“Magnolia is my go to brewery in San Francisco after family outings in the city with the occasional visit to fort point. The customer service is always good and so are the beers. The food is also quality although I do wish the prices were a little bit lower but regardless, very good. They will make haze’s, IPA’s, traditional beers, stouts, porters, you name it they have it. The inside and ambiance are very nice and it does get packed especially on the weekends but thankfully they do have outside seating as well.Highly recommend this brewery and I hope it stays as it’s a staple in the neighborhood.Kid-friendliness: Probably not the most kid friendly as it’s right and no outdoor areas but I will usually sit outside or bring the stroller in and give the kids an IPAD as we enjoy the beers.“
“Best damn brewery in SF. This place had a cozy neighborhood feel while being friendly and welcoming to guests from all over. The brewer has decades of experience and has pioneered a true onsite microbrewery atmosphere with a dynamic tap list and simple yet tasty food menu. Perfect for after work drinks or grabbing a 4 pack of freshly made cans to go!“
“Love this brewery bar! Everyone is so welcoming. My personal favorite was the lemon grass beer. So flavorful! I got some to go as well. There was a Korean food vendor from SF outside the venue so we got some snacks to go with the bar. Will be back !“
“My first concert experience at Chase Center was to see Bryan Adams and Joan Jett. I know I’m late to the party but at least I’m here now. Unlike my typical routine, we showed up well before the concert doors opened so we walked o er to Harmonic Brewing for a beer and bite to eat. We sat outside which can be challenging since this area is typically windy and cold but we managed ok. Service was great and the beers excellent. We ate the food so fast I’m not sure how it tasted. I’m not sure when I’ll be back to Chase, hopefully soon to see another Warriors game and I’ll be sure to arrive early for a treat at Harmonic.“
“It has been a while since I’ve gone to this place. Came here the week that they first opened and several times since then. This last visit was the first time since they switched ownership. Came here on a Sunday afternoon. There were seats available but definitely started to fill up. First thing that I noticed was the music was a tad loud. They had several TVs showing various games. (This place gets busy especially when Bay Area teams are playing.) There were a couple of big groups including a birthday party upstairs.I ordered the fish and chips. It was good but it was not as big as I had expected.“
“Somehow this spot feels like a backcountry ranger station or mountain top ski hut. What I’m saying is it’s cozy, simple, understated and completely unique for the area brewery/bar scene. These guys make great beer and wine locally, and empanadas are on point. Look for the ski lift chair out front and escape.“
“Beer is always best fresh, and I thoroughly enjoyed my weekday lunch visit. It's basically just a kiosk take out window in front of the Ferry Building. Lots of seating, both in the shade and in the sun. They have maybe 8 taps plus a decent selection of cans. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so the bartender was nice enough to walk me through a few different beers with samples and descriptions. I settled on the ANIMAL IPA with my empanada.“
“Great European food especially the schnitzel and stroganoff. Beer choices are always great with a majority euro selection including dark and light polish, German, and Belgium beers. I have been going to this place sporadically over the years and am just now reviewing it. Love this spot and hope it stays for years to come.“
“I got a flight of the bartenders choice and enjoyed the chicken tortilla soup despite ridiculous amounts of cilantro. I wish it had a better view of the bridge but still, a cool space. Hipster without being off-putting. Friday afternoon vibes, might be different at night. Go for the stouts and porters, and some sour beer in wine barrels thing.“
“This bar rules y’all. Friendly bartenders, good drinks, fun interior, spacious, and they even have a fireplace. I’ve been for trivia before, and that was fun too! This place is kind of a hidden gem. It’s a great place to go hang with friends.“
“Great place to get casual drinks with friends especially on weekdays. The tater tots, stouts, and fried cheese curds were great finger food.Vegetarian options: Spiced cauliflower, tots, fried cheese curds, pizza, veggie burger are all tasty vegetarian options“
“I was in the neighborhood visiting a brewery and decided I needed a quick bite to eat. I noticed Whole Foods Steep Brew's beer tap list on Untappd and had to come in. The store is built on a hill, so to take advantage they put the bar at the bottom. This is a coffee shop and beer bar and it has notes of both. If you're in the grocery store, head to the left after the cashiers down the stairs and you'll find it. They bar is to the left, coffee shop to the right. To the far right is a burger joint with restrooms behind it. The main floor has comfortable seating areas great for reading or working. I bought food upstairs and sat at the bar to try a few beers. The tap list is fantastic, with all Bay Area local breweries represented. They offer flights so you can have smaller glasses of more types. Prices are fairly typical, especially since I felt the flight sizes were larger than a normal bar. My first bartender Rachel was super friendly and fun; Ro took over later and was great conversation too. I genuinely had a great time, it felt like a neighborhood bar. It's worth a stop if you need a beer or coffee break while walking around.“
“The ambiance is terrific! Large open dining on large covered deck out back with picnic style tables as well as full lounge seating for your group of friends to join you. The food is great. Medium priced. Good service. Brewskies to compliment the menu.“
“Off the path brewery that offers a variety of beers on tap. It's a great spot for a super low key evening as there is standup comedy outside when the weather is warmer or in the distillery on select nights. I've been to both spaces and it's fun, depending on the luck of the draw of comedians. The bar area can get hot and stuffy pretty fast when there's a lot of people. Note the distillery for standup is quiet and energy can be low in the evenings since there are only string lights and no music. One comedian described it as "a group gathering in the dark waiting for a vigil to a tragedy" LOL“
“I actually really love this place, it’s combined with joyride pizza which is delicious. It’s near some sort of an office building/campus so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend leaving SF to come here (it’s not exactly a bustling little neighborhood with other things to do) but it’s a great spot to grab a beer if you’re local to Daly City.“
“My girlfriend and I came here because it was the highest rated wings in this part of South San Francisco. We walked past the place twice because we couldn't find it. Their sign is barely noticeable. We found it because of the address. The wings are incredible and the beers were equally good. Highly recommended. I just wish they had a better sign out front so people could find the place.“
