“I went to this Subway on Memorial Day around 2pm. It was busy inside with people enjoying their food and a small line waiting to order. The gentleman working was moving fast and with a huge smile on his face. When it was my turn to order, he apologized for the delay but it really wasn't that long and his work ethic was so impressive that I really didn't mind waiting. I ordered 3 footlong sandwiches with chips and soda for each and a 6 pack of cookies to go. Everything was fresh and delicious. Oh and um, THOSE COOKIES ARE SO BOMB!! Everything was about $45 which seems reasonable to me and I walked out with two heavy bags so it felt reasonable too lol. Subway is Subway and you know what to expect food wise but what really made this Subway stand out was the amazing service. I left in a better mood than when I walked in - and that says a lot about a place!“
“The service was friendly and efficient.The restaurant was clean although there was some water spilled on the floor in the dining area. It was blocked off with caution signs and the sandwich artist immediately corrected it as soon as he completed all of our orders.I requested that my sandwich be toasted. Unfortunately this made the bread really dried out and hard. That made the sandwich difficult to eat and I actually ended up wasting part of it because the edges of the bread were literally rock hard and impossible to chew.The parts that were not dried out were actually good, although the toppings were a bit skimpy.Also the restaurant was out of chocolate chip cookies which was disappointing because I had been going to order one.“
“This is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Before I even finished it, I was already looking at the menu of what I am going to get next time. Went in to place the order, being it was my first time, and they were very quick.. I ordered the Jack Hammer on Rye, which is very delicious. This will be my go-to lunch spot. There was so much meat on the sandwiches and came with a small side of potato salad or macaroni salad. Great quality and friendly service..Update. “If your like me and grew up somewhere in New England with an amazing clam shack nearby where you lived then you probably also know you can't find whole belly clams anywhere out here. Except of course Pete's. Pete drives to the airport 3 times a week I'm told to pick up his shipment of fresh New England Maine lobster and seafood. His cooks have been taught well how to fry them to perfection. It's a true neighborhood restaurant with nice people, excellent service and a product that cannot be found anywhere else in San Diego. AMAZING! I have been going there for years. If you want to meet Pete you'll have to go for lunch. Seems like he's there every day. If it's dinner you'll be served by one of his people. All the same people I've seen for many years which is another sign of a good restaurant.“
“this place is very good. amazing options for vegetarian and in general. the food is amazing and pretty healthy too. the service is impeccable and they are always asking me if i’m doing okay and i just find customer service like that to be superb. and they have craft soda! the kind of soda that doesn’t make you feel fat when you get it and is just the better soda options altogether. definitely on the pricey side with my ordering coming in at 15 dollars every time but for the quality i think it’s worth it.“

“My favorite bahn mi place in the Chula Vista/National City area. Run by a sweet family and their bahn mi always hit the spot especially for the price. You can even see them make your sandwich as the kitchen is easily seen from the front. My favorites are the crispy pork belly (heo quay) and the grilled pork (thit nuong). “Gaglione's cheesesteaks are (obviously) the best in San Diego. My mom's from Philly and I've been many times, and I still think Gaglione's makes the best cheesesteak I've ever had. It's a fairly small shop but the vibes are great, you're greeted with smiles and hellos when you walk in and the staff is just awesome. I wish I could remember the name of the gal who took our order (Feb 29 around 1pm?), she was just so sweet and helpful. She even came outside to bring us our food because we're not the brightest apparently and didn't realize we could not hear the orders being yelled out from outside. “It's an unassuming shop that has a good variety of banh mis (sandwhiches) among other typical Vietnamese Deli selections. The sandwhiches were pretty good and fairly priced. They definitely hit the spot when you've got that craving! The staff is very friendly, if a little bit sparse. They do work quickly to get yoru order prepared. I liked their selection of banh mis, they've got the classics and few others for the uninitiated. The bread was great, crunchy exterior and soft on the inside. “What a great place to order from! I needed 28 sandwiches for students for a field trip. We were able to order online a couple of days before, and I was able to pick them up at 7:45 am. So glad they open at 6! Before driving over my one concern was that in the past, the lunches were in boxes. But I was really happy that all the lunches were in bags and in a handy reusable bag! It was really simple, Blackforest ham and cheese on Italian bread, Doritos, and a chocolate chip cookie! My students were happy! I was happy! “I am honestly an ex Subway gal and am addicted to the BLT sub here at Jersey Mike's! Not stingy with the bacon and made fresh!I have been here at this location three times in one week. Came in last night with a coworker and the two workers there were not only amazing, friendly, and made THE best BLT, but they worked well under pressure during the rush hour crowd. One guy was very rude, I observed, and was rushing them, and they handled this dirtbag in a professional manner. My best go to place from now on. You have a new fan Jersey Mike's!! “Got the NY Steamer hot sandwich. It has corned beef brisket and pastrami, provolone, deli mustard, mayo, and Italian dressing. I added marinara, tomatoes, and grilled onions and peppers. The sandwich was delicious. It just had less meat on it than previous times I ordered it. Hopefully this was a one time occurrence and isn't a permanent cost cutting measure. Update: Got a small Hero and a small NY Steamer. Both were very tasty. Despite the app saying pickle spears are included with each sandwich, they forgot to include a pickle spear with each sandwich. Less meat now seems to be the norm.Parking: Parking is sparse at lunchtime in the shared parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking, entrance, and seating.“
