“We sat at the bar and Vince took great care of us… so much so, I thought he was the GM! We got the Focaccia app, Arroncini, and the kitchen made the pasta meat free. The wine pairings were excellent, truffles and a pot de creme to finish were the perfect last bites. Definitely coming back, thanks to such fabulous service!”

“Please note this review is about the CHEF'S COUNTER EXPERIENCE, which they make a point of saying is separate from the main restaurant experience.

To be honest, I was pretty disappointed. The meal (two tasting menus plus two wine pairings) came out to $700 and it simply wasn't worth it. Part of the issue is the 22% service charge which they include automatically. I already don't like when 18% service charges are included automatically. 22% is obnoxious.

The service was very good, but not good enough to pay that much for. The food on the other hand was OK. I give the dishes an A- or B+ on unique and interesting. But some were too salty, and the overall flavors just didn't wow me enough to warrant a $700 price tag for dinner for two. The wine pairings were excellent though, and they served some very good and interesting wines.

I'd like to try the normal restaurant at some point, but wouldn't do the chef's counter experience again.”

We sat at the bar and honestly was such a great experience watching them make the food and chatting with the servers & bartenders. You mustttttt get the sourdough tortillas. Everything we got including the cocktails were phenomenal and we got the sweet potato for dessert. The portions are way bigger than I expected, so you had to roll me out of there to get home. The sweet potato was even good cold as leftovers, and a nice treat after an amazing meal. The scallop was my favorite thing on the menu *chefs kiss* 100/10 we love! Also- go for HH before 5pm. The prices are incredible.”

“I did some research on local restaurants before my 3 day trip to Denver and was so happy to have found Lucina Eatery. Let's start with the vibe and atmosphere. I felt right at home. The staff was fantastic from Alexander Moon (GM) to Billie (bartender with the right amount of sass, playfullness and desire to please). NOW FOR THE FOOD. Well I went back 2x over the 3 days the food was so good, I sat at the bar (a lot of fun since I was by myself) and felt totally welcome and comfortable. THE CEVICHE and BROCOLLI were to die for. I have 4 orders of Ceviche. I love this place and will be back”

The atmosphere is awesome due to the incredible décor, large screen, a multitude of different type of seating, large TV’s located all around the bar! The service and restaurant is second to none! The bartenders are so professional and friendly. Believe it or not we were actually asked if we were satisfied with our drinks! We were politely and professionally served our many food and drink selections! When our pizza slices were served, my mouth dropped, because I have never seen slices of pizza so huge! I have not had a slice of pizza that was so good with just the right amount of tasty toppings on mine! We ordered chicken wings, half naked and half buffalo wing sauce. The chicken wings had been fried to perfection and was so good we could not make up our minds which type of chicken wings was the best, so we called it a pleasingly tie!”

The spicy chicken ramen is hands down the best, love all of the bao buns, eggplant is my favorite, but can’t go wrong with crab or pork belly ones either. “Because it is a restaurant on the Michelin guide, I gave it a try. There is no doubt that this is a Western-style Chinese restaurant. The cold dishes were okay. We ordered bang bang chicken salad and beef tongue and tripe. Although bang bang chicken salad has nothing to do with authentic Sichuan bang bang chicken, I actually tasted the taste of Qianlong cabbage. The beef tongue and tripe is the best in the show, and the chili oil is very good. Twice cooked pork belly (twice-cooked pork) has a lot of meat, but the meat is cut too thick and does not stir-fry out the light nests that twice-cooked pork should have. Moreover, the twice-cooked pork should be stir-fried with black bean sauce and sweet noodle sauce. The twice-cooked pork here only has the taste of sweet noodle sauce and not the taste of black bean sauce. Stir-fried shanghai bok choy (stir-fried shanghai bok choy) is not stir-fried, but is made in a way similar to the soup of baby cabbage. Moreover, this soup should be made with a lot of relish, not boiled broth.
All in all, foreigners who just want to eat high-end Western-style Chinese food can come here, but Chinese people who want to eat hometown food don't have to try it.”

“It's relatively small, and it's a little pricey I bought a single carrot cupcake for $5.38 which made me think the cupcake would be a moist yummy cupcake but it honestly wasn't and the frosting wasn't special it tasted like the frosting you buy pre-made at the store. I like that they are open 24/7, I went around 11:25pm, there was homeless people around so not sure I'd feel safe as a college student. A homeless guy came in asking if we could buy him some alcohol for him, in the end he just walked out with it. I feel like there should be better security since this coffee shop and the shop next to it sell alcohol. The employees and customers deserve a security guard at night because one may never know what a homeless person might do. Aside from the pastry and blended coffee I tried from the shop the guy working there was very kind and efficient.”

“Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.”

“I have been going there for over 40 years. It is one of the best family restaurants in the neighborhood. My favorites are the Greek Chicken and Mexican Hamburger wings. The service is very personal; they all know you by name, and hugs are a delight. The owners are the best and treat you like you are part of the family. Every holiday, the decorations are professionally set up making the atmosphere calming and enjoyable to look at. They are big supporters of the Girl Scouts. “We made a reservation at 7pm on a Friday night and were sat immediately with great views! To my disappointment, the calamari appetizer we ordered was very rubbery and dry, as well was made up of mostly vegetables. We had also waited quite a while for the appetizer and entré but it did seem busy and the staff were very nice. As an entré we ordered the chicken paremesan and shrimp pasta which was phenomenal!!! Overall it was a good experience but I was disappointed with the appetizer, especially for how much I paid for it (almost $20).”

Not only was everything we tried ( I'm seriously going to dream about the harissa eggplant fries) but the attention to detail and the fresh flavors were out of this world! Additionally, special attention was paid to our food allergies and It was a huge weight off our shoulders to not have to worry about that! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it! We had the harissa eggplant fries, the pork cheeks, the Lebanese garlic dip, the spanakopita, the carne paella, and kept everything off with the chocolate torte! phenomenal food and staff!”

“Really fun new restaurant with 1) Amazing food 2) Very friendly staff 3) Fun ambiance. We tried the firework shrimp (that sauce does light you up), Panama Curry which was perfect for the cold night, and Drunken noodles where the basal balance was perfection! Looks like they have a full bar and beer tap and would be a fun spot for happy hour. Most certainly will be back!!!
