“If you read nothing else of my review read this: Bring singles! Yes. These ladies are working hard and deserve every bit of "moulah" that you can hand them as they strut their stuff on stage and through the entire venue! I went with a large group of women for a recent Sunday Gospel brunch (Gospel brunch is back and is the first Sunday of each month) and it was a blast. There are two brunch sittings (one at 11:30 and the other at 2pm) and the energy that these performers have to have to do this show twice is crazy! For one set price, ($39.95) you get a choice of entree (there is an entire range of items from Eggs Benedict, to crabcakes to pasta) and then unlimited Mimosas or Bloody Marys. For a small upcharge you can also get unlimited frozen cosmos so know before you go! And when I say unlimited, they mean it as bottle after bottle of champagne landed on our table along with pitchers of orange juice. On the day I was there, the audience was made up of bachelorette parties as well as birthdays and just some people hanging out, but whether people were celebrating something or not, everyone came to have fun and this venue ensures that! The service is outstanding, the jokes are flying, and probably my favorite part was at the end when the "man in the mirror" segment was done. The entire experience last about 2.5 hours and my face still hurts from smiling the entire time. Well done, Lips!“

“Excellent place. I came in there for a pick-up order and the staff immediately greeted me. Everyone was so friendly and professional. I noticed that the food was doubled wrapped for freshness, and when I got home I couldn't not believe the size of the portions. Not only that but it was delicous. Excellent place and I would recommend it to anybody.“

“Had the pleasure of dining in at Anthony's Clam House. We come all the way from New Jersey just for the clams! Everything was excellent especially the linguine vongole and the Tuscan shrimp. The atmosphere is very nice. The service was awesome, we were blessed to have Angela as our waitress, she was a sweetheart. She checked in with us throughout the meal to make sure everything was good. 10/10 overall and I look forward to coming back!“

“Wow, wow, and wow! Amazing and flavorful food that I haven't experienced to date in Thai cuisine! We ordered one of each of the servers' recommendations, and we are glad we did! We love to try new things, and everything we had tonight was new to us, and we loved it. We'd eat here every week if we lived around here. We can't recommend this restaurant enough if you like Thai!“

“We had a great time celebrating a bday here! The private cages, fun instructor, friendly staff, and great drinks made it a memorable experience that everyone enjoyed. The food menu has a handful of options, but all the items we tried were really yum. Can't wait to come back!“

“I found spot randomly driving around and it seemed like a cool place so I came in by myself. An extremely polite gentleman invited me to the bar and took my order. The service was fast and professional. I ordered 3 street tacos and I got beef, pork and chicken. I was blown away at how delicious this food was. Easily the best tacos I've ever had. I also really enjoyed the Quvo Named craft beer. I was surprised to learn that the gentleman and woman serving me were the owners! I'll definitely be returning.“

“This place was amazing. It's black owned, ran by black people, the whole experience. My party of 4 got to the restaurant an hour before our reservation ( on a Sunday) and the host Wendy was gracious enough to get us in early. Wendy are a gem in that. You can tell she runs a they ship. All the staff were nice. The food was just simply amazing. When you first walk in, the low light will take you a couple of minutes to adjust. However once you do, it's all good from there. There have a little photos booth to take photos. The music was just right. I definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. We can wait to go back for dinner once night. Hats off to Smith and Webster!!“

“Was in Wilton Manors four nights and I ate here three of them! I'm gluten free so you can never go wrong with tacos. My favorites were def the chicken, chorizo, and the grouper, hold the onions. Bartender was a cool cat providing relaxed but attentive service. I didn't try the ceviche because I was solo but it looked amazing and very shareable, next time. My mezcal margaritas hit the spot I truly wish there was a Tulios in my hometown.“

“It’s a cool place, I won’t take that away from them. But I’ve been there a few times and there’s definitely an “in” crowd that seems to be there every time I go. Kind of feels cliquey. And I’ve asked for flavored tea a few times and idk if they’re out or just not listening but I end up with a non flavored tea that I just kind of accept and deal with. It would be nice if the bartenders or whatever you call them actually ask your name or say thank you after you pay them instead of just walking away. Just seems like there’s two rungs of service.“

