“This is everything a Vietnamese sandwich shop should be. #1 or #3, iced coffee, a produce box on top of a milk crate for seating, and soap operas on the tele. It's a food stall. Nothing more, nothing less. Walked out of there with 3 Bahn Mis, iced coffee, and a soda for $25 (not including tip; don't forget to tip). Actually, I walked out without anything because...soaps operas. Just left with a memory of what I wish I had at home“

“Service was fantastic and the wait wasn't too long at all!! I got the chopped cheese sandwich, fries, & the black sesame oat milk espresso beverage. Chopped cheese - this was delicious!! The taste reminded me a lot of In N Out just with a more hardy bread. I only ate half so thought it was very filling. At $16 it felt pricey but since I took half home I didn't mind!! Criss Cut Fries - this was your typical fry, I enjoyed them but wouldn't get again for $6. Black Sesame Bev - This had a really unique flavor profile but ultimately was just too sweet for me. I'm glad I tried it but would get something stronger next time! I'd like to go back and try a different sandwich! I think I'd only get the chopped cheese again if I was in a real want for a fast food cheeseburger feeling.“

“One of my very favorite restaurants:) The owners Mark and Lena are very committed to creating healthy dishes with quality ingredients. All of the produce here is farmers market fresh daily and pretty much everything else including meat, honey etc. is sourced from top quality vendors that they have established relationships with. If you've never had Danish food before the flavors may not be what your used to, but I promise your pallet will adjust and it is delicious and high quality!!“

“Very good pastrami dip, from the videos I thought it would be more stacked but it was fine, nice pickle slice with order, we also got a brisket sandwich, my father complained it was very greasy but had a great flavor, if I ever come back I will try the pastrami on rye it looked wonderful ✌️“

“Philippe’s Original is one of those rare gems that are few and far between these days. This is a restaurant that stands on generations of good family management, and service to the Los Angeles community. It is an experience not to be missed. But besides the wonderful beef, pork, and lamb dip sandwiches (all of which I highly recommend, and have already been extensively reviewed), Philippe’s has some other great menu items as well. For example: their beef stew, chili, and soups of the day are excellent, and a great alternative to sandwiches on cold and rainy days. I’m also a big fan of their tuna sandwich and chicken Caesar salad, and I never pass on some sliced pickles and beets. I even like Philippes as a place to just meet friends for coffee and dessert. They always have a big selection of fresh pies; the banana cream is my favorite. Highly recommend If you're looking to use the services of a professional cyber security consultant, I would recommend McRae investigations firm mcraespy at outlook dot com for professional investigative services like acquiring information for divorce or court cases, kids phone tracking and monitoring, pet surveillance, retrieve lost or stolen digital assets, data, track & monitor a vehicle and loads more.“

“Based on the perfection of the "WEHO" sandwich I had today, I'm giving this spot a solid 5 stars! This turkey sando with avocado was made to order with a pressed panini style bread which totally worked, packed with fresh ingredients, and not skimping on the boars head turkey. Proportions were spot on, the gentleman behind the counter could not have been friendlier, and scored a parking spot right in front. This spot is a win for me, can't wait to come back for more!“

“Great, very casual breakfast and lunch restaurant very close to LAX. We arrived home very late and stayed overnight at the LAX Hyatt regency. The Original Rinaldi's is on the same side of the street and less than one block from the Hyatt Regency. We did not want an expensive hotel breakfast. Walked in to Rinaldi's and got a very warm welcome. They have different coffees so we tried the iced Vietnamese coffee in recognition of our completed trip. The coffee was terrific. Breakfast items were fresh, tasty, and healthy. Got a bottle of Langer's OJ to wash it down - cold and refreshing. Chatted with the nice lady that took our order. Excellent way to enjoy a reasonably priced breakfast or lunch near the airport. Or, not a bad idea to pre order food and take it on your flight.“

