“It is now a family tradition to go to Pinchers for dinner after a nice day on the beautiful Marco Island beach! The service is always phenomenal and food is delicious, and, of course, kids eat free! The fried calamari is always fresh and full of flavor! I always have the grilled shrimp Po' Boy and it never fails to satisfy. My wife had the grilled Mahi-mahi and it was one of the best that we've ever had! The seasoned green beans and the garlic mashed potatoes are ???!!”

“Restaurant food and service were great. At breakfast station, Esquado was very engaging. I asked about soft boiled eggs and he suggested to make me poached eggs and homemade hollandaise sauce. I didn’t recall the last time I had such wonderful eggs. It came out perfect. Thank you.”

A definite must go to, we’ll be back for sure. We met the owner and his daughter. They both genuinely care about the customers and their staff.”

“My neice bought me a gift card 3 weeks ago for Mangos because we love the restaurant, went there to use it and the waitress tells us we can't use it at this time...So you sold a gift card to someone when you can't use it...That seems illegal and very bad business”

“Would have been a perfect evening out if it wasn't for the front hostess,who we were told is named Diana, who passes herself off as the owner. After being shown to the dining area our friends asked if we could change the table we were brought to so that it wasn't right in the walk way coming in. We asked the wait staff and they courteously sat us at another table of our choice. After settling in, this person named Diana came to our table and chastised us for changing tables. We were told we couldn't just do that, that WE had to go back up to the front and tell them we wanted to change, not just take the word of the wait staff who we asked, which Diana said probably didn't understand English and had no right to accommodate our request. Perhaps she needs to chastised the wait staff for their response, not the customers. Image our surprise of being publicly confronted in a rude and loud voice witnessed by the people seated at the tables around us, by this person claiming to be an owner rather than making sure her customers were satisfied with the seating.
We would have left the restaurant at that point had we not brought another couple with us and didn't want to inconvenience​ them.
Our waitress Mechella, was just wonderful and the food and preparation was delicious. However I don't know how long a business can survive with someone like Diana being rude and obnoxious to customers.”

“If you haven’t been to this restaurant you need to go. I would describe this restaurant as an eclectic and industrial vibe with great ambiance. Our server Sam was phenomenal! He was very attentive, professional, respectful and charming. We went there on July 13th 2024. Our table had the burrata appetizer and the shrimp cocktail. They were plated beautifully and very delicious. I had the special of the day which was cobia over a bed of Parmesan risotto with a lemon beurre blanc sauce and Hericot Verts. I am not a fish fan but I wanted to try something different for a change and I was so happy I did. The fish had trout roe on top and it popped in your mouth and was fantastic. I finished everything on my plate. Sam sold me on it with his description and the chef provided a meal I will never forget. My dining partners had filet mignon, Lobster Madagascar and Schnitzel A’la Holstein. I tried them all and I loved each and everyone of those dishes. I wish I lived in Marco Island so I could go there often.”

“It’s a place you wouldn’t expect much to start with. Nothing wows you in the atmosphere, but it’s clean, service is great, people are nice, food is super yummy! I will definitely go back again!”

“I wish I took a picture of my dish. I’ve been using Mongolian beef as my judge for Chinese restaurants for decades. Easily eaten it thousands of times at hundreds of restaurants. The Mongolian Beef at KJ was in the top three I’ve ever had. That includes some very high end places in every big city. To find a gem like this in a corner on Marco Island was a wonderful discovery. I’ll be coming back every time I visit the island. The dish was spicy. I asked for as spicy as they make, nothing gets to me anymore, and this was right on the edge of the hottest food I’ve been served in any of the restaurants. The flavors were excellent and the ingredients were top notch.

We also had a few sushi rolls, all fantastic, and the krab rangoons were the best I’ve had in years. You can tell they really care, I made a mistake reading the menu and they fixed it up right away. (On that note order the big giant roll without deep fry and it’s amazing, I just don’t like hot rolls).

I think the owner was the one who took care of that for me and I meant to thank him in person and let him know how amazing that Mongolian beef was, but I didn’t get a chance. Hope you read this review! I can’t wait to be back!”

“We were in the area for the weekend and wanted someplace to watch the Miami Hurricanes football game. We were told about the Sandbar and it didn't disappoint. Everyone was nice and the food was good. Lazlo gave us great customer service too. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and talking with the locals. We will definitely go back if we are ever back in the area. Can't beat a great sports bar with good food and cold beer!!”

“We vacation in Marco Island last week, and on our first night we ordered a little Caesars and it was the best meal we had there all week! And we are from Ohio! Hands-down fantastic!!”

“Ordered the hot dog and whitefish basket with french fries. Food here is priced fairly while being warm, fresh cooked and delicious. Hot dog was very tasty, battered fish tasted and looked fresh caught and the fries are crunchy but fluffy. Ideal location right on/off the beach.

“A little expensive for the full experience but everything is REALLY good and the service is impeccable. It’s almost $50 with tax and tip but there’s so many choices and everything except the cereal is freshly made with just so many choices. If you’re ever in Marco Island and you love breakfast, this has to be the best choice on the island. The options for the omelette were really good, in the first picture I got a turkey and shrimp omelette with bell peppers, cheddar cheese and goat cheese. It was phenomenal. There’s a couple of choices: the continental buffet for $25 which is just cold stuff and the full buffet for $38.”

“Went with my wife last night to Joey D’s on Marco Island. Sat at the insanely busy bar. Ordered our drinks and a large pizza 1/2 plain 1/2 specialty. Turns out they made the 1st pizza all specialty then remade a pizza all specialty 1/2 no cheese. So no pizza for about an hour. Did we care? NOPE. If that’s the worst thing this week then it was a really good week. What did the owner do? Even though we said it’s totally fine, he brought us out a large specialty and a large plain and didn’t charge us a penny for our pizza or 3 drinks!!!! So bartender got a $40 tip and we will be customers for life. The craziest part is we were laughing and truly didn’t care. It’s just pizza!!! Thanks you guys!!!”

“Four of us had dinner tonight. This was our first chance to try La Mesa as we're only occasional visitors to Marco.

Highs: our server was so kind, helpful, and friendly. She really made the meal a fun experience. The chips are homemade. And I asked for their "hot" salsa. Excellent. Others said the enchiladas were very good. And the margs were $6.50 tonight (Tues) - they were fine - not amazing. I tried 3 tacos: carne asade, barbacoa and birria. All very good.

Lows: none at all.

We ate at a table but the bar area is cool and the whole restaurant features an outdoor vibe due to the huge doors that open.

Did I mention the abuelita in the back making fresh tortillas?
