“I've only been here once, and my experience was good but not great. The hype of eating here was greater than I feel it should be. Food seemed average while the service was subpar. I will give it another try but won't go out of the way to do so.“

“We stopped there for lunch. We made reservations as recommended but not sure if it was necessary because there was nobody else there when we got there just before noon but filled up after 12:30.

The atmosphere was wonderful sitting on a warm day in the patio. The server was very attentive to our needs.

This is a place dedicated to SLOW FOOD. Allow at least 1 hour for lunch, at least 1.5 hours if you are having a dessert.

Food was extremely well prepared and you can taste the difference in quality and careful preparation. BTW, the crab cakes are the more spiced variety.

Two minor suggestions for improvement: ease up on the fries' seasoning (salt) and include utensils with to-go orders. Highly recommended for fresh seafood lovers! “I thought the Clam Chowder and the Calamari and the cocktail were really good, I do have a beef with how expensive the tacos are for only two tacos. They're good but not that good. It's more like $20-30 per person. Ambience is great though. That sun feels so good. Plenty of places to sit outside.“

“The full house sauce in medium is great with a little kick but not too spicy. We got shrimp, snow crab and soft shell crab - all super well done. Spacious and empty inside on a Sunday night, which is surprising considering how delicious and affordable everything is. Will definitely come back!“

“We shared a fish and chips basket, a small bowel of clam chowder and a side of coleslaw. We have visited several other see food places along Hwy 1 and we like Andria’s the best. The fish is always good and so are the fry’s. The chowder is like homemade and so is the coleslaw. Just like so many things the prices have gone up wich is to be expected in today’s economy.“

“Impressive customer service, while our waiter was busy w/other tables (which is understandable and totally fine) there is a busy bus boy buzzing around with water, clearing off plates and bringing extras people are asking for. Our waiter came and took our drink order. Malbec for me… so good, I had to ask what it was: Öko 🤤 and my husband ordered a smash berry something. THAT was SO BOMB! A hint of mint and full flavor of berries bursting bar god deliciousness! We ordered the butter board, now the presentation could use some work… I’m more about flavor and that butter (two options) was finger lickin good. The waiter took a few minutes to chat and told us it was pineapple butter. 🤯 it’s served with small pieces of… maybe focaccia bread (which btw alone was so good too). Meanwhile, the manager has his eye on everything. He saw the moment we put down our menus, and was there to ask is we has any questions. I did: there’s no house salad on the menu & he accommodated my request for one, which was a deciding factor for my main course. The SoCal Bolognese was bursting with flavor. This is new to the menu, we’ve been a few times… my husband is a fan, I was never impressed… until last night. The chorizo was spicy, but not overpowering, pasta cooked perfectly. The house salad could’ve used more tomatoes, but I really can’t complain since it’s not on the menu to begin with. My husband ordered the ahi steak on top of green beans and he said it was really good. It looked amazing, but I was in heaven with the butter board & the bolognese, my palate couldn’t handle the flavor overload 😜 After about 6 visits, I finally found something worth writing home about. For sure putting this place back into rotation. And the prices… very reasonable. Might be coming here a lot more. Everyone was super nice and helpful.“

“The Ventura location is awesome. Every time i've been, I have never had a bad experience (so far ~8-9 times). Maybe the mediocre experience was the fried oysters for me?

I opt for take-out while inside, which generally takes about ~15 minutes while I go wander the Last Chance store nextdoor. Never fails.

Food is great, combos are great. Staff is really nice, and happy to help you. The only knock is if I get something fried (doesn't travel well at all).“

“If you're searching for a quiet meal on the beach, this place has few rivals. We came here for our anniversary, and LOVED the rooms, the peace and quiet, the row of chaise lounges at water's edge, the restaurant on site, and the gracious continental breakfast. The management was chill, and we couldn't ask for more.“

“This was my third time visiting this restaurant but first time dining. First two visits were strictly for the churros, which I highly recommend. I finally got to experience and dive into the Mexican cuisine. I can't speak highly enough about the customer service from our waitress. She was an expert when it came to recommending her favorite dishes. In the end I will say that I was 100% satisfied with the torta and ice cold beer. My girlfriend got the Chipotle chicken and she absolutely loved it as well. Again, highly recommend.“

“What a great little find this was. Exquisite food at a reasonable price. Good varied menu with fresh local ingredients. I had the fresh tuna tartare with chips and a gem lettuce, pear, blue cheese and walnut salad. Good portion sizes too. One of the best meals I’ve had in Ventura these last six months.“

“Coming from San Diego, we had huge expectations. The food is reasonable but they don't have salsa bar. It's good if you are in the area.

Self serve: order at a window, wait for your number to be called, pick up food, beg for mini salsa cups and you get 2 at a time no matter how much you ask. We ordered 4 entrees and got 2 salsa. We asked for more and got 2 again. Their default tip for self serve and repeated requests for salsa is 15%. What are we tipping for?

Location is great next to the pier. Paid parking to get here.“

“A homey restaurant, with the most friendly staff that makes you feel at home, so much so I forgot to take pictures and videos of the place 🤣. The star of the show came right away, the refried beans with the chips and salsa! 🤤🤤🤤. I can't remember the last time something was that good! Plenty of on site parking, handicap ♿️ friendly parking and entrance, lots and LOTS of menu options (including vegan)

“Had Avacado tacos they were great. I also loved there salsa bar which has grilled veggies and unique salsas! They have a location in Oxnard and couple of other cities as well.
