“The fried chicken is the best I’ve ever had and it’s not even close. The mild chicken is really spicy but just the right amount for me, not overly intense. It’s nice and crunchy. It’s even great cold. The fries are bomb too. What I also like is that it’s exactly the same quality every time, there is no variance. Wish I had found this place years ago.“
“Love this eatery! Great food, amazing service and love the laid back atmosphere.Parking: A bit difficult to park along the main streets and don’t really know the residential area parking restrictions. We tend to come here on Sundays to avoid have parking issues ?Kid-friendliness: Great menu selection for the kids and includes a beverage“
“Some of the best CHicken sliders i have had in the heart of Glendale. Driving pass here after seeing someone, We decided to stop by here and grab some Chicken spicy sliders and non spicy ones. Food was finger tastin good with pickles, mayo and all the good sauces. Staff are cool as hell. Gotta love Hot Chix, You always want em hot. Wish i could hang in Glendale often, But ill be back again when visitng my kinship over here.“
“If you want to see what real hot chicken should taste like then you should stop by and try this place out. The brine is done so perfectly that the chicken just falls apart. The seasonings they use taste amazing. I never get tired of this place from the chicken to the fries to the sauce everything is amazing! The service is always top notch and the inside is actually clean and tidy so you can sit down and enjoy your food!“
“I like the food here, but the attitude of the main guy behind the counter? I don’t understand- Bruh…you are running a restaurant, and while food is important there is a reason why every food review platform in the universe has a rating category entitled service. If you can’t be the least bit courteous than take park your grumpy self in the back where customers don’t have to worry about offending you by placing an order and providing you with their credit card.“
“Such a great experience here! Place is exceptionally clean and the service is quick. It was my first time at Dave's and Jessie the cashier answered all of my questions. The chicken was tender and crispy, just the way it's supposed to be. I'll be back the next time i'm in Burbank!“
“When me and my lady got there we weren’t sure what was the difference between the mild and spicy seasoning so the cook gave us a sample to differ out the spicy level. The cook was honestly cool for that. Me and my lady ordered some hot fries, Mac & cheese, and a slider and the owners brother was soo chill, once we got our food and tasted it oh my it was soo good it made my toes curl up. 10 out of 10 will be coming back“
“Ariana and Sarkis were so helpful and accommodating. The food was prepared very quickly . We ordered the cauliflower bites with medium spice, chicken tenders with mild spice, and the two slider combo. If you are a vegan and love hot ? "chicken" the cauliflower is ? ? amazing, too!“
“I ended up the main chick combo the fries here were one of the best. The potatoes they used and how they seasoned were perfect. The chicken itself needed more seasoning. The chicken combo was honestly very good and will plan to get this place again down the line.“
“This is a spectacular restaurant. Stopped to check it out. I tried to figure out what I wanted online so I could call it in. I failed I had to walk in cause everything on the menu looks amazing. I had the BBQ chicken salad and that is a 11 out of 10. Wow just wow mind blowing good :)“
“Came here on a night that they suddenly got slammed. Initially my wait was going to be 15 minutes but turned I to over 30. The guy behind the counter was super cool and apologized and even threw in the mac and cheese which was superb!!!! I ordered a box of the jumbo tenders and the sandwich, again both just hit the mark. I'd highly recommend this place. Give it some local love for sure!!“
“If you’re looking for one of the best chicken eateries in LA, look no further. Rockbird offers chicken that once you’ve tried, it won’t be enough even though it’s massive. The chicken is moist and juicy. The flavor is savoring. Start with the chicken tenders and work your way through the menu. You wont be disappointed“
“Workers are so nice and friendly the time i was there i saw them help many customers with orders, as well and the place is always clean, and don't let me get started on the food definitely will become a regular it's so so good and they have great service fast service may I add im always in and out of there within a couple minutes definitely would recommend for other to come and try this place !!!“