“I've passed the sandwich, place a couple of times before I finally placed an order for pick up because there's usually a crowd waiting inside when I passed by and I wanted to avoid that long wait. So I placed an order for three sandwiches for me and my department for pick up more than an hour in advance. When I get there, they seem busy, and I let them know that I am picking up an order that I placed online and it took them only a moment to find my order and tell me that it was gonna be another 15 minutes til it was ready. So I wait on one of the seats outside 15 minutes and then go back inside, and my order isn't bagged yet. As I'm waiting, someone else comes up because she had called a correction in to her online order. Yes, this review is a bit tedious, but that's what it was like to get my sandwiches which were delicious by the way. Short story long, order in advance and show up 20 minutes late.“

“My wife one day showed up with this chicken sandwich from your business. After i finished the sandwich i told my wife it was the best sandwich i had in a very long time. The bread has really good taste but the seasoning and flavor the chicken has is remarkable. I will tell everyone i know to visit your establishment recommend to everyone thank you.“

“One of the best sandwich spots in LA. I come here at least twice a week (or to the slauson location). The only sandwich shop that offers turkey pastrami and its fantastic. All their offerings are great as I tried everything on the menu. Highly recommended and great for lunch. I sometimes order two sandwiches so I can eat it after work as well.“

“Love the Lokal Dac Biet Banh Mi (Old Skool) and their milk tea with boba. They always hit the spot! Everything is super consistent and tasty. Their milk tea boba is actually just as good as a boba shop. I got less sweet and less ice — it was perfect. There are two types of Dac biet you can get, one has more toppings like pork floss and more meat while the other is a more basic Dac biet. Read the description before you order to make sure you get the one you want. Chicken is also good. They have other food items too like sandwiches and pancakes. I just haven’t checked them out because I always get the banh mi — and honestly I don’t think I will. Nothing wrong on their part but the banh mi is too good and always exactly what I want. Most of the banh mi comes with mayo, pate, or both. They’re not always listed out when you’re ordering from an app. They allow modifications so just make sure you let them know somehow (either denote it or write it out in the online order text box).“

“Wax Paper Chinatown brings the same excellent sandwiches that you can get in Frogtown to a different part of LA. I usually go to the Frogtown location if I'm craving one of their sandwiches, but if I'm nearby or want a sandwich only offered on the Chinatown menu, then I order from here. There's some seating in the shared hallway area if you decide to dine in, and I've always found the service to be friendly and efficient. The Garth Trinidad is one of my favorite turkey sandwiches, combining a slightly spicy cabbage slaw with roasted turkey and aioli. Just writing about this sandwich makes me think I'm quite overdue for a Wax Paper order!“

“Great pizza Giamelas Atwater Village. They don’t charge you $30 for a pizza so I come here now. Italian sandwich was great too, but i didn’t like that the tomatoes and pickles were diced so every time I’d bite into it everything all came out. Thank you!“

“The sandwiches are to die for. They use the freshest ingredients and it feels as though the sandwiches are made with love. I love eating a Banh Mi and although their interpretation is not traditional. It is really a home run and worth a try. I had trouble paying as my Apple Pay wasn't working. The guy working the register was so kind to me and said they can give one free sandwich per a day to those in need or whatever. It was my lucky night. I don't like to owe or receive hand outs. I returned with cash the next day I worked in that area. I offered to pay for the sandwich and he remembered me, but they couldn't accept the money because it would affect the till. I was insisting to give them the money to make it right. So the manager said that I could put it in the tip jar if I'd like and that's what I did. I'm not looking for praise or anything. This is what happened. I was really touched by their kindness and generosity. I will be sure to patronize this restaurant again and bring my wallet next time in case I mess up using Apple Pay again“

“I've been coming here for so long. This might be the best Vietnamese Sandwich shop in town. It's authentic Vietnamese for sure. They also bake their bread in-house and I've overhead other customers raving about it, sometimes coming in just to buy the bread! Also, try their Vietnamese coffee with your sandwich! I love that they sell other items at the counter in addition to their sandwiches; banh gio, cha lua, banh bot loc, just to name a few. In gacy, I'm craving their food as I'm writing this review! There is indoor seating available, parking is limited but it seems like most customers get their food to go so parking doesn't seem to be an issue.“