“The best margaritas in Wilton Manors…and I tried a lot of margaritas on our vacation in the area. The bar has a great atmosphere with both the inside and outside areas feeling upmarket but without being pretentious. A nice mix of people from across the community and the drinks were both excellent quality and excellent value. Classic margaritas, smoked old fashions, cosmos and espresso martinis were all on point.“
“12/30/23 8:30pm We arrived after the peek dinner rush and were able to get right in. Our Waiter was great. Clam Chowder and Appetizers were Great with generous portions. We had Octopus and bacon wrapper scallops. Great Garlic bread. Main entrees were spot on and again generous portions. We had Jambalaya and the lobster pasta. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. Had Key lime pie for dessert and that completed a great dinner. Prices were very reasonable and the serving time was perfect with no delays between courses. Definetly worth the drive from the beach resort (14 mins) easy parking. Casual Fun atmosphere. Its a Keeper!“

“There was an hour wait for table but we got lucky and found seats at the bar. The grilled artichoke was fantastic. Pork roll was different and also good. Had the mango spicy margarita and then had passion fruit spicy margarita both were fantastic. My partner had the red sangria and loved it. I finished with the electric martini which has a flower garnish that makes your mouth tingle. Highly recommend! Cassie took care of us and was perfect! Great atmosphere! Beautiful restaurant! We’ll be back!“
“We LOVE Joe!!!! My friend desperately wanted to play Pool so we stopped by this bar, not sure what to expect. It was one of those nights you expect to turn in early but end up having so much fun that you stay out for much longer. The bar has 3 pool tables, 3 dart boards, and some video games. Bring cash if you want to play pool! No beer on draft but a good selection of beer options. Joe was the only one working the bar and he made us feel at home even though it was our first time here. I think he is a huge part of why folks come and stay at this bar.“

“We've been going to Prison Pals every so often during the past year & have always enjoyed the food & drinks. My personal favorite are the smoothie beers, which are so yummy & different from anything else I've ever had! We loved the food too, especially the empanadas so I was so disappointed to find out that they no longer make them. Hopefully they bring them back because they were amazing, especially with some cilantro aioli!“

She also made the drink, was my server and did the take out and all with a smile. What a delight. The drink was delicious and the Ceviche Roll (I am Peruvian) was outstanding. If you are in Boca I highly recommend you stop here. Great selection, great music, great decore and outstanding service!“

“I cannot say one bad thing! I almost don't want to say anything because this place is so great, I want to keep it to myself! However, the word must be out because the vibe.... Awesome! The beer is cold and tasty and they have wine too. The food trucks are phenomenal, BUT THE WHOLE VIBE!! So welcoming and friendly! I come to town about 5 times a year and will definitely stop in each and every time!!“

“My favorite Lauderdale by the Sea restaurant. Visited twice over a weekend and wasn't disappointed either time. Their Jumbo shrimp is one of my favorite even though they are smaller than just a few years ago, but still some of the best I've had. Don't leave without a slice of Key Lime Pie, to die for!“

“Weekend buffet: The best Indian buffet we've had in years. And certainly the most upscale. (Of course, the pandemic put an end to buffets and many restaurants chose not to offer buffets anymore so there hasn't been much choice.)Still, the space is elegant and the buffet is displayed nicely. The side nearest the main seating area is non-veg; the side nearest the wall is vegetarian. (As vegetarians, we didn't look at the meat side.) We were told they change up the dishes all the time.On our visit there were two mango desserts, one cold, one hot. Three appetizers: spinach pakora, spiced chickpeas and upma, plus pieces of naan bread and pappadum. Three entrees: a potato dish (dry, not in a sauce), dal makhani, and a paneer dish in red sauce. Then white rice, a spiced rice dish, and sambar soup, plus a vegetable biryani directly opposite on the otherwise meat side. After that at a smaller table was a dosa station, where dosas were made fresh by request and brought to your table when ready so you don't have to stand there and wait. (We chose potato filling and they were delicious!) Also at this table there was pani puri and the typical condiments such as cilantro coconut sauce, tamarind, lime pickle, etc.Lastly, there was hot chai tea and a cold beverage that could have been an herbal tea.The weekend buffet was $24 per person. You can also pay extra for bottomless mimosas. We did not, but I think I saw somewhere that it's $12. During the week the buffet is offered only on Friday. We were told Friday's is smaller, so it probably costs less but we didn't ask.We certainly had enough to eat. The dishes were not as hot spicewise as we normally like, and while the options weren't our favorites we enjoyed our lunch. We will definitely go back.“