“Flavor. It’s one of those places you go for an easy delicious meal. No bathroom, no amenities; only incredibly authentic Nashville chicken. Humble family owned business. Their daughter has been there with them since she was 2. They came from Armenia to America to follow the dream. Seems they have accomplished it. With another store, actually brick and mortar restaurant and a third undisclosed location coming to LA plus both restaurants have 5 stars. Come on. The best.Kid-friendliness: Kids love chicken tenders.“
“One of the best fried hot chickens I've had! The chicken was so juicy and full of flavor! The fried Oreos are to die for! The grilled cheese was also a HIT!! I've ordered from them a few times and every time has been better than the last!“
“Dinah's is the quintessential classic fried chicken spot! Located on the east side of Los Angles—this place is a hidden gem tucked amidst the swank Galleria shopping district in the foothill enclave of Glendale, California just beneath the Vergudo Mountains. The ambiance is a perfect blend of folksy and traditional with carved wooden furniture and ornamental decór laid about in a fashion not dissimilar to what one might expect to see in an old guard Dixieland dining room of a grand home in the southern United States. The seats, tables, and flatware were all exceptionally clean and the restroom areas were also noticeably well-kept. Service was top-notch with polite and pleasant staff readily available at every turn. Food was served within minutes of placing our orders and came out piping hot with generous portions and no room for regrets. We ordered the Chicken Dinners, which come with three pieces of perfectly crispy golden fried chicken along with two sides and a dinner roll. My order included mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, and an extra chicken drumstick for $1 as part of the Friday Special. The potatoes were rich and smooth. The mac was creamy, oozing with cheese, and it had a perfect bite to the pasta. And the dinner rolls were as to be expected. I could not have been happier, as this place satisfied my every craving for southern comfort food without all of the off-putting qualities of a standard, fast-food chicken spot. If you're in the mood for a good fried chicken dinner the way it should be done, at a reasonable price, Dinah's is the way to go. Five Stars across the board.“
“Comparing this one to the one on Pico/Crenshaw, parking is much much easier and closer to the freeway. The chicken indeed seemed a ted less spicy hot but all the favors are there. (Went to Crenshaw 2 days later and clearly able to compare) As usual, ordered the biggest 20 piece dinning in and it was hot and juicy, especially the breast. Busy on the chicken left the fries cold but still nothing left to take home. The chicken was fresh from the frier as one was bubbling on the table. Teared up one of the breast and juice immediately drip onto the plate. I wore eating clothes every time I go to GUS to refrain from having ruined clothes to regret later. They gave me forks every time but I had never used them. Go wash hands and get dirty!“
“Awesome place. Parking is a problem. Food was very affordable and quality. Good size portions. Service was good. Food was delicious, and perfectly made. I got the number 3. With hot and medium, that’s the perfect balance. Come check it out.“
“You guys are awsome. Stela and the cashier were awesome tonight. We came in almost at close and they were super nice and even cooked fresh food for us. We came from far and barely made it but they made our dinner and night perfect. You need more like your crew you had tonight. Starting from management all the way to your cook. Had the best smile and ready to make the food even if it was time for them to almost go home.“
“I love getting their food after school because it’s close by and there’s a bunch of options that I like a lot. I like their sandwich the most because the sauce they put in it tastes really good with the chicken, and their place is close by in the LA area so I don’t have to drive out too far to get a good meal.Kid-friendliness: I go with my little brother sometimes when I pick him up afterschool and the workers are so kind and there’s non-spicy options for the food that me and my lil brother can enjoy :D great place and great service too“
“Finally!! This location knows how to make a slider! My son is obsessed with Dave’s so we have visited many locations, even AZ and MI locations. Glendale knows that a slider should have coleslaw, some other locations have put such a small amount it’s like 5 pieces of slaw. Thanks for a great slider.“
