibe and the restaurant definitely made me feel I'm in the nice and cozy town.”

“This is the place that locals go for an antidote to the plaza. Not that there's anything wrong with the plaza. It is a great place to attract tourists and make money. Here, you get a nice beer and are surrounded by kind friendly people. Bingo on Wednesdays is an endearing pastime that I think is also for charity.”

The Pinot Noir wines at Walt were simply incredible! My faves Gap's Crown, Bob's Ranch, Sierra Mar, Rose' from Pinot Noir, and Rita's Crown. The tasting room was spacious and the atmosphere was wonderful. Terry showed us a short film with aerial views of the vineyards producing the grapes of each wine we tasted. Awesome, just awesome! “I was visiting a friend in California when she took me to this coffee shop. It's a very small tiny little Hut that has a billion people working in it. But they operate at extremely fast pace and all appear to be very pleasant and willing to assist. You take the drive through to order and then pull up to a window for pickup. There's not much parking but it really is meant to be a drive-thru type of establishment. I had never been to this place before not here in California or anywhere else. So for my first time I have to be very honest, it was the absolute very best coffee I had ever had! I would absolutely recommend for a visit!”

“We happened upon Honrama Cellars by chance and we’re so happy we did! They were getting ready to close up and go home but let us in to try a glass of wine. What a fun visit that ended up being! The proprietors were very pleasant, knowledgeable, and so patient with us as we asked over and over again to take our picture on the cool saddle seats. Many thanks to them! The vibe here was comfortable and quietly classy and the wine was fantastic!”

“Being Brazilian of Portuguese descent and a good cook, my expectations were managed. I didn't check reviews or saw photos but took a look at their menu outside and had to try their Portuguese dishes. The cod fritters bolinhos de bacalhau were authentic and delicious. It's hard to make them and find descent salted cod. The wine flights, white port wine, desserts and the whole dining experience were fantastic. These days most restaurants are very expensive with mediocre or just ok food. La Salette made me believe in great food again. The flavors kept building up and surprised us. We're coming back soon.”

“This little cafe was cute. I loved the old fashioned bar stools. It right out of the 50's. I had the cheese burgers that came with fries. It was juicy and the bread was fresh. My friend had the TLB sandwich and clam chowder. The chowder was thick and hit the spot perfectly per my friend. The waitperson was friendly.”

“Huge recommendation to everyone for Kina’s.We dined at Kinas tonight after having been awol for a while. Wow! Just wow! The food is just great. We all shared the nachos as a family appetizer and the flavors were bursting in every bite.My daughter had the burger and loved it. It was enough that she brought 1/2 home and there were enough fries for the entire family to satisfy our craving.We both had the pozole (just one of 7 soups). The broth had a great mild spice and the soup was surely enough as a meal. They serve a side of chili oil to spice it up if you like.The food selection is great. I struggled to decide between the Fish Tacos and the soup. Plenty of parking. We have a couple of other regular spots around town and honestly, they simply don't match the flavor and quality of the food. Well done!!! We will be back for sure”

“This is one of those “old school” deli places that still gives you a little Andes chocolate bar to go with your sandwich. I have fond memories growing up, stopping at this place to get their beef jerkey (best in the area, for sure!) and today swung by to grab a turkey sandwich for lunch. The Dutch crunch bread was fresh - chewy, and crispy on the outside - with fresh meat and “the works.” It was delicious, the staff were friendly, and prices were reasonable (!) yes, those kinds of places still exist in Sonoma! Can’t wait until my journeys lead me past Angelo’s again; I’ll be back.”

“Best tacos in Sonoma county! My personal favorite is ordering chicken tacos with al pastor salsa, but you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. They are doing everything right in their kitchen. I recommend checking their instagram to see where they’ll be at for the week. And don’t forget the potatoes and onions!”

Their wine portfolio is expansive; from brut sparkling, through still rosé and Sonoma Coast chardonnay, opulent Pinot Noirs and Cabs, concluding the tasting with an exceptional vintage of Beckstoffer Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Beautifully balanced wines with a soft touch and just a whisper of oak. Lisa took fabulous care of us from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, including farewell photos of our group. “Great experience tasting several different wines with the help of Brent. The atmosphere is low-key, decor is modern but not stuffy. Great location as well! Brent was attentive and very helpful in guiding our selections They offer a wonderful array of wines from sparkling all the way to Petit Verdot. Our favorite was the 2019 Syrah. Wonderful place to visit before or after lunch in Sonoma.”

“We had a fabulous time at this winery! We came as a group of 6 on a rainy Saturday morning in November. We discovered this place because it is in the Priority Wine Pass for 2-for-1 tastings. We were pleasantly surprised to find out they were actually doing free tastings during our visit! Which makes the service we received during our tasting even more appreciated. They are located in a cute shopping complex with other places to explore nearby. We sat inside at a beautiful wooden table with a TV screen showing videos/photos of their vineyard. They also have a covered patio with lots of plants that is really cute! One person in our group is pregnant and could not drink. Our host, Elaine, brought out several non-alcoholic drink options for her free of charge which was so kind--they even poured it into a wine glass for her to feel included! She gave us a sparkling rose to start off our tasting, an addition to the regular tasting menu. We got to choose 4 wines to try from their list of 10 for the flight, we loved that we got to choose which wines were part of our tasting since we all have different preferences! I'm more of a white wine girl and really loved the French Colombard, I purchased a bottle to take home! There were 2 Cabs in their tasting menu, our host encouraged my husband to try the more expensive one and explained why it is better--this was a pleasant surprise for a group that was there doing a free tasting. She even brought out chocolates and a dessert wine for us to have at the end! We ended up getting to taste 6 different wines during this tasting which was amazing. Elaine told us a lot of the history of Meadowcroft and shared details of some events they have at the winery like their wine blending events. She let us see the wine aroma charts and talked with us about different scents and flavors of wine! I'd love to come for one of those events sometime. We felt like Elaine went above and beyond for our service, we had to thank her for such a great experience here by buying several bottles of their wine! Thank you for being one of our favorite wineries of the weekend, I will certainly be back!”

