“This is by far the worst breakfast experiences I have ever had. If I could put zero stars I would. We put our order for scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. Waited an hour and a half, finally went in to see what was going on and our order was never made. (Computer mistake) which I understood so then I asked to have our order to go. We waited and our food wasn’t put in to go containers. So we ate our food and they messed up scrambled eggs. They were inedible. Overall just terrible. They had such high reviews it was very upsetting.“

“Delicious!!!!! All in house, quality ingredients, and no short cuts. The process and pride in the baking shows up in the food. The pasties are high quality, and very tasty. They use whole food ingredients; no extracts or artificial flavors. The staff is amazing, and makes you feel like part of the family. We grabbed a couple pasties, and sat in their lovely (kid and dog friendly) porch. Amazing views!! The owner came out a few minutes after we finished to ask how everything was, which pastry we enjoyed most, and catch up generally. We had a lovely conversation, and really loved our experience. “As someone who was raised exclusively on the art that is the Philly Pretzel I've felt deprived in Southern California. As time goes on it's grown harder to visit Philadelphia meaning more time between the brown paper bagged doughy goodness you'd buy from the guy on the center divider. Then came West coast Pretzels. These pretzels are it. Everything you love about a Philly pretzel in the sunshine of Los Angeles. I bought enough to barely last my family 18 hours. My Partner, who has only had the remnants of the Philly pretzels that made it from the outside of the airport back to LAX ate a couple bites and exclaimed that these were the best pretzels he's EVER had. This taste of "home" is so great to have available, closer than a full day of travel away. And the best part.... Unlike the Philly pretzel factory, these bad boys are vegan!“

My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.“

Family owned shop with the mom and son working when my friend and I went in. So much variety, and the price point is low for all you’re getting.This is a bakery making old school, classic recipes. They veganized so many items that you can’t find in most places. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious, concha’s super tasty, Tres Leches was chef’s kiss, turnover amazing, danish great, cupcakes yum, eclairs fantastic and empanadas scrumptious. Highly recommend. Plus for folks who like supporting small business, this is exactly that. It’s a win-win-win-win. Taste-options-price-family owned & operated. Get there!“

“This place is always selling out of breads. Of course I also come in the evening when the "se me antoja un cafecito con pan" (craving some sweet bread and coffee) kicks in. Love the variety and the freshness of the bread. We have tried a few in the area and so far have come back here again and again. The owners/workers are friendly and will answer any questions you have. I do small talk at times and they've always engaged well. This place is definitely small. Was craving donuts and driving around for a while trying to find a decent clean donut spot around San Fernando/ Pacoima. The gentleman that helped us in the front was so friendly and inviting. “Small, charming bakery/confectionary located in Glendale right at the Burbank border. I've only been once as of 3/24, but it seems like they do a lot of unique cakes or at least cakes I don't see often at other places. Their other offerings include coffee, tea, other baked goods, and of course, lots of fun confections. Oh, and they offer an afternoon tea service seated on the side of the building in an enclosed area. I came here looking for the Blum's Coffee Crunch Cake - I heard great things and wanted to pick some up for a friend's birthday. Lots of things looked really good, so ended up getting a couple slices of the coffee crunch cake, a slice of the passionfruit pie, and a couple of the mochi shoyu caramel cakes. The coffee crunch cake is as delicious as advertised - it was a spongey chiffon cake, not overly sweet, and had a great contrast in texture with the coffee honeycomb that adorned the outside on the whipped coffee frosting. Actually none of the items were overly sweet, which I appreciated. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the passionfruit pie - similar to a key lime pie. The moshi shoyu was nice and chewy, with a bit of Asian flavor profile. There was a group of folks finishing up the afternoon tea and they had to come in and pay, so it was a bit hectic at the time I was in there, but the line pretty standard in terms of bakeries or coffee shops.“

“I was told about this place by a friend. I called on a Sunday and Ashley answered. I told her that it would take me a little after 4 pm (which is the time they close) To get to them. At 4 o'clock Ashley was nice enough to call me to find out my ETA. “Very friendly and helpful staff. The ice cream is great if a bit pricy but isn't everything nowadays? I'm not a fan of overly sweet ice cream. The coffee and peanut butter were great choices. I took the suggestion of peanut butter and chose coffee since it is one of my favorite flavors. The peanut butter wasn't too sweet and the flavor was strong without being overly so. The coffee was better with the sweet level since the bitterness helps cut it down.Parking: Street parking only, so you may have to park a distance away and walk to the store.“

“This is a takeout donut place. They're donuts are not overly sweet and are baked fresh throughout the day. I took some to my office in Oxnard and one of the employees recognized the box and said she drives many miles just to get donuts at this location. They even have blueberry donuts, which I understand is rare. The prices are super reasonable, the donuts are fresh and not overly sweet and I can't recommend this place enough.“

The Rosca de reyes was not on my list but since they were out of conchas, I opted to get one. So glad I did, the rosca was warm, moist and delicious. One thing though is that they do not take cards ONLY cash so come prepared. I had to go to the liquor store next door to use the ATM as they do not offer cash back.“

“They did it again! I brought an idea in and once again I was blown away with the design outcome. The flavor was perfect too. I requested two cakes one large and one small for an angry birds themed. I told them I want the angry birds on one as if they were aiming towards the green bad pigs on another cake. I told them that I really wanted the slingshot and tnt boxes incorporated somehow and they sure did! They are truly the best at everything they do.