“The food here is great. They moved recently and I was hesitant to drive the extra distance but it's totally worth it. I think the food is even better at this new spot. Their sauce is amazing, I'd probably buy it in bulk if they sold it.“
“Oh my God, you guys! It's like Aziz Ansari once said, 'Treat yo' self!' And that's exactly what I do at 818 - the late-night savior of my hunger pangs! Picture this: it's 10 PM in Glendale, and everything else is snoozing, but not 818, oh no! They're like the Batman of restaurants, always there when you need them. Their chicken? It's like a high-five in your mouth! Crispy, juicy, and totally kosher – it's like they're frying up happiness. And the staff? Superheroes in aprons, I tell you! They guide you through the menu like a tasty treasure map, helping you discover culinary gold. Hungry for a pressed chicken sandwich with a twist? They've got you covered. Craving their signature chicken sandwich with that crunchy coleslaw and tangy pickles? Boom, your taste buds are in for a party! This place isn't just a restaurant, it's my culinary soulmate. Always open, always awesome. So, go on, treat yo' self and check them out!“
“If you like the style of cooking then this spot is for you. Pricey but big sized pieces. Cooked after ordering so there is a little wait. Good variety of flavors that I wish I could try more of but alas, the style of cooking/ food is not for me“
“It's a 5 for food. Always consistently good chicken and fries. Probably the only fast casual restaurant that has fries that hold up well being transported. However, on my Uber eats tonight, my Loaded fries had no chicken and I was missing the extra sauce I had ordered which was very disappointing.“
“First time trying bb.q and will order again. I ordered the original boneless and was impressed with the flavor, crispiness and tenderness of the K fried chicken. It seemed a bit expensive at first (8 pieces for $19.19) but there were more than 8 pieces and I should have shared with my wife.“
“I go to the The Shops at Sportsmen's Lodge very frequently and knew that this eatery was open but never tried it until tonight (1/29/24). I was avoiding it due to the cost but for the value it is actually great! As I was not super hungry, I got the Chicken Pita (Chicken, gingery turmeric roasted onions, golden raisins, yogurt sauce, arugula). It was amazing and super filling. The chicken was fresh and the raisins really gave it the extra flavor. They REALLY FILL the pita! My friend got the Quarter Chicken Plate (Choice of light or dark, with hummus, wedge salad, pickles, pita, chili oil + garlic sauce). They substituted the pita for the Schmaltzy Potatoes (Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside). It was a big portion and could have been shared. Will definitely be back!“
“This was some gooood chicken. I was excited to try Cluck and Blaze in Glendale after driving past it months ago and finally found a reason to go. The side chick sandwich was delicious, the combination of the slaw and pickles plus the comeback sauce was so tasty. I got mine in "You Can Do Better" spicy level and that was all I could handle. The fries were good but the tots were THE BOMB. I recommend getting an extra side of comeback sauce, it costs extra but it's worth it!Clean restaurant and friendly staff, I will definitely be back to try those clucking fries and one of those desserts! (And who am I kidding, maybe get more Mac and cheese)...“
“4.5 stars Very crispy and juicy fried chicken and you can get regular or spicy! They sell tenders as well as sandwiches (got the combo that has both) and loved the shredded daikon radishes on the HolDaak original version). It’s not a big space but they have a few of communal tables if you want to dine in. Service was great and I’ll definitely be back for my fried chicken fix. Plus they sell boba!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Everything on ground floor“
