“I've lived in the area since 1968 and this place has been a real pleasure for deli sandwiches and liquor and other needs. They really do have some great sandwiches great well made perfect the best and that's what this place is known for. They also have a large variety of wine and other hard liquor and of course “
“Still sitting here eating and had to write this. Riera's special sub is incredible, and they carry Zapp'a chips. My fav! What stood out though was the service. Guy at the counter couldn't be nicer to me and everyone that walked in. 10/10 all around!“
“I woke up craving Spaghetti and Meatballs..and found this place.. Ordered a full pastrami sandwich and spaghetti and meatballs..Upon arrival, i realized that I have been in this place before, about 25 years ago or so.The spaghetti and meatballs was phenomenal, with 3 meatballs, and sauce to spaghetti ratio on point.Pastrami sandwich had the perfect moisture and flavor, just the right amount of mustard, would have like a bit more pickles but still a great sandwich.I hate that I didn't get the names of those who attended to me, but 100% great customer service.Safe to say. This is going to be a must go to for me at least once a month..“
“There aren't many sub shops/deli's in LA. As someone from NJ, I've missed having local sub/sandwich shops all around me. Found this place today, and it's my new favorite local sub shop. The owners are very friendly, the food is authentic and well priced, and the service is quick. I will definitely be coming back to try the salads. If you're in the area and looking for an East Coast style sub, please support these lovely people!“
“We stopped in here on the way back from a hike and were pleasantly surprised by this place. The scones are so good, pretty much perfect in texture! We had a latte and an Americano, both decaf and they were good. Service was fast and polite. We will return.“
“Solid collection of sandwiches - one of the tastiest in the area. I've tried the tuna and beach blanket - both were epic. If you like fresh bread with quality ingredients look no further. They also bring in cheeses like brie and other mixes to make tasty twists on your normal sandwiches. The cooks and counter attendants are polite and cool to talk with. You can eat outside at the tables, enjoying some fresh beach breezes and people watching. Parking can be tougher, but it's easy to find something within a block.“
“What a great small but cozy deli this place is, places like these are what make me happy. As soon as my family and I came in I was greeted by nonetheless proud owner Hugo, what an amazing guy he is! As a first timer I always appreciate suggestions, and therefore I was recommended a Turkey Havarti and let me tell you it was nothing less than Exceptional! My wife and I really enjoyed the Pesto sauce and the panini was perfectly toasted as well. My wife and I tried both the potato salad and the macaroni salad and on the side we added a Caprese Salad*** I enjoyed both as well but I preferred the Macaroni salad. The Caprese Salad on the other hand was a star on its own, from the fresh mozzarella to the balsamic vinaigrette dressing, I was pretty impressed! I will definitely be back to try their Tri-Tip sandwich but I'm pretty convinced it's gonna be very hard to beat the Turkey Harvarti. See you Soon again Hugo and thank you for maintaining a well establishment with delicious food, we walked in as hungry customers and left as even happier full ones.“
