“I finally tried the sandwich I've been thinking about, pastrami, my favorite among them all! Even though I've had tastier pastrami sandwiches in different styles, this old-school pastrami is delicious too! When I'm in LA, I'll definitely have it again!“
“Heard it gets busy but it was not too busy for Monday lunch rush. Ordered a number 1 and could not finish it despite being super yummy. Mom and Pop dinner feel and the service was excellent and attentive. This is definitely a special treat sandwich when you're dying for some meat. Will definitely go back.Dietary restrictions: Had lots of dairy-free options which was a bonus.“
“A favorite of mine. Beautiful, thoughtfully crafted and big wide open space with indoor and outdoor dining.Great staff. I love the groceries they carry along with the natural wine corner. There's an awesome book aisle as well. But the food...consistent and delicious.Pizza, burgers, short rib plates, wings, salad, breakfast burritos...SO TASTY!They have coffee, ice cream, beer, wine, etc.“
“Meals and memories are made here at Bianca’s deli. Bianca’s deli (est 1983) is a small Mediterranean deli cafe in East Hollywood. They serve fresh, healthy salads, wraps, sandwiches, panini and pasta. Furthermore, they offer good breakfast and coffee. They provide exceptional service and food. I came here over Lunch and ordered a Grilled chicken salad and a Pasta Primavera. Food was fresh and satisfying; portions were abundant for their modest price. Staff were assiduous, caring and professional.Overall, I enjoyed their service and food. I highly recommend this deli.“

“Wow, what great sandwiches! Very popular, you get what you pay for; fresh ingredients and top on the line ingredients... always a go-to when I'm working in L.A. You can not eat at this location, and parking to pickup is sometimes hectic but so worth it!“
“Tucked away on the western side of Vine Street, just below Fountain Ave, resides The Vine Street Deli. With dozens of choices between entrée, sandwiches, coffees, teas, smoothies, and more, I decided to go for a goat cheese and chicken sandwich and an eggplant dip as starter. Both of them were phenomenal dishes. I ate and cleaned and scraped the bottom of the plates to savor those rich flavors one more time. Not only was my hunger more than satiated, but I was left satisfied, and elated of the foods I just consumed. The lady working, which I assume was the owner of the place, was kind and welcoming. The warm lights, wooden staircase, loft, and furniture, give the place a relaxing, charming, and quite atmosphere. This was my first time there, but it surely won't be the last.“
“I was looking for a deli in Encino to go to after my doctor's appointment, Uncle Bernie's DID NOT disappointment! I had THE BEST Monte Cristo sandwich! I also had exceptional potato pancakes. My husband loved his Maria burrito. A fine example of a New York deli.Parking: I was here at noon on a Thursday. There was ample parking, but shares with other businesses.“
“Canter’s Deli is an LA classic and a must visit for anyone who loves that old school deli feel. All the staples are on the menu and the old timey look of the inside rounds out the experience. Food is very solid if not a bit overpriced. Bakery is by weight for a lot of items so expect to pay more than you think. Parking is free in the lot next to the building if you are eating. Service isn’t the best on most of our visits, but the people watching makes up for it!“
“Tasty Banh Mis. I always get the sardine along with either the pork or chicken. All made fresh to order. They include a small au jus of the specific Banh Mi you order-nice touch. ? Parking is a challenge since it right on Hyperion so if you see a spot, take it.“
“There aren't many sub shops/deli's in LA. As someone from NJ, I've missed having local sub/sandwich shops all around me. Found this place today, and it's my new favorite local sub shop. The owners are very friendly, the food is authentic and well priced, and the service is quick. I will definitely be coming back to try the salads. If you're in the area and looking for an East Coast style sub, please support these lovely people!“
“Don't underestimate this little bodega! Their quality and service is top tier. The man who works in the morning is the sweetest and works quickly! The everything bagels are my favorite and their matcha is perfect!!! Sandwiches are amazing too. Love everything about this place.“
“This is my go-to place for anything related to Italian cuisine. Any authentic Italian ingredient; they will have. Also, their lasagna might the best I've had in LA. I'm from NYC, and place makes me feel like I'm Little Italy in Manhattan.“
“I've been wanting to come here since I work up the street and yay!! So glad I did! My go to lunch spot. I can't wait to try out all the cool chips! The lady at the front is super attentive and quick and the sandwich guy is nice and cute :) thanks guys!!“
“Stopped here for breakfast while I'm at Saint Josephs Hospital. I liked the food, it was tasty. What I liked most about the place was the friendliness, my English is not very good and I appreciate when they make an effort to understand me in Spanish.“
“I recommend 100%Our servers were friendly and smiling. They even made an effort to take the order in French. The apple cinnamon tart is excellent and the iced latte and ice tea are very good (Be careful, it's a real tea without sugar.)The waiter was really very nice, offering me a second coffee that he had left over. The portions are very generous.“
