“This is my daughter’s (age 6 as of this review) favorite restaurant. We take her occasionally as a treat and sometimes meet up with friends. My daughter has been fighting the flu and after days of not eating much she asked for butter noodles from Cozy Corner. At the time we were coming home from her pediatrician. I called up and asked if they wouldn’t mind bring it out for me so I didn’t have to get my daughter in and out of the car since she is sick. Plus, I really didn’t want to bring her inside. “Sal worked with us for my grandsons baptism party. The roast beef was tender and flavorful. Lemon chicken was amazing. Roasted vegetables with hot peppers, WOW! Roasted potatoes, fantastic! “The prices for the food are great and the garlic knots are to die for. The dining room is very noisy but I can get past it, they're busy and popular so to be expected. “The food was fine, but I misunderstood the waitress and my plate wasn't what I expected. My husband didn't get what he ordered. The waitress fixed it with grace and the kitchen made my husband's meal in record time. I was told reservations would be preferred, we were the only diners for a while, but the dining room did get busy. I believe we will go again.“

“I came here for dinner with my family and girlfriend and I must say the food is absolutely delicious but it is a little bit smaller than the Milford location. At the time when I went, there was another major party going on just arriving with Quinnipiac university which these women filled up most of the dinning area. I did call ahead of time and put a last minute reservation but still this restaurant needs to expand and have a separate area for parties it is way too small. A lot of people don't like to sit at the bar area for dinner squeezed into a booth with a noisy party eating buffet style.“

“I usually love their pizza but I would recommend going there in person for it or double checking it lately. Ordering online doesn't work since its hard to customize pizzas and ots a 10 minute longer wait minimum. We got 2 pizzas for pick up ordered over the phone. 1st the girl was handling more than one phone at a time so not really knowing if we had her full attention. 2nd we ordered the oozy egg no proscute with an extra egg instead. there was no proscute but also no extra egg and the eggs were on only half the pizza. my hubby asked for a side of red pepper flakes they gave him .5oz, kind of stingy. the 2 pizzas came to $38+ and at that price they could at least pay attention and get the order right. Even if they might have been busy, at least do a quality check or read the order back to the customer so it is right.“
“Called here to try out the tuna grinder. An angry man answered and told me take out only! I was getting take out anyways so that worked. He yelled a number at me after I ordered and hung up. I walked in to pick up and the entire restaurant was closed up except for the take out counter so it must always be like that ? Not sure. Anyways, picked up my very generous looking half a tuna for under $10 and left. This was one of the best tuna grinders I've ever had. Bread was lightly toasted. Tuna was double the portion of the pizza place down the street and it tasted great. Will be back to try more items for sure.“
“prices on the menu are not the same as what I was charged; when I politely brought this up with my server I was met with hostility and I heard her and who I assumed to be the manager speaking very loudly and poorly about me; the whole situation made me entirely uncomfortable despite being upcharged 8 dollars that I paid my bill and promptly left after being treated poorly about the discrepancy. The buffalo chicken slice had chunks of blue cheese and was so flavorful. All 3 slices we got were delicious. Dying to try their Big Mac slices. “I only ordered takeout, but when I came inside, it had a really nice and welcoming interior. Ordered a large sausage and pepperoni pizza. The sausage was great, thick, but not too much to where it took away from the whole pie. Cheese was tasty and was applied consistently throughout. The sauce was excellent and was just right. Nice dough, thick but stable slices with thin crust. Thin slices but can fold with ease and still not droop. Best pizza in the area, will definitely come back for more. Highly recommend“

“Holy wow! I finally got around to trying this place and I have no complaints. I ordered ahead online and my order was ready as soon as I walked in. I got a Jamaican beef patty and the pulled pork sandwich which were both soooo good and flavorful. The pulled pork practically melted in my mouth. It was so delicious, and also very filling. I was only able to eat one half at a time and saved the other half for leftovers. The sandwich came with a bunch of thick steak fries, which were also super filling, I couldn’t even finish those either. I probably ate about 1/3 of what they gave me before I was full.I’m not sure what the one star reviews are talking about, I feel like I got more than enough food for the price. “While this sandwich shop is a bit more on the expensive side for subs and sandwiches, this is one of those places where you get what you pay for. The variety and sandwiches, the quality of the food, was great. I had the buffalo chicken sub, and you end up with an entire breaded chicken breast, with some really good flavoring. My lunch mates had the steak and cheese and really enjoyed theirs as well - to the extent they wouldn't give me a bite. Jerks.Would go again.“

When you sit they give you some bread, nothing special but a nice touch. The servings on the entrees were big and each entree comes with a side salad. We tried 3 entrees all were good but nothing incredible. I would definitely recommend this place. I think it provides one of best experiences and food out of the Italian restaurants on main street. “As an out-of-towner this was my first time visiting Michael's Trattoria, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was exceptional from beginning to end. Fresh baked bread is served warm with both olive and garlic, and butter. The salads were fresh and included a nice variety of spring greens, tomatoes, and chickpeas- and I would suggest trying their house vinaigrette. The Penne Alla Vodka was fantastic with perfectly cooked pasta, a sauce with the just the right balance of cream and zesty tomato, and a good amount of large, tender shrimp. The atmosphere is cozy with an elegant flair, and a nice mix of background music, including traditional Italian, and the service was friendly, and attentive. Highly recommended.“
