“I saw 5 for food basing it off the amazing drinks. They do have pre packaged snacks which the adult snack pack was so good w dark chocolate almonds and fresh cut cheese. But the drinks were the show. The bartenders are so talented. I'm not a bourbon drinker but the male bartender made this smoked marshmallow drink that changed my mind. It's a small space but totally worth it!!!!“
“The prices for the food are great and the garlic knots are to die for. The dining room is very noisy but I can get past it, they're busy and popular so to be expected. I can't stop thinking about the garlic knots. I got the burrata salad with chicken and it was all incredible. The food also came out super quick given how packed it was there on a Saturday night.“

“Service was on the slow side, however the dining area was busy. My chicken sandwich was delicious and juicy, and I would definitely order it again. However the $1.50 for the up charge on french fries was not worth it. The fries were soggy, limp and unseasoned.It wasn't all bad. Like I said I really enjoyed my beer and my chicken sandwich.Parking: Nice new looking building but parking seems limited.“

A truck driver friend recommended this place and I did not get a good meal, I got a GREAT meal. “My favorite local watering hole.I’ve been going to Ideal Tavern for years now and I absolutely love it. The food is always on point, great selection of craft beers and even better craft cocktails. The bartenders are always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is amazing. And they ALWAYS are playing the best music. Whatever playlist they’re using it has always been on point for years. Can’t recommend Ideal Tavern enough, my favorite spot in Southington.“

The parking situation was not great, very limited and we got there pretty early in the evening. We weren't jiving with the vibe of the crowd and left. Younger reguetton hookah crowd not for me, but overall good based on the short time we were there.“

The decor was nice and inviting . The bartender Jessica was fabulous, the other girls were friendly as well. They have a pretty good happy house menu so definitely I'll go there again. Worth the drive for me for sure.They also have a banquet room available for parties there too.Definitely check this place out for some delicious food and good pricing.“

“Who knew this local bar has a legit Taco Tuesday!??Located on West Main St in Meriden is Maloney's Pub. Sad to say I have lived here for 20+ years and just started going to this establishment. I was missing out. Bar staff is very nice, provide good service. Drink prices are reasonable and they have mostly any liquor you want. If they don't they will order it for the next time you go! I knew they served food but general go after the kitchen is closed (after 10pm). I went on a Tuesday and overheard someone ordering tacos. I ordered 2 chicken tacos. So good! The ingredients were so fresh and chicken was seasoned perfectly. I am a huge fan of salsa verde and this was the best I've had. Tacos were $2 a piece & draft beers are $3 on Tuesday. Good food, cheap night!“
