“We visited recently for our anniversary, we love this place! We were warmly welcomed in, while our table was prepared. Getting to our table, we had a thoughtful card signed by the staff wishing us a happy anniversary as well. Our server, Doug, was simply amazing.We wanted to hang out with him all evening! He took amazing care of us, and made very thoughtful recommendations with his great knowledge of the menus. We had the onion tart for an appetizer and it was decadent paired well with some wine and a nice craft cocktail. Main courses of a heritage pork chop perfectly cooked, and my wife had some amazing fettuccini. The flourless chocolate cake for dessert was absolutely divine. The service and atmosphere were top notch. We will always make this one of our regular spots! Thank you for an amazing evening, and do whatever you can to keep Doug! We were given enough time to figure out our food order. Appetizer came out first and quickly. Entrae's came just as we were finishing up the appetizer. Everything was delicious and plentiful. “We just had the most amazing experience here. This was an absolute bucket list item for my husband to take an air boat tour and see live gators and this business did not disappoint. Anthony our boat captain was knowledgeable and witty. He made our experience both educational and fun. After we returned we had delicious food served by some of the most friendly servers I have ever encountered. Ingrid and Brittany made our dining experience so much more enjoyable due to their friendly and inviting attitudes and their knowledge of the menu. My elder mother walks with a walker and the host took her down the most narrow path and watched as she hit every chair and then didn't even orfer to help or move them. Of course this instantly upset us all. Then she left the menus on the table and walked away as my mother was still walking up the ramp! “We had a wonderful Anniversary dinner with a beautiful view of the river at the restaurant! We both ordered the Proscuitto scallop tagliatelle, and it was incredibly delicious! The portions were large, so there was almost half left over to take home. “Dustin's Bar-B-Q- Melbourne, FL- 4 Stars (Chain Restaurant Score) There are a few things we hold sacred here on the Space Coast one of those being Publix subs and the other being barbecue. Florida may be more of a melting pot than the rest of the South, but we still know good barbecue and in fact, insist upon it. I mention this as my random name generator appointed Dustin's Bar-B-Q in Melbourne as my next destination. One of my researchers was able to find out that they have been around since 1991, with their flagship perhaps being their Deland location, though this could not be confirmed. They are family-owned and operated and have expanded to 6 locations spaced from Orlando to Ormond Beach and down to our beloved Melbourne. Pulling into their Melbourne location I was greeted with a barren parking lot. Exiting the Big Boy Mobile, I am pretty sure I heard the wind whistle and witnessed a tumbleweed roll on by, but don't quote me on that. This could mean something, It could not. Remember readers, never judge a book by its cover, or in this case the food by the parking lot. The interior was COVID clean, well-spaced and pleasantly lit. I really enjoyed the plants throughout, real or not, they gave a nice warm feel to the joint. I was shown a table, handed a menu and got to work. I soon noticed a lady measuredly advancing upon my table, when she arrived, she languidly introduced herself as, Janelle. Janelle, while being competent and pleasant wasn't going to win any service awards, but she wasn't going to bring the curve down either. She asked if I had any questions or if I was ready to order. I requested an order of their Beef, Pork and Chicken Combo with sides of BBQ beans, mac and cheese and garlic bread. With an empty establishment, I was expecting my order to be done promptly and I was not disappointed as I soon saw Janelle unhurriedly escorting my meal to the table. Looking at the pictures, I can only assure my readers that from the food encapsulated therein there arose such a fragrant, down-home, Southern barbecue aroma that I nearly began to drool before Janelle had stepped back and asked if there was anything else with which she could help. Reaching blindly for my utensils, I absently brushed her off and commenced dining. The Beef, pork and chicken were all well cooked to barbecue perfection and while the sauce was nice and tangy, I measure all BBQ by Cryderman's (the gold standard) and this was not on that level. Even with flavorful garlic bread, competently prepared beans and properly cooked mac & cheese, this was just a tad short