“I don't have pictures of food as I was very hungry I went to Union ave location Place is small but clean food is amazing, fresh and hot. I always order here the plater with chicken and beef kabab with rice . I have never got disappointed from food or customer service. You should give it try“
“The place is very casual, but the food is extraordinary! Lamb chops and salmon shashlik were heavenly good! Soft, juicy, tasty! And eggplant puree was very delicious! The place is definitely worth coming to! I wish owners would decorate it cozier. The owners deserve a lot of praise as well, kinda, attentive, friendly. All in all, we will definitely come again, though there are place closer to us, but don't want to get disappointed with inferior food. So, see you soon Ali and his kind wife!“
“Went to Arya Steakhouse for Eid with my family, and it was really nice experience! They were accommodating, especially with our stroller, we were able to be seated outside. The lamb shank I tried was delicious, and so were the rice, garlic fries, and mashed potatoes. My wife loved the chicken kebab. Our server Michael was very nice, always making sure we had enough water, and food arrived at reasonable time. It's a good spot for Eid, all halal and very tasty. I was so full, I joked about needing help to get home. Definitely recommend it.“
“We were lucky to serve Mazzeh food at our event. This is an overdue review, but I am about to put another event order in place. Soraya went above and beyond with her service. Food was absolutely delicious. We had a mix of persian and non-permian guests. Everyone raved about the food at our party, and the good food became part of their memory of the gathering! Soraya was super helpful from day one in deciding on the amount, and also in delivering on time and the setup.“
“For what it is, a low key Persian restaurant in a strip mall, it's surprisingly good. The service was very friendly. Maybe a little too much so. We were asked about 6 times if we wanted anything else. But overall a very pleasant surprise because the food was great. The ambiance is fine. Not sure why they close at 7:30 that's just way too early“
“This restaurant never disappoints! The food is superb, and Grace and her team go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Their personalized service is a standout feature, making guests feel valued and appreciated. Additionally, the availability of covered parking in the back alleviates any parking worries. Whether it's a casual lunch or a formal business dinner, this place ticks all the boxes for a fantastic dining outing!“
“List of Items ordered:Baghali Polo (Lamb Shank) (Entree)2x Koobideh (Beef) Skewer plate (Entree)Chicken Skewer plate (Entree)Dolma (Appetizer)Baklava (Dessert)Total: About $131For the location of the place, it was a welcome surprise with the atmosphere. It felt like upscale dining and the service was wonderful. They were very attentive, and eye contact alone will get their attention to serve you. Although the menu may seem pricey, the portions they give you absolutely make up for the prices and more. Entree plates are about 8-9 inches in diameter and are full with rice, a light salad and roasted vegetables, including your choice of protein of course. The Chicken skewer plate came with 2 skewer lengths that were taken off the skewer and were juicy. I was under the impression that a barbeque style of cook dries out the chicken but however they cook it, it's perfection. My colleagues enjoyed the fact that the lamb shank easily fell off the bone and the Koobideh plate was just juicy. We later asked if we could add a to-go Koobideh plate to our order and it was out to us in the next 10 minutes. Definitely will be coming back to eat at this hidden gem with more friends.“
“I've been coming here since it was in the old building. Consistent recipes, bursting with flavor. Food has actually gotten ever better. Rice is fluffy and they put the crispy rice on top. We always get a bunch of chicken and steak. Add some Shirazi salad with dressing on it. Great for a crowd. The grocery store attached is worth a wander and has things you can't find anywhere else. It's just a fun place to visit and locals are lucky to have it.“
“The Koobideh is as best as the Bazar in Tehran. One of the highest quality in the bay area I have ever experienced. It is juicy and tasteful. We ordered for a party of +25 people and we did pick up the order ( they offer a delivery for a fee, which sound like a good deal too, but we had a friend nearby who picked it up for us).The process of ordering was very smooth, we stopped by and talked with the manager. He was very helpful and explained all the options for the order, and even helped us to itemize our order to get a better deal! The day of pickup, they did a great job in packing. We received separated trays( Aluminum trays, we move the food to our own chafing later) of koobideh, grilled tomatos&jalapeños, rice and bread and Sabzi! ( big amount of fresh basil and mint!). There were also a bowl of Sumac. Although it was a 20 minutes drive from the restaurant to our place, the food was still pretty hot!All our guests loved the food, and we were very happy to have chosen Yas for our Fiesta!“
“I decided to hold my Mom's celebration of life according to the Iranian tradition at the Stone Stew restaurant. I talked with the owner, Naseem. She promised to create an ambiance worthy of my Mom and she did not disappoint! The food, service and attention to details were top notch. I didn't have to do anything; the package she offered contained all the food items that our tradition required. I'd like to thank Naseem for the wonderful work she and her team did to celebrate my Mom's life!“
“One of the best Persian restaurants in the area. We absolutely loved the food. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We didn’t make a reservation but since we went early around 6pm, we were able to get a table immediately. We can't wait to return for delicious food!“
