“Wow!!! Little pricey but worth every penny! One of the best sandwich I had in a very long time. I mean, the store looked so so, the interior was ok, the exterior was ok... wasn't expecting much... but oh boy was I wrong! Had the pastrami and it was amazing, I live two hours away from this place and I will definitely go back!“
“I have been wanting to try their food for over 25 years. I heard about them from weatherman Mark Kristi from KTLA morning news. When we could not find a reservation for Christmas dinner, we decided to pick up food from Corsica deli. We had chicken Parmesan, stuffed shells, vegetarian lasagna with Alfredo sauce, and we couldn’t leave without some cannolis stuffed with Nutella. The meal was absolutely out of this world on Christmas Day. It was better than anything we could have gotten from any restaurant. I cannot wait to go back and try some of the other items , I am very excited to try their sandwiches as well. We did have some sticker shock with the prices, but after eating the meal, it was worth every penny. You do realize that you do have to pay for quality. The place definitely reminds me of the traditional Italian delis from back home in New York. It was definitely well worth the drive from Glendale to pick it up. Merry Christmas everyone“
“Marie's Cafe is a quaint little shop within walking distance of many hotels. The customer service was great when we went. The breakfast options were really good and filling. It was really hard to make a choice on what to get. The place had an established feel but is welcoming. I would definitely visit again.“

I don't do coffee or smoothies so can't speak to them, but they sell well apparently. “DeFranko’s is an OG sandwich stop in the valley. They have been around for over 50 years. It’s a little hole in the wall stop with no indoor dining but they have a few tables and chairs outside with a very small parking lot.The service was just okay. They definitely get a lot of orders in person and over the phone. There was a line out the door. I recommend calling ahead because they do get busy!I got the Italian sub for my parents who were in town and a chicken salad for me. The chicken salad was just okay. After reading more reviews, I wish I had gone with the pastrami because that one seems most popular. My parents enjoyed their sandwich but wish it had more meet inside.I will definitely come back again by calling in and trying something new.“
“What a gem! Can't believe I've never had Phillipe's French Dip being an LA native, but I'm so happy that I finally did! The line can be out the door, but it is constantly moving. I'd say wait time from just outside their front door is a good 30 minutes or so. My husband and I ordered everything to share: -I asked what the original French Dip was and how it was made. It is the Beef Dip, double-dipped on a French Roll. This was good, but I would add cheese next time & get extra au jus dip on the side!! -Hubby ordered the NY Pastrami Dip w/ Jack, double-dipped on a French Roll. This was the FAVORITE. We would just order the extra au jus dip on the side next time. -Pickled Egg, the famous ones in the beet red/purple jars. We got one to try and it was surprisingly good! -Kosher Dill Pickle, is it even a French dip sandwich experience without this?! hahah -Potato Salad was delicious and a nice palate cleanser from all the meats & pickled goodies. -For dessert we ordered the Tapioca Pudding, one of my husband's favorites! Order & pay at the counter. They make your sandwich and grab everything on your order and give you a tray. Grab a table. Try their hot mustard on the table if you like horseradish! We loved adding some to our bites with the sandwiches. They have their own parking lot directly behind and across from the restaurant. Restrooms are clean. Service is fairly quick & there's always staff standing by ready to buss the tables.“
“One of the best hot chicken joints in LA and iv tried them all, the chicken is so fresh, tender n juicy you just want more n more. Staff is very friendly, it's a family owned and operated business and you can tell they really care about the food and the service. “Tried this place with my mom today for the first time after passing this place the past 4 years lol. Parking was easy at 2pm, gentleman that assisted us was very courteous. I had the sweet November with fries she had the harvest nut with side salad and WOWWWWW mouth watering just full of flavor, you can tell the ingredients are high quality. “One of the best sandwich spots in LA. I come here at least twice a week (or to the slauson location). The only sandwich shop that offers turkey pastrami and its fantastic. All their offerings are great as I tried everything on the menu. Highly recommended and great for lunch. I sometimes order two sandwiches so I can eat it after work as well.“
“We discovered Monroe Place about six months ago but have been back about six times. It's not close to our home but it's a favorite and worth the drive. We tried most of the sandwiches and like them all (most of the sandwich offerings have a meat version and a similarly made but vegetarian version). The bread type for each sandwich is specified by the restaurant. It sounds a bit restrictive but works out well. The potato chips are excellent and the drinks are distinctive and tasty (I like the cardamon iced tea and my wife likes the cucumber mint lemonade). The sandwiches are good sized. There are a lot of dining options in our area but this is our go-to sandwich option.“