“Searching for something good to say about my experience at Los Pollo Sabrosos, I think it's safe to say that it made me appreciate El taco and El Pollo Loco a lot more. If you enjoy tastelessness, overpriced chicken burritos, you're gonna love this gem. And from the few pieces of chicken that I found in each bite, I feel like at some point there would be a flavor or texture I could embrace. Sometimes a salsa could be a game changer. But not in this case, as the salsa was even more bland and tasteless than the chicken burrito. so there's no need to worry about spicy food here, you will love it. I'm not sure if it's my imagination or if it was really there, but occasionally I would get a hint of char taste from the barbecue. The most redeeming quality of the plate is the small, 2 tablespoons of salad, or seasoned lettuce with some tomatoes and onions. That's if that's what you want to call it. I also had 3 chip pieces which weren't so bad. Oh, the effort to pick 3 broken chips from the bag and toss them into the container is admirable. Such an attention to detail and 3 is a lucky number. The roasted jalapeño, which makes me not take for granted a roasted jalapeño anymore either. It tased like a roasted jalapeño and I was pleasantly surprised. I would consider it a skill to be able to produce such a bland tasting, texture cringing, morsel. Not on the menu and no price: chicken burrito Chicken tacos Chicken fajitas Tri tip plate Chicken quesadilla My burrito was 12.58 after tax I'm very fortunate to get a chance to come and try the chicken here. It gives me a new baseline for grilled chicken. It was pollo Sonora, and google shows the new name and old pictures and reviews, don't be fooled. I'd give it one star, but at this point, I really doubt they're gonna be around much longer after I even post this. Unless there's some amazing restaurant rescue.“
“Before moving to SFV, my bf and I would go out to find something to eat, during one of those days we passed in front of this place, we had to make a U turn, the smell of charbroiled chicken was inviting us to go try it, the chicken was delicious, I bought an extra chicken so my family could try it and they too loved it. I have tried the ribs, but for some reason every time the meat was super hard, and didn't even have barbecue sauce, I gave up and no longer order ribs, only the chicken, it has yet to disappoint me. The staff is friendly and they are quick.“
“10/10 vegan food - honestly one of the best things I've ever had and not exaggerating!!!Though it's not very clear from their in-store or online menus, this place DOES have extensive vegan options. They have a relatively new street sign that says "vegan" and when I went inside, they explained that just about anything that is listed as chicken on the menu can be swamped out with fried/breaded cauliflower (and they also swap out the mayo, honey, etc. with vegan replacements). My wife and I split the Nashville chicken wrap and the portion was so big that we didn't even finish it in one sitting. Everything was 10 out of 10. There were just delicious flavors...the sauces were next level, the cauliflower was cooked absolutely perfectly, the breaded part of the wrap was grilled and just enough to keep it wrapped and you barely noticed the bread part because they don't cheat you out of a super-stuffed filling. The waffle fries were freshly made and perfect.Based on my first impression of their menu, I thought perhaps they just had a couple vegan items they threw on there just to cater (which is nice of any establishment - not complaining :) ), but here they really, really actually care about making a delicious meal. I will definitely come back here to get the Nashville chicken wrap vegan version as well as other vegan variations on their other items.I hope this review will bring others who are looking for a vegan meal because unfortunately - as of writing this - I don't see any other reviews on their Yelp page for their vegan items, but rest assured you won't be disappointed! If people didn't already know by now...vegan food can be delicious. All food - vegan or non-vegan, obviously just comes down to the way it's cooked and the flavors and this chicken-based establishment proves that. It's also nice that they're open so late every day!“
“Not just spicy but fresh and crisp made-to-order hot chicken and wings. I normally don’t dip but their house sauce was an irresistible compliment to the chicken. Cole slaw was simple and snappy which balanced the intensity of the other flavors. Portions are generous. Personable staff. Definitely will be returning.“
“Classic fried chicken that is a lot better than fast food! Perfectly cooked -- crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The price might be a bit higher but the cuts are huge and you get a generous amount of meat on the bones. The potato salad is awesome! This is located where the old Black Bottom restaurant was. Enjoyed their food then and still enjoying it now. No dine in yet but hoping to see them open it up soon -- I imagine it would even be better served straight from the fryer ?“