of the bar set by Cryderman's. This food was miles above Woody's and other nearby places, but not the top of the line. There is nothing wrong with that. If I'm in the mood or with a companion in the mood for above-average barbecue, I wouldn't think twice about stopping back in here. “After wanting to try this place for years, I finally made it in. Dinner was good. Scallops were plump and cooked perfectly. After a good night's sleep, I was ready for their breakfast buffet. There isn't much more in life I love more than a good buffet, and this one was great for a hotel restaurant. $18.99 included coffee and a fairly decent spread. My favorite item by far were the croissants. Real and delicious! Compliments to the chef, Val! Service was also excellent for both meals. Jennifer was just great! Got me whatever I needed. A great conversationalist too, made me feel right at home dining by myself. The cooks and servers go above and beyond here. I can't wait to come back!“

“It's a family friendly place . The food is amazing and Brielle are waitress was friendly and has a great sense of humor. I had my wife looking for a pine float on the menu and she couldn't find it so I got up and got a toothpick. Then she got to enjoy her first pine float . We spoke with Mrs. Jane who works here and has been at many of the friendly's locations. She is one of the nicest lady's we spoke to all day . And one other thing this place is 1000 time's better than steak & shake . They don't have waitresses and you have to order your food from some stupid kiosk machines. Aiden and Jayden took excellent care of us… the beers were absolutely phenomenal. We sampled many and enjoyed every single one! We are a bit snobbish on craft beers and this place hit all our top marks! We ordered the brisket burger with onion rings and it was recommended to try the barbecue sauce with it by Jaden. Honestly, it was absolutely fabulous. All of their sauces are homemade, including the honey mustard in the ranch dippy’s that we got. We had the privilege to meet the brewmaster and we had to shake his hand because he has done a phenomenal job. New Haven Ave., Melbourne, FL 32901 5 Stars Located in Historic Downtown Melbourne, in a building dating back to at least 1947, Main Street Pub opened in 2005 and they don't appear to be leaving anytime soon. This is one of those places you pass a million times and never give it a second thought. I am so glad the name popped up for review, forcing me to stop. This place is truly a hole in the wall. But what a wonderful hole it is! The service manager explained that they slow roast a bottom round daily and slice to order. I requested for one Pub Bleu Sandwich, and to appease those readers who insist that you will live longer avoiding red meat, I ordered one Tuna Salad Sandwich and a Caesar salad. Waiting for my grub, I enjoyed the history of the building I was in. Locals tell of a watering hole here in the 1800s; the actual location of this tale is just behind their Tiki Bar. Seriously cool if you're a history geek. It wasn't long before my chow was ready and after snapping a few pictures, I proceeded to the job at hand. One bite of the Pub Bleu and I knew the service manager to speak true (there is a song in there somewhere). I have never had Bleu cheese this fresh outside of a salad and that roast beef? Holy Bessie on a Rotisserie spit! It was spectacular! The Kaiser roll was just as fresh and the accompanying Au jus was to die for. What a sammich!! Forcing myself to stop at two bites as I had a job to do, not a maw to cram, I grabbed half of the Tuna Salad and took a healthy bite. This is outstanding. If they didn't catch the tuna that morning, I don't know their secret, but this had to be the freshest, tastiest tuna salad I have ever had grace my palate. My final choice was the Caesar salad. This item, like everything else, was made to order. Not only was the dressing spot on but the croutons were made on-site, NOT from Sysco. These immediately took me back to high school and the salad bar in the Senior Cafe at Mel Hi. Remember those croutons? When I leave a place that knows they have done an excellent job, they always invite me back. I usually make some excuses about having to do so many reviews when there is no time; however, I will make an exception for this place. If I possessed the power of Advowson, I would point this cook the Head Chef of Melbourne pubs. The Big Boy says, "Give 'em a try. This food is great. I will be back.“

