“Discovered this place today on our way back from Stamford-- what a gem! The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the place was very clean. I highly recommend for dining in or taking out. Table space is limited-- I think most people get items to go-- but there are some choices inside and a couple of small tables outside.“

“Oh my goodness...we cannot WAIT to go back! First off, the service is fantastic from the hostess to our server to our clearer so friendly, always smiling and made our meal even better. We opted out of an appitizer to save room for dessert (so glad we did). We had a combo plate with a crunchy taco and cheese enchilada...both great and a beef burrito! HUGE and flavorful! We ended the meal with churros and they were worth every calorie! Served hot and with three dipping sauces.We can't wait to go back and try some different dishes. So glad we tried this place over the weekend! Go, go, GO!“

“I’ve always walked past this place and today I decided to stop by with my partner for Happy Hour. It was one of the best experiences we have had in Stamford yet. The bartender, Branling, recommended food to try and he made us some of the best drinks I have had I had to order a couple more (old fashion and Italian 75) because he truly made them like no other. I can’t wait to come back and try their dinner menu and many more items because of the amazing experience I had this afternoon!“

“Went for drinks before another dinner reservation. Ambiance was perfect for a drink and chat. We had martinis and smoked trout toast (which was excellent). Only part that wasn't exceptional was that 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill even though there was only two of us. That's what we would have added anyway but it was a little odd that we weren't given the choice.“

“Very good food and beverages and our waitress guided me carefully through the menu to accommodate a gluten allergy. The daily oysters were fantastic, and we enjoyed the other items we ordered very much: fish tacos, vegetable salad, miso salmon, and a dry rose wine. Subtracting a star because we were forgotten for a while after being seated (more than 15 minutes) and then the bartender opened the door to take out the mats and garbage and left it open for a long time when it was below freezing outside. We froze and that ruined the romantic vibe.“

“Excellent spot easily accessible in downtown Darien from I-95. I love seafood and the meal here did not disappoint. We started with the crab cocktail and half a dozen oysters with everything being fresh and delicious. The cocktail came with a mustard sauce (in addition to cocktail sauce) that was quite tasty. I ordered a Branzino special which had an excellent thick flaky piece of fish cooked to perfection. The service was so efficient, i never had to worry about my water glass not being filled as the waitress was constantly checking on us. The ambiance is chic but somewhat laid back. Good place for people watching. All in all, an excellent New England Seafood restaurant. I'll definitely be back.“

For take out, I ordered the imperial and sushi B..Supposed to come with 10 pieces of sushi.. however both only came with 8.Restaurant is expensive. So if you gonna charge this much. You should at least honor what you said you would do.“

The food was superb, picked the raw seafood combination appetizer, followed by lobster with squid ink pasta and tiramisu for dessert. The service was also exceptional our server made sure our drinks and food were served on time. We will visit again.“

“What a special and amazing place! Friendly and courteous staff filled with total pros. The Head Chef who serves as club GM presents an array of delicious dishes. I was served the best Mussels I've had this side of Belgium. Poke bowl is a great choice too. Casual and comfortable atmosphere. Can't wait for the warm weather and the outdoor patio. The premium white chunks of chicken were cooked to perfection, and it was evident that this restaurant does not cut any corners in ensuring that their food is at its best. “This was our first visit to Coast Seafood. Upon walking in we were a bit apprehensive about what our experience would be like. That apprehension was put to rest from the moment we received a warm greeting with a 'thank you for coming to my restaurant.' Our cocktails were perfect. My wife had one of, if not the best cosmopolitan martini she's ever had. Come to find out it is the owners specialty drink. The pan-fried beef goyza dumplings served as a wonderful starter. For entrees, I opted for the filet of sole that was very tasty. My wife had the special of the day, Chilean sea bass that was absolutely incredible. Lucky me, she could not finish it, so I got to do the honors. Unfortunately, we did not have room for dessert. The service was excellent with every need promptly tended to. We are very happy that we dined Coast Seafood. Next time we find ourselves back in Greenwich, CT we'll be returning for another excellent dining experience.“

“I've been to The Americano, a new trendy eatery in downtown Stamford twice and thought it time to give this restaurant a review. Simply put, it's exceptional and thankfully, a big hit. The word of mouth has really helped since I frequently hear people talking about it. Our party of three dined on a Saturday night. Our server, I wish I knew his name, was polite, helpful, and efficient. When he brought the wrong drink (things happen) he quickly fixed the issue and was gracious throughout. We enjoyed the Burrata and Truffle Arancini as starters, and the Hangar Steak, Salmon, and Scallops with a side of truffle fries and a side of spinach. For dessert, the caramel bread pudding. For drinks, the raspberry thyme, margarita, and gimlet. Each and every item was exceptional! As a courtesy, the kind manager gave us free drink vouchers for a nightcap at the bar. The Americano is run incredibly well with a caring, knowledgeable staff and a cool hip ambiance with black, white, and red atmosphere. It's always crowded which is proof that the restaurant is being appreciated as one of the new Stamford hits of 2023 and beyond.“

A nice atmosphere to say nonetheless, could use better customer service, but a nice establishment overall!Update: the clams and the chicken tenders appeared to be undercooked. “I’m not from the area, but I was at a work function and they ordered from here. I just got the dumplings and I brought it home. My husband and I thought they were great. The next time I was in the area for work I got 2 combination dinners and dumplings and brought them homefor dinner. I think most of us are loyalists, and traditionalists.The food is good, breakfast is always consistant. The wait staff is great.We go when we're in town, to see our favorite waitress, Debbie.A little powerhouse with a Golden heart, who somehow senses what people are going through at the momen, and adjusts her demeanor to accommodate. She can be uplifting, motivating, show empathy, but always caring, and determined to be the best and do the best for you.Penny's has a place in our hearts, and we visit one or two times a month.Convenient and worth the visit.“

“First time here but always drove by and never felt inclined to go inside. My mom recommended it so we decided to come for a casual quick bite. The food was surprisingly delicious! It's unassuming because the reviews aren't great but I loved the burrata and my salad was so good. My mom loved her burger and the meat was perfectly cooked. They also have really friendly and speedy service. The only issue is the bugs that are flying around when you eat so maybe it should be a bit cleaner but still giving 5 stars. Overall, I was impressed by Caren's CC. I think the prices are great too!“