“Kivelstadt was the highlight of our wine country trip. This is a hidden gem with unique, interesting, well-made wines and delicious seasonal farm to table bites from the attached restaurant. Tori who lead our tasting was very knowledgeable about the wines but also geeked out with us about all the birds visiting the feeders nearby. The vibe is very much like hanging out in the back yard with your friends, except your friends also happen to make really good wine and really good food (but like, they're super low key about both). Kivelstadt had been on my list for years but I had never gotten around to it because it's a little out of the way; Turns out it's absolutely worth making the time for.”

I tried to find out the winning menu item from my guests, but all the choices were winners - carnitas tacos, steak quesadilla, vegetarian burritos,.... “A watering hole for the locals, it's a charming place with a jukebox to select your music. Dan, the bartender, is a nice guy who can provide a helpful ear if you wanna unburden yourself. Dan also makes a mean blood mary, which is described as the best in town on the directory board. I agree with that ad, twas a bloody good bloody mary ! You get a shrimp with it !!!!It's a small place with about 3-4 booths and easy to miss when walking in Sonoma downtown. We found it only coz it was 9:30pm and this was one of the few places open. FYI, its open till late night. Preferably, walk to this place.The locals are friendly and provide good stories you can sit and provide half an ear to when watching basketball or ice hockey. If you are interested, you can even watch star trek TNG.No food is available here though except for packaged chips. But deftly a lovely place to end your day at.A for sure return visit for me next time I'm in sonoma downtown.Parking: Parking is on the street around the town square which can fill up pretty quickly. And its only a 2-3 hour parking.”

“Huge recommendation to everyone for Kina’s.We dined at Kinas tonight after having been awol for a while. Wow! Just wow! The food is just great. We all shared the nachos as a family appetizer and the flavors were bursting in every bite.My daughter had the burger and loved it. It was enough that she brought 1/2 home and there were enough fries for the entire family to satisfy our craving.We both had the pozole (just one of 7 soups). The broth had a great mild spice and the soup was surely enough as a meal. They serve a side of chili oil to spice it up if you like.The food selection is great. I struggled to decide between the Fish Tacos and the soup. Plenty of parking. We have a couple of other regular spots around town and honestly, they simply don't match the flavor and quality of the food. Well done!!! We will be back for sure”

It's unpretentious, tiny, and feels like you're at home waiting for your friends to feed you from their awesome wood burning kitchen. I wish I'd captured pictures of the ambience because it really felt like you were being served magic!You can see the kitchen fridge when you walk in and during the dinner you see it get emptied as they bring out dish after delicious dish. It's pretty special to see the ingredients listed in their raw form and have it appear in front of you all alchemised.Everything we ate was so different and unique from anything I've eaten and the portions were amazing too. And I am a chili relleno snob so we stopped here on my daughter-in-law's suggestion and unfortunately she wins or maybe fortunately? The fish tacos were better than anything I've ever had and the chili Anna was above average so I can strongly recommend this place for the food. We had to wait about 10 minutes at the register even though they were open at 11:00 which bothers me a little bit because if you're going to open the front door you should be ready to go. But other than that the food came out promptly and was beyond amazing”

The experience has opened my eyes to what is possible with low carb alternatives. The Guinness braised short ribs were fall-apart delicious. The meat was so tender. The roasted vegetables were also delicious. I am so happy I discovered this place. I will probably be stopping by here every time I am in Sonoma.”

Clearly we didn't stop in for atmosphere, with its wide open dining area and very high ceiling, the sound really bounces around, but when it comes to food this is where you want to be. The open faced meatball sandwich is truly a meal! Those enormous house made meatballs are just the right size for the fresh sourdough bread, add the fresh melted mozzarella and red sauce and your in heaven!. Apparently sandwiches are in their wheelhouse, they also serve one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever had. Layered cheeses with a bit of sauce squeezed in between the grilled sourdough bread was the best I have ever had. Add a side salad and your set. Although the server seemed to take a while to warm up, overall the service was good. This is a great place for lunch. Cheers!”

“Omg the stuffed artichoke and fish tacos here are Devine. We came when it was very busy but managed to get a seat quickly. We stopped at the bar first and were able to get some drinks from an awesome and quick bar tender. Our party visited 3 times in our 4 day vacation to Sonoma so you could say we liked it. The bathrooms are very nice and clean and it wasn’t a super far walk from the square if you are hoping to avoid an Uber.Vegetarian options: The artichoke is to die for. They have an excellent menu.Parking: There is a lot of different kinds of parking around. Even though the place was packed there was lots of street parking around. I believe lots of people walk.”