“I wandered by abnd was quickly greeted by server. She asked what i would like before I was seated... I went with the lule plate and a drink. I was served rather quick. I was rewarded with a fragrant plate. The server warned me the hot sauce is spicy. Of course this the first thing I tried haha. She was not lying it had a good kick to it. The meat was juicy flavorful, and bit pink? I was ok with that. The bread was delicious. The only thing I was disapointed was the plastic cutlery. 1/3 into the meal poink! the fork break cutting the lule. Luckily there was enough of the handle to continue. I finished up and paid inside and left a happy camper.“
“This is officially my new favorite sandwich spot in DTLA. Tucked inside the St. Vincent alley (which itself is something special for a later review), you'll find a deli market with a nice assortment of Armenian treats and friendly staff who actually helped me pick out my first two items: the house pastrami sandwich and my personal favorite, the Soujouk sandwich. Get this! The Soujouk sandwich is made with this fantastic Armenian sausage, cheese, and tomato on a perfectly toasted French roll that had the right amount of crunchy and fluffy bite. Five out of five stars for this little gem.“
“One of the best bagel/lox platters I've had on either coast. Cozy environment, clean surfaces and very good coffee. Can only speak to breakfast but the breakfast sandwich and waffle my party also ordered were all excellent. Not too busy at 8am on a Monday - a great experience and I will be happy to return and test their lunch/dinner options.Parking: Shopping center with 3 hour limit but plenty of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Cozy booths, good sized kids menu.“
“I'm always able to find fresh produce, friendly cashiers, overall clean store, and good food. A few of the employees can be replaced with friendlier and more approachable employees. Bakery items are most always great, BBQ meet fresh, and wonderful to go food.“
“Delicious! Perfectly balanced sandwich, the bagel itself was so soft! We got the smoked salmon on cheese and jalapeño bagel. I had never tasted a bagel that didn't feel a bit dense. It was perfection. Don't turn away when you see the long line! It's worth it and The staff is amazing, friendly and attentive, they also have a real sense of urgency to get your order out asap. Will be back again! No picture because it was too damn good to pause to take one!“
“First timer. Got the turkey club. Great sandwich. They had march madness playing so i could see myself coming here at night to watch and have a bite. Had a weird situation in the parking lot and the server assisted me promptly. 5 stars for me. Will be back.“
“Grade A (95): St Vincent Deli, is my favorite restaurant in the alley. I can't believe how much food comes out of this tiny little restaurant. They have Shawerma (gyros style) but tastes amazing. They have fresh home made food as a feature every day. I specially love Thursdays (Kufteh) which is ground beef kebab in small finger like shape in tomato sauce and fries (delicious). The alley is an Historic and cozy Alley with hidden gems as restaurants.“
“So I finally found this place that was recommended to me. I got a breakfast burrito and it was delicious. The flavors were amazing and staff and service was quick. When i got there it was a handful of ppl but the most I waited was like 10 mins so it wasn't bad. It's a cool lil spot and I will most definitely become a regular when am in the area. Thank you guys and see you again soon..“
“Literally the best pastrami sandwich I've ever eaten. Hands down beats anything else you'll try in LA. Ask for the Papa the next time you're there and you'll be in sandwich bliss for the remainder of the day. Seriously delicious!“
“I was really hungry for something heathy ish and stopped by for their spicy turkey wrap + my boyfriend got the breakfast burrito. the turkey wrap was awesome but the best part was the gentlemen at the front. he was so sweet and made our experience great. we didn't catch his name, sadly, but we'll be back soon! edit: the entire staff was very friendly. both gentlemen behind the counter were very friendly and welcoming.“
“I’ve been going to this store for a while now and it never disappoints! The most amazing variety of fresh food and bakery. They have delicious cakes too!The owners are two sisters from Mariupol and the store is pro Ukrainian not like a lot of neighborhood “Eastern European” stores so if you want to show support, shop here! Stuff is always nice and helpful! And try their delicious borsch ?Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options, my husband is vegan and he likes couple of Theo salads and their vegan borsch!“
“We were very happy we stopped in for lunch. The chopped liver appetizer and the tongue and pastrami sandwich were fantastic. The matzo ball soup was somewhat disappointing (but I am somewhat spoiled with a lifetime of fantastic, homemade soup) that had a ridiculously humongous matzo ball. The "light lunch for one" combo was enough food for an entire day and anything but light!“
“This place has a new owner and they are upgrading. The sandwich’s are excellent and a lot bigger than before but is still the same price as before. Also if you need iPhone or Samsung chargers, this is the place to go. This place is 100% convenient. Also the hours have changed. Everyday the hours are 8am-10pm Mon-Sat and Sun 8am-9pm.“
“I love to come here, the figs and pigs sandwich is amazing, also the chicken milanesa and all their counter salads/pastas are very fresh and delicious. And great service too, specially the girl that took our order last night, she was super nice. Thanks!“
“What a neighborhood gem! A great little store with a good deli counter, a nice selection of candy and basic grocery items. It's got a nice relaxed vibe, friendly staff and a beautiful back patio and a pizza oven setup! Will definitely be coming back with friends for pizza night.“