“Wow, I discovered this place by accident cuz I had the intention of dining in a nearby restaurant but it was closed. Since I was already very hungry, I decided to give this place a try and I was glad I did. Definitely a hole in the wall in this part of NoHo, this place has minimal decorations and a few tables and chairs for dining customers. I ordered three tacos, asada, pollo and pastor. I loved each one of them. Definitely tasted very authentic, I thought for a second I was in Mexico. I'm hoping to drop by again soon cuz I want to try the charbroiled chicken which looks like is the specialty here.“
“Awesome service ! Quick , clean , great staff that makes you feel like home ! I love the fact that they are not rush you, they even make suggestions if you're not sure about your order. The place is clean which is very important for customers like Me . Overall great experience !!!!“
“Went for lunch yesterday with my wife and went to the counter and ( Leo the manager (whom I just met) Leo was super friendly and helpful, he took our order for two "Sweet Corn double chicken bowls (manager Leo was so efficient, and kind; everything you could ask for in an employee. Our meals were absolutely delicious. We will be going back to this El Pollo Loco again ! Manger Leo was later in the lobby asking customers (including us) if everything was okay; Wow this means a lot to people; good old fashioned we care attitude. Employees their were smiling and helpful. Thank you for such good food and service. see you folks again soon. Paul & Anita“
“I love the chicken and Ube Pie here at JOLLIBEE....I ordered 3 pieces of chicken w 2 sides and a drink. However I asked for the adobo rice. The cashier failed to tell me that is was an upgrade, so she just charged me anyways.... There is no where indicated what sides I can get on the JOLLIBEE display menu.SO WHEN I GOT MY ORDER....they gave me 3 steak burgers with gravy and mushrooms, you can see from the pictures below.I am very dissapointed and unsatisfied with their communication and level of service. I was so hungry I didn’t make a big deal and just eat my food....JOLLIBEE has great chicken but service was bad at this location.“
“I'm a big Korean fan from kdrama to ayce bbq to their fried chicken. I've seen this chain in a lot of kdramas. So every time there is a bb.q near my house, I make it a point to order from them. Of course the fried chicken are very good. My faves are the soy garlic and honey garlic. Also the kimchi rice in this branch is really good. You should try it.“
“This is one of my favorite restaurants, all the food is very fresh, they serve it very quickly, my family loves visiting this free-range chicken in Panorama City, the staff is very friendly and congratulations ? to all the staff, everything with great excellence.“
“I go to a lot of Pollo Locos, but this is my favorite. Their service and food is amazing. I’m a drive-through guy Cityboy.Dietary restrictions: I started out, eating the burritos, now I eat the double chicken fit bowl . I’ve lost 60 pounds eating the Pollo Loco diet started out with the burrito and ended up with the salad. Try Kelly“
“Understaffed, but nice service & have a dedicated worker working 12/23/23 @2pm. I always order the Richie Rich Fries which is sharable for 2-4 people it's my bf and I's Go-To. We usually have to wait about 15 min slower days today 40min... but worth waiting for me, order ahead! Food was DELICIOUS always, i would definitely recommend!(:“
“I frequent this location for lunch 3 to 4 days out of the week. the customer service, hospitality, and food are always exceptional. the manager, Juanita and staff are always welcoming and caring when it comes to providing good service with my order. Not to mention that if you frequent the location often, they will remember your name which is amazing. I have been to many El Pollo Loco locations and I must say this one is number one on my list so if you think about coming to this location, just know that you’re making a good choice not only for the food you will have, but the customer service you will receive as well.“
“Loved everything but the price! We ate at the Jolibee in Delano. Our food was fresh and delicious. Nice and hot. Husband got 6 piece chicken with gravy. I had chicken sandwich and small spaghetti. And of course we had 2 peach-mango pies. Those pies are addictive..lol Any way I would definitely recommend eating there. The price was $34.74 for the above mentioned food items.“
“We were very pleased with our experience this evening! We went through the drive through and not only had fast and friendly service, but also great food. I ordered the Classic Chicken Burrito. My husband ordered the Tinga burrito; each was delicious. Thank you!“