“Betty and her team catered a very special dinner at my house and then a pool party / brunch the next day. This was the single best experience with a caterer I’ve had in all my party planning years — great food, super collaborative (and helpful) planning, highly tailored and themed menu with tremendous creativity and a BLAST having them serve the party. The themed menu and decor were the literal talk of the party and all my friends are following up asking for her contact info. Simply fanstastic.“
“Based on the perfection of the "WEHO" sandwich I had today, I'm giving this spot a solid 5 stars! This turkey sando with avocado was made to order with a pressed panini style bread which totally worked, packed with fresh ingredients, and not skimping on the boars head turkey. Proportions were spot on, the gentleman behind the counter could not have been friendlier, and scored a parking spot right in front. This spot is a win for me, can't wait to come back for more!“

“The staff are super friendly and accommodating! I asked for the Banh mi op la— the basic egg banh mi with sambal. However I didn’t expect to get a deconstructed banh mi! It was a funny mishap. All of the ingredients are super fresh and yummy (some assembly is required). Definitely wanna go back and try out the lemongrass tofu!“
“This is everything a Vietnamese sandwich shop should be. #1 or #3, iced coffee, a produce box on top of a milk crate for seating, and soap operas on the tele. It's a food stall. Nothing more, nothing less. Walked out of there with 3 Bahn Mis, iced coffee, and a soda for $25 (not including tip; don't forget to tip). “This is definitely the best Basturma and Soujouk sandwich shop around, and there's a lot of history behind it. Service is great, it's a family owned business led by a husband and wife team. Charming and old-school atmosphere inside, it's a small local shop with a lot of Armenian and Mediterranean products and one long table in the middle. “Yummmmmmyyyy! It’s the office go to now! Salmon Salad, Club sandwich and pesto chicken are the common orders. Everything is prepared fresh and the bread is so perfect. The Club in my opinion is so flavorful and is my favorite. Comes with a side salad with vinaigrette and feta sprinkled with mandarins and is the perfect touch. Perfect proportion. Ordered over the phone as it was a large order and the customer service on the call was fantastic. They def took the time to be sure the order was right. The man at the counter (presumably the owner?) helped me open my new charger and showed me where to plug it in and my food came out super quick, all of which helped me feel more at ease. “I just love the service at this particular location. Every time I am craving a quality sandwich and want something healthy, Mendocino Farms is the spot for me. I'm obsessed with the not so fried chicken sandwich dipped in the BBQ sauce with a side of basil pesto shells. Delicious! They really need to make this particular side dish permanent and not seasonal. I tried the spicy dijon potato salad and I would say it's a hit too, it does have a small kick to it though. I will occasionally get the Peruvian steak if I do want a beef sandwich. Food is always consistent whether I get it on the apps or dine in. Check this place out! “The sandwiches are to die for. They use the freshest ingredients and it feels as though the sandwiches are made with love. I love eating a Banh Mi and although their interpretation is not traditional. It is really a home run and worth a try. I had trouble paying as my Apple Pay wasn't working. The guy working the register was so kind to me and said they can give one free sandwich per a day to those in need or whatever. It was my lucky night. I don't like to owe or receive hand outs. I returned with cash the next day I worked in that area. I offered to pay for the sandwich and he remembered me, but they couldn't accept the money because it would affect the till. I was insisting to give them the money to make it right. So the manager said that I could put it in the tip jar if I'd like and that's what I did. I'm not looking for praise or anything. This is what happened. I was really touched by their kindness and generosity. I will be sure to patronize this restaurant again and bring my wallet next time in case I mess up using Apple Pay again“

“Cute little sandwich shop that I've heard much about but never went to before this past week. I ordered the Louis Good -- their buffalo chicken sandwich. The homemade "Italian buffalo" sauce stood out more than anything, though I still do not know what makes Italian buffalo different than New York buffalo. It did have a slightly different taste and it wasn't as saucy as their American cousin. Sandwich was a bit on the smaller side with more lettuce than anything else. Still pretty good, though not super stand out“

“Haven't had Which Wich? in Years due to nearby locations closing / completely forgetting about the chain.. but after a reminder through old photos, I did some research & was pleasantly surprised to find that their nearest store is 10ish miles away from me, on Hollywood Blvd. My Experience: 7.5/5 Shafkat, alongside being Wonderfully Kind & displaying Selfless Hospitality, presented to me today what was By Far THE BEST Italian hoagie I've had in Years.. So Good in fact that I'm going to start making the trip over the hill every weekend for my once again Favorite, Superior sandwich on this planet. There used to be one in Monterey Park which made picking up a sandwich from them a tad more convenient. I think I would be going more regularly if they were closer.