“Wow! Being a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised with their bean burger. I thought it was going to be one of those flat frozen ones that other restaurants use. Nope! Hubba hubba, they make their own and it was deliciouso! I had the Mauna Loa without cheese and aioli. I bugged them, I'm sure, asking so many questions, is this vegan, is that vegan. Jones Walking into the immaculately clean Waffle House on Eau Gallie Blvd in Melbourne, Florida I was immediately transported back to my youth in the 1970s. Taking family vacations on the interstate highway system back then meant a Waffle House at practically every exit. They were everywhere. I swear it still smelled the same. They are still open 24 hours. Of course, back then, they were mostly filled with professional truck drivers, truck stop "gals", stale cigarette smoke, and drunks having just closed the local saloon, so it was nice to see some things have changed for the better! The layout is the same as it was with an open kitchen. I like being able to glance in and see what is transpiring on the grill. It can either fill me with anticipation or dread. In this case, it was anticipation as I watched their kitchen masters do their thing. My server was Janine and she was on the ball and outstanding in every regard a server can be measured. Thank you, Janine! I placed an order with her for two eggs, smothered, covered & chunked hash browns, bacon and waffles (I mean, they are the Waffle House after all!). As you can see by the pictures, the eggs were a perfect over medium, the hash browns were golden, and...oh, forget it. Who cares? It's after bar close, they are open and it's fine! As far as open 24 hours "greasy spoons" and "choke and pukes" that line American highways and byways, Waffle House is hands down the best of the lot. The Big Boy says, "any time of day you want some good Americana diner-type grub sans stale cigarette smoke, try the Waffle House"!“

We expected amazing food, anticipated creative twists to the dishes and still the foods quality and creativeness blew us away. Our waitress, Julie (I think) was so great at providing helpful information on the menu and the restaurant, as well as some hilarious jokes. The 90s-2000s alt rock music was awesome…felt like it was our own personal playlist. We ate inside, near the back, and I was really impressed with the thoughtful decor and classiness of the place. The outdoor area was also nice and as we walked through I was surprised it was not hot because of the full shade and breeze coming off the water. Please do yourself a favor and try this amazing restaurant…You will not regret it. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes! Some feedback: *Parking was a struggle, at 630 we were one of 3 vehicles making circles around the overflow parking for 5 minutes waiting for someone to leave because there were no open spots (stressful because we had a reservation and arrived right on time, not early). The spots are huge, which is nice, but could be repainted to shrink and accommodate more vehicles *Love the kettle chip starter, reminded me of Cypress table! I just had to tell you guys I think a homemade pickle starter would be amazing and also one that you guys would nail! *The sandy lot to walk through, to get to the hostess in the back, was not great. Not trying to be boujee lol but I do think a walking path, rocks, or something very simple would elevate the experience and guide guests to the back. *Lastly, love love the decor and the comfy, cute antique chairs but the front legs on my chair bent out in front of me, while I was in it eating, and thankfully I was able to hold myself while my husband jumped up to grab me. A separate server noticed right away and immediately removed the chair and replaced it. I am pregnant, but not huge lol so I’d say it’s just a result of vintage decor and maybe a check of the chairs regularly would be good, just for safety reasons. Also, what seemed to be a manager or lead came over very soon after it happened to make sure I was fine.“

“Urban Prime has been a go-to of mine for years, and it never disappoints. Through all its changes, the food, drinks, and service have stayed top-notch. Chef Kyle’s happy hour menu is a standout—the “Not-So-Little Butter Burger” and Brussels sprouts were the perfect match for my Old Fashioned (not smoked, but still hit all the right notes). The service here is exceptional. From the hostess to Adrienne behind the bar and Iman Elder on the floor, they made me feel genuinely welcomed—a nice touch since my friend had a genuine mix-up and couldn’t make it. Beyond the dining experience, I also appreciate Urban Prime’s philanthropic spirit. I had the pleasure of working with them during Jazoo and Safari Under the Stars (‘19-‘21), benefiting the Brevard Zoo, and again for The Scott Center for Autism (‘23), their commitment to community stood out then just as much as it does now.
