They care about all the details, from the freshness of each ingredient to the suggestions and pairings of items. We started with the olives and avocado salad - the olives were warm and juicy, and the salad was fresh and light. Paired well together! We also ordered both the squid ink special pasta and the truffle - they were absolutely delicious. We also ordered the garlic Parmesan focaccia and finished off with the chocolate mousse dessert. 10/10 recommend, everything was perfect!“
“Amazing experience! We came here after a show that ran overtime, so we were a bit late. Regardless, we were greeted with a huge smile and the cocktail menu. When cleaning up the first course of bites, our server asked if we would like to leave the sauce to eat with the bread we had left. We both found this very thoughtful because usually at these fancy restaurants I’m worried about my food getting cleaned up too quickly and not being able to enjoy everything long enough! At the end of the night we had to run off to get our car out of the parking lot and completely forgot to take our to-go bag with us. We got a missed call and voicemail to let us know, and they were going to hold it for us for another 30mins even though we were the last customers of the night and had already left! The service was amazing and so was the food. I cannot recommend this place enough!Vegetarian options: If you inform your server that you are vegetarian they will point out everything you can eat. From my experience, there was at least one dish in each section to choose from, and I didn’t order that much for myself.“
“What a fantastic place. I wanted to try this place for specifically its cupping pepperoni and I was not disappointed. The people behind the bar that night were so friendly, were hustling to get all their drinks made, gave just enough space and attention for us to enjoy our meal and chat while attending to everything else. We got both their pepperoni and the potato pesto pizza to try and loved it. Their crust is perfectly leopard spotted, not too thick, didn't overload the pizza with toppings, and used great ingredients. The pepperoni pizza was loaded with it and had a nice spicy/garlicy undertone. As for the drinks, we got a Shirley temple and a Bunny Hop cocktail which hit the right balance of interesting botanicals. We ended the night with a not too sweet but extremely moist chocolate cake and some of the best pistachio gelato we've tried. Not only was the pistachio on top but also mixed into the dessert. It had all the complexities you'd expect. Their bathroom is clean, their art decor is cute, their music taste is nice, and you can see them making the pizzas right there. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be coming back.“

“TL;DR: Worth the visit, unique flavor profiles and pairings! Exceptional service. I celebrated my anniversary here and they did not disappoint! As soon as we got seated, there was a note to acknowledge our anniversary and it was a warm welcome! As someone who is indecisive, I enjoyed the structure of the menu, first two dishes were included while you had options to choose from for the next three courses. We had complementary Japanese milk bread to start and it was probably the best bread I've ever had! The cultured butter and warm bread make such a cravable combo! The second dishes were light and refreshing! The cured hiramasa had the perfect touch of spice from the Fresno vinaigrette and the Asian pear cut through ever so slightly making it a delicate pairing with the fish. The beet tartare has good texture with the horseradish foam and crunch from the pine nuts. Second course, the celery root ravioli was different and had a light herbaceous note that made the dish not too heavy like other pasta dishes. We added the supplemental agnolotti and they did not skimp out in the truffles. We're not usually fans of truffle but it was not overpowering and complemented in flavor and texture. Third course, we had all three dishes! Seared black cod and the A5 wagyu melted in your mouth, we didn't even need the knife to cut through. The sauces in both dishes cut through the fattiness and paired well with the decadent taste of both the fish and meat. The Sakura pork had a good chew and smokiness from the breakfast sausage was unexpected but made for a desirable pairing. Fifth and final course, we opted to try both desserts! The profiles of both sweet dishes were different but worth the try. The spiced chocolate had subtle ginger notes while having a good crunch complemented by the meringue. Spring forward definitely gave the feeling of spring with light and airy flavors of nutty coconut and green herb granita! All in all, I'd revisit to try out the revolving menus, the chefs really put time and thought in the courses and left me intrigued for what's coming up next. I guess they don't care because it's always full, but yeah, it could use a little sprucing up.“

“Stopped in with my buddy before a Warriors game. Place is open, spacious and well lit so it's very inviting. We quickly found a seat at the bar for two about 20-30 min before game time. Ordered a few beers (great beer selection) and were sipping on drinks within 10 minutes of waking in the door. People sitting next us at bar were friendly and bartender (also part owner) was extremely helpful and attentive while we're there. We had already eaten but food on menu and at people tables looked very good. Will definitely make sure to stop by here next time I'm in the area with a little more time to dive into food and wine/beer menu.“

They have a great selection on natural wines which you can buy by the bottle or glass. Now, lets talk about the real star of the show - the food! my friends and I were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the plates are here. The mushroom fries were perfectly crispy despite the fact that they are drenched in a delicious mushroom cream sauce. The duck liver mousse french toast was a decadent and rich and the smash burger was perfectly cooked. Key Klub has definitely earned a spot on my list of go-to places in the cities and the mushroom fries alone are reason enough to have me coming back.“

Desserts: Valrhona chocolate fondant and floating island (meringue) in caramel sauce with creme anglaise. Lovely wine selection to go along with anything you choose. “Such a hidden gem - One of the best Thai restraunts Iv'e had in the Bay Area! They have a main menu that mostly contains the more standard Thai dishes that might see at a lot of other places. But they also have a hidden menu with some really unique Thai dishes that I haven't seen very often here but had when I visited Thailand and this brought back tons of memories! For the 2 of us, we got the fresh raw shrimp appetizer, papaya salad with blue crab, crab omlette, and stir fried morning glory. All the dishes were yum, but the first 2 were quite spciy! Servers are also super friendly and price is very reasonable for SF especially considering its location in the Marina. Highly recommend!“

I had a glass of the montepulciano di abruzzo. The server gave good recommendations for my friend that was not familiar with Italian wines. She had the gnocchi and I had the homemade fettuccine with vodka sauce and procuitto. They were both so good and perfect serving size, petite, filling but not stuffed. Small place, dark ambience, music playing but not too loud to hear your own conversation. Got a table at 7pm for 2 with no reservation on a Wednesday night. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!“

My wife had a polenta breakfast with a large chicken sausage ensconced within and I had a thin flat hot pizza with prosciutto and cheese and two sunny-side-up huevos in the center. Yumm! Service was prompt and courteous (almost courtly, she was so nice). And the atmosphere was firmly on the genteel side. But we needed that that morning. We left the cafe like we'd been to a day spa, ready to face the world!“

“Arranged for an afternoon wine tasting with friends recently and had a wonderful experience. From the start when I called to make the arrangements, Ken was accommodating and asked key questions to ensure I received my desired experience. After some discussion, I explained I wanted to take a "tour of France." No further questions were required, as Ken knew exactly what to do. He even recommended a nice charcuterie pairing with these wines as well. On the day of the event, one of my friends arrived before me and Ken made her feel welcome as she waited. Upon my arrival, Ken recalled the details of our earlier phone conversation and confirmed everything I had arranged. While we waited for the rest of the group to arrive, Ken treated us to a bonus tasting of a wine that went well at the front of our tasting list. Our tasting started on time and the good service continued. Not only did we have a great selection of wines from the best known regions, we were served wines from some lesser known French regions. It was great to have Ken explain the characteristics of the wines and how slight differences in location even within these regions can yield variations in the wines. Ken's knowledge was a great addition that helped me to enjoy the tasting experience that much more. Ken was attentive throughout our event and around just enough to contribute pleasant conversation, information about the wines, and to see if we needed anything. I felt at home throughout the entire event. I highly recommend the Wine Vault for a quality wine tasting experience in South San Francisco.“