“If I could have given 10 stars for each category, I would have. Had dinner there last night and have never been more impressed with a restaurant menu, staff, atmosphere... everything. Patricia was my waitress, and was an absolute delight to talk to and to provide us service. She gave us fantastic descriptions of just about everything on the menu, and quite frankly I wished I could have ordered everything because they all sounded great! When I asked her what she liked the most, rather than pick the most expensive thing on the menu, she chose a fish dish that I have no doubt would have been terrific. As it was, I chose the king crab, and my wife chose lobster and steak... and we enjoyed every delicious bite of both entrees. Patricia was promptly there with warm cloths for our hands, to ensure our meals were satisfactory, and to even take pictures of us enjoying the dinner on the patio with a fantastic view of the ocean on a gorgeous 78 degree evening. Again, I cannot recall a restaurant that I enjoyed being at more... and I have enjoyed many great restaurants. If you are ever in the Fort Lauderdale area, do yourself a huge favor and reserve a table at Tuluck's. If Patricia is working, do yourself another favor and ask to be seated in her area. You will not regret it.“

“Love this place. I think I over ate my last visit…lol. It’s best to go Happy Hour time 3pm to 9pm. I always get the shrimps and loaded mash. OMG!! The appetizers are delicious too. The crab meat dip with them little soft breads. Ummmm….You have to Go!“
“Everytime we've visited the area, its been hard to find a nice neighborhood bar. Most places are more like clubs. We were so glad to find Mona's. Everyone - the staff and the clientele- were so cool and welcoming. Dean was the best and the bar back (I sorry I never got his name). Dean went through the history behind the furniture and some of the art. It was a little out of the way but we're so glad we made the trek!“
“I hate to even write this to give up my secret. Kimmie's is the best little bar ever! Always a great time and excellent entertainment. Don't miss karaoke on Saturdays! The owner and staff are great people and everybody knows your name!“

“Awesome for a casual dining experience! The menu is well varied and enough healthy options to avoid a guilty feeling. However, for those looking to indulge, you will find the menu is great!I tried the ribs and wings along with a salad. They were good. The music was too loud, at lunchtime, and had to shout to hear each other.“

“The taco lunch special was our first visit. The delicious house salad blew me away—who gives you hearts of palm and blood oranges?! The chicken fajitas were plentiful, but there could have been more avocado, tomatoes and cheese. May I suggest including sour cream too, because it would be saucier & even more flavorful.“

“This past Tues, a friend & I decided on this place for the first time and so glad we did! Started out with Chips & Queso plus $5 Pomegranate Margaritas (daily flavored margarita special). Nothing special about the margarita, good or bad. Queso is a little on the thinner side compared to other places, but tasty and adequate size. For Taco Tuesday, they had 3 Street Tacos for $12, even birria, and you can mix n match. Very plentiful amounts of meat & toppings. Plus there's a birria taco + ramen option & for the Tues special, you just add $5 for ramen. Everything was bursting with flavor. Had to take the ramen to go because I was so stuffed. Overall, amazing food, relaxed casual atmosphere, & staff were all very friendly. I highly recommend and definitely plan to go back!“

“Stopped by to enjoy a cigar and a guiness at the their outside bar. Super friendly place and got to love English pubs for fresh guiness. Highly recommended! Didn’t eat so can’t rat the food, but I’m guessing by what I see it’s fresh the guiness! “