“Ordered sandwich delivery from Caviar for my out of town client and myself during a work meeting. I ordered the turkey sandwich and he got the blt. He said it was the best sandwich he’s had in a long time. My turkey sandwich was really really good too. The bread, thin slices of red onion, havarti cheese, sweet ripe tomato and what seemed like high quality turkey meat — it was better than I expected. Portions were good as well. Will def be ordering from here again! Thank you again! ?“

“I just love the service at this particular location. Every time I am craving a quality sandwich and want something healthy, Mendocino Farms is the spot for me. I'm obsessed with the not so fried chicken sandwich dipped in the BBQ sauce with a side of basil pesto shells. Delicious! They really need to make this particular side dish permanent and not seasonal. I tried the spicy dijon potato salad and I would say it's a hit too, it does have a small kick to it though. I will occasionally get the Peruvian steak if I do want a beef sandwich. Food is always consistent whether I get it on the apps or dine in. Check this place out! One hour free parking with validation.“

“Back again for more brunch! This time we tried the Ogden and the Genesse, both delicious! The Ogden is so rich and the hollandaise has this touch of a citrus zest in it that's soooo good! Both are super filling, especially the Ogden. I'm super happy that they're using reusable metal cups for water now and serving their fruit in a small paper boat instead of plastic! Amazing! The guy at the register is STILL great, so welcoming and so helpful. I'm enjoying this spot more and more every time I come!“

“Sometimes I feel like sandwiches are a lost art. They're either way too much or not enough. But not here. Only the best sandwiches come out of Wax Paper's pickup window. Some of LA's best bread blankets fresh white turkey in the Terry Gross. The focaccia is the best! The Steve Julian is in the style of a banh mi. The roast pork inside is shredded and mixed with miso aioli so it finishes like a like tuna salad but way more savory. And the baguette is fantastic. They make magic here, with perfectly balanced sandwiches with just the right amount of just the right ingredients. They make the perfect lunch, but honestly, these are delicious any time of day.“

“Tony's has been a top sandwich spot for me. I don't usually eat sandwiches, but when I do, this place is the best. My top favorite sandwich is the pastrami with avocado. “Betty and her team catered a very special dinner at my house and then a pool party / brunch the next day. This was the single best experience with a caterer I’ve had in all my party planning years — great food, super collaborative (and helpful) planning, highly tailored and themed menu with tremendous creativity and a BLAST having them serve the party. The themed menu and decor were the literal talk of the party and all my friends are following up asking for her contact info. Simply fanstastic.“
“Than Huu makes an excellent Bahn Mi. The baguette is perfect, the ingredients are simple and fresh and there are basically two items on the menu. Bahn Mi and soup; the do have a drink and tea menu as well. The service is very kind, friendly and gracious. “The first time I tried FireHouse I got a Philly Cheese Steak. The meat was cold. I was pissed and vowed never to go again. Then Uber Eats had a sale buy one sub get one free so I got a cold sandwich this time. The Italian (kind of like a Subway cold cut but with Italian dressing and seasoning. Very very good. Even told my mother who also had tried a sub and was not impressed and she got the Italian too for her and my dad bc the sub is huge. She loved it as well so I guess they redeemed themselves with three people.“

“After a long day managing errands I was craving something good and filling. Thus I remembered this sandwich place that I pass occasionally when I head to work. Also I remembered it when my work place served sandwiches for a small party. The restaurant is small and the staff were very nice! First time getting something from here. What I ordered was the Handsome Owl, the sandwich I remembered eating at work. The Handsome Owl with vegan chicken and sour dough bread. I'm not much of a vegetarian person but that was a delicious meal. Got the combo with chips and a drink. Lovely meal ! The bathroom however is very funny. Menu was a bit confusing BUT the staff was extra helpful with my slow a** after a 7hr tournament. Food was great. Got your men/women back there... (winking at you and making you feel like a million dollars after a first degree burn from toasting in the sun). Ordered a fisherman sandwich. Pretty much a tuna sandwich. AMAZING AND REFRESHING. The bean sprouts were the finishing touch on that one. I do wish they would've added one or two more to pickle spears.“
