“This is everything a Vietnamese sandwich shop should be. #1 or #3, iced coffee, a produce box on top of a milk crate for seating, and soap operas on the tele. It's a food stall. Nothing more, nothing less. Walked out of there with 3 Bahn Mis, iced coffee, and a soda for $25 (not including tip; don't forget to tip). Actually, I walked out without anything because...soaps operas. Just left with a memory of what I wish I had at home“

“Service was fantastic and the wait wasn't too long at all!! I got the chopped cheese sandwich, fries, & the black sesame oat milk espresso beverage. Chopped cheese - this was delicious!! The taste reminded me a lot of In N Out just with a more hardy bread. I only ate half so thought it was very filling. At $16 it felt pricey but since I took half home I didn't mind!! Criss Cut Fries - this was your typical fry, I enjoyed them but wouldn't get again for $6. Black Sesame Bev - This had a really unique flavor profile but ultimately was just too sweet for me. I'm glad I tried it but would get something stronger next time! I'd like to go back and try a different sandwich! I think I'd only get the chopped cheese again if I was in a real want for a fast food cheeseburger feeling.“

“Philippe’s Original is one of those rare gems that are few and far between these days. This is a restaurant that stands on generations of good family management, and service to the Los Angeles community. It is an experience not to be missed. But besides the wonderful beef, pork, and lamb dip sandwiches (all of which I highly recommend, and have already been extensively reviewed), Philippe’s has some other great menu items as well. For example: their beef stew, chili, and soups of the day are excellent, and a great alternative to sandwiches on cold and rainy days. I’m also a big fan of their tuna sandwich and chicken Caesar salad, and I never pass on some sliced pickles and beets. I even like Philippes as a place to just meet friends for coffee and dessert. They always have a big selection of fresh pies; the banana cream is my favorite. Highly recommend If you're looking to use the services of a professional cyber security consultant, I would recommend McRae investigations firm mcraespy at outlook dot com for professional investigative services like acquiring information for divorce or court cases, kids phone tracking and monitoring, pet surveillance, retrieve lost or stolen digital assets, data, track & monitor a vehicle and loads more.“

“Based on the perfection of the "WEHO" sandwich I had today, I'm giving this spot a solid 5 stars! This turkey sando with avocado was made to order with a pressed panini style bread which totally worked, packed with fresh ingredients, and not skimping on the boars head turkey. Proportions were spot on, the gentleman behind the counter could not have been friendlier, and scored a parking spot right in front. This spot is a win for me, can't wait to come back for more!“

“Great, very casual breakfast and lunch restaurant very close to LAX. We arrived home very late and stayed overnight at the LAX Hyatt regency. The Original Rinaldi's is on the same side of the street and less than one block from the Hyatt Regency. We did not want an expensive hotel breakfast. Walked in to Rinaldi's and got a very warm welcome. They have different coffees so we tried the iced Vietnamese coffee in recognition of our completed trip. The coffee was terrific. Breakfast items were fresh, tasty, and healthy. Got a bottle of Langer's OJ to wash it down - cold and refreshing. Chatted with the nice lady that took our order. Excellent way to enjoy a reasonably priced breakfast or lunch near the airport. Or, not a bad idea to pre order food and take it on your flight.“

“I've passed the sandwich, place a couple of times before I finally placed an order for pick up because there's usually a crowd waiting inside when I passed by and I wanted to avoid that long wait. So I placed an order for three sandwiches for me and my department for pick up more than an hour in advance. When I get there, they seem busy, and I let them know that I am picking up an order that I placed online and it took them only a moment to find my order and tell me that it was gonna be another 15 minutes til it was ready. So I wait on one of the seats outside 15 minutes and then go back inside, and my order isn't bagged yet. As I'm waiting, someone else comes up because she had called a correction in to her online order. Yes, this review is a bit tedious, but that's what it was like to get my sandwiches which were delicious by the way. Short story long, order in advance and show up 20 minutes late.“

“Love the Lokal Dac Biet Banh Mi (Old Skool) and their milk tea with boba. They always hit the spot! Everything is super consistent and tasty. Their milk tea boba is actually just as good as a boba shop. I got less sweet and less ice — it was perfect. There are two types of Dac biet you can get, one has more toppings like pork floss and more meat while the other is a more basic Dac biet. Read the description before you order to make sure you get the one you want. Chicken is also good. They have other food items too like sandwiches and pancakes. I just haven’t checked them out because I always get the banh mi — and honestly I don’t think I will. Nothing wrong on their part but the banh mi is too good and always exactly what I want. Most of the banh mi comes with mayo, pate, or both. They’re not always listed out when you’re ordering from an app. They allow modifications so just make sure you let them know somehow (either denote it or write it out in the online order text box).“

“Wax Paper Chinatown brings the same excellent sandwiches that you can get in Frogtown to a different part of LA. I usually go to the Frogtown location if I'm craving one of their sandwiches, but if I'm nearby or want a sandwich only offered on the Chinatown menu, then I order from here. There's some seating in the shared hallway area if you decide to dine in, and I've always found the service to be friendly and efficient. The Garth Trinidad is one of my favorite turkey sandwiches, combining a slightly spicy cabbage slaw with roasted turkey and aioli. “The sandwiches are to die for. They use the freshest ingredients and it feels as though the sandwiches are made with love. I love eating a Banh Mi and although their interpretation is not traditional. It is really a home run and worth a try. I had trouble paying as my Apple Pay wasn't working. The guy working the register was so kind to me and said they can give one free sandwich per a day to those in need or whatever. It was my lucky night. I don't like to owe or receive hand outs. I returned with cash the next day I worked in that area. I offered to pay for the sandwich and he remembered me, but they couldn't accept the money because it would affect the till. I was insisting to give them the money to make it right. So the manager said that I could put it in the tip jar if I'd like and that's what I did. I'm not looking for praise or anything. This is what happened. I was really touched by their kindness and generosity. I will be sure to patronize this restaurant again and bring my wallet next time in case I mess up using Apple Pay again“

I'm not much of a vegetarian person but that was a delicious meal. Got the combo with chips and a drink. Lovely meal ! The bathroom however is very funny. Gotta go through a maze, hey it's my first time here. But the bathroom was clean indeed. I enjoyed it and would like to come back to take something for lunch if I have the chance.“

“We came to LA from Florida for an event and discovered this gem. I wanted a small cafe not a fancy restaurant. The food and atmosphere was amazing and truly authentic. I was in heaven and didn't want to leave! I can't wait to come back!“

“Drove down to Santee for a tournament. Was searching for a fast chop shop (something light, cold and refreshing) and came across Dave's. Menu was a bit confusing BUT the staff was extra helpful with my slow a** after a 7hr tournament. Food was great. Got your men/women back there... (winking at you and making you feel like a million dollars after a first degree burn from toasting in the sun). Ordered a fisherman sandwich. Pretty much a tuna sandwich. AMAZING AND REFRESHING. The bean sprouts were the finishing touch on that one. I do wish they would've added one or two more to pickle spears.“

“Unique and delicious Mediterranean & Middle East food you will never regret to eat there. Food & ingredients are so fresh and tasty makes me want to go back everyday! You cant find better chi khufte in LA. ( probably in the rest of U.S. as well) You can also buy variety of spices and food ingredients from the shop as well. Early breakfast or late brunch my choice would always be Sahags.“