“This is a great little place and experience. You actually have to check in at the Fort Liquordale liquor store and get a card with a combination on it. After you enter the combination in the massive safe door you are able to proceed to the speakeasy. There you will find some pretty unique drinks and some pretty awesome food. The steak tartare was by far my favorite. It is definitely quality and the flavors are amazing. We tried quite a few other apps and they were all on point. This is a place worth checking out for sure.Parking: Parking is very limited so be sure to get there early.“

“It is what it says it is. No pretention. Tots, fried Mac and cheese and burgers. I live nearby so anything more than an occasional Cousin Oliver is too much. But it's all quite good. Service can be spotty at times but grab a drink and it will be fine. Fun times.“

“Amazing food, everything is cooked to perfection, must try the pastrami, brisket grilled cheese and the blackened chicken sandwich, but everything else on the menu is good too! Awesome staff, very friendly and attentive. Ambient is cool, laid back making it the ideal place for happy hour!“
“George runs this place like a classic car cigar bar/surf style place but no cigars and every kind of cool person you could ever meet! They have reclaimed furniture, are right next to a small taco place that will bring your food right over to the bar. We were there for 1:00 in the morning on a Wednesday night and he did not close until we were done. They have classic car and motorcycle shows there, definitely a must see!!“

“Haven't been here in awhile. Thought I would give this place another try. 2 of us had lunch & my hubby had breakfast. I had a nice surprise when I checked in on Yelp. There was a 10% off coupon which I was happy to use. I choose the grilled chicken Caesar salad. Lots of lettuce- not a lot of chicken! The Croutons were very good. My mom had the hamburger with fries & she really enjoyed it. Hubby had the corned beef hash with grits. He was underwhelmed on the grits. We had to ask for a couple of things from our server, otherwise I would say service is good. The restaurant reminds me of a diner setting with a lovely bar area. TV sets on the wall. Overall, we will be back to try other items on the menu.“
“From the outside, it looks ominous, especially coming from a tourist. But, this is THE best local bar period. Slightly off the beaten path, it's tucked between a clothing shop and liquor store. The drinks and beer are what you expect and want, and the establishment is super clean and organized. Your choice of music, including the volume, and excellent conversation. Pleasant patrons that are ready to laugh and have a nice time.Tammy was our bartender, absolutely awesome. Perfectly poured drinks, super friendly, great conversation.Stop in and say hi, grab a cold one, and wear a smile. I will be back!Parking: Its in the publix parking lot. Plenty of space.Wheelchair accessibility: Roll right in.“

“I was here tonight where a lady didn't like her food. I watched the owner and bartender try to resolve the issue immediately for her, with professionalism and pose. The food I had was incredible, not sure what she had. But all I know is, if I was them, I wouldn't have maintained my composure for nearly as long. It was my first time here, and definitely seemed like a stray crazy person on Christmas evening. Pricing is fair and low, ambiance is very family oriented, like a strong community. Fantastic northern bar. A gem for the south Florida community.“
“We were promptly greeted. Very small menu with items that seem to be very well made. We had a salad and homemade ravioli. Both were excellent. We had a piece of flan (not on menu). Excellent!! The owner said to always ask for specialty items that may not be on the menu. Owner was attentive and very nice. Hoping to come back for the ribeye. Great music too. Take the side street and find this little gem.“

“great place ! have been going there off and on for several years. The big negative is the cigar smoke ! Although it is outside the number of people seems to keep the smoke from clearing out and it just hangs around. Really is cigar smoking necessary in such a dense crowd ?“

“Delicious! I was passing by after a run and saw the flag. Had to check it out. I was greeted by a kind cashier who helped me decide on the large portion of j*** chicken (it was between the j*** & oxtail). When I came back to pick up my meal; the cook was there to greet me. You can really feel the authenticity. She opened my to-go box to ensure the meal was to my liking. She also got me an extra sauce on the side. The large j*** chicken plate came with about 1/2 a chicken, a salad, and rice & peas.the chicken was so flavorful, the rice and peas were exactly what I needed. The salad for meWas the appropriate portion, as I prioritize the protein. They overdelivered.Would highly recommend for an authentic, homemade meal. I’ll be back!“
