“Mother's day, no reservations equaled 15 minute wait-no biggie. Opted to eat at the bar. Happy hour was well worth it! Service was fast, friendly and bar staff were personable and attentive. My wife ordered the beautifully cut and cooked. I had the dryer tomato and shrimp special-generous portion with huge shrimp. Apps and entrees are all reasonably priced so if going as a family, great meals will not crash the budget. Highly recommended if in the area!“

“While they did not have the 12 ounce steak available, they had a thick 8 ounce steak that was cooked with such flavor and amazing presentation. The broccolini we had was the most flavorful and cooked to perfection. The chef even took time to come out and talk to me about the food. 5 stars!“

“Great food and service. The background music was rap and music that didn't fit the atmosphere of a restaurant. Island, reggae, easy listening etc... would have made the experience perfect. It was also too loud, it was hard to talk across the table.The food was good, the boils are big. I felt the corn wasn't the freshest or it was possibly frozen corn that was used, but it was very flavorful.“

“My husband ordered a Coconut Shrimp dinner which was just okay because he found the Shrimp to be small and slightly overcooked. I had lobster bisque which actually was VERY good! Also had a small salad which the dressing that it usually is served with I am very allergic to! Our waitress Holly was such a delight. She made sure the kitchen didn't accidentally serve me raspberry dressing as did the food runner who brought out my food! They were very aware of and respected the fact of a severe allergy . Holly checked on us several times, brought our check quickly and everything was with a smile. She was fantastic!! The atmosphere masterfully designed sea themed that is both casual and upscale, which works great for the beach town. Captains daily catch is always fresh and healthy portion. The French toast is to die for. Wish they were open for dinner.“

“We are staying in IRB for 10 days and usually hop around to find the best tacos and oysters! Day one we stopped by beach waves grill IRB for raw oysters and the grouper tacos! We had the BEST meal- everything was PERFECT! Oysters are INCREDIBLY priced and worth it here- big and fresh! TACOS ARE INSANELY GOOD! We have stopped trying diff places for oysters during our stay because nothing compares- left disappointed everywhere else so far.. So good and the prices are insanely fair. Win win! 10/5 stars! Also we leave our beach chairs and walk 30 seconds to beach waves grill. Just a big win!“

“Good Food, but Rushed We were the first customers of the day—early for us. I think the servers meant well, but everything was rushed. I felt like I was in a fast casual restaurant rather than a place where I would spend $125 for the two of us. Slow it down a bit and let us digest for a minute before dropping the next course. The food was good. We started with the recommended Bruschetta. It isn’t typical. Instead, the topping is in an accompanying bowl. The topping was delicious—how can you go wrong with tomatoes, basil and garlic in balsamic vinegar? We then shared a bowl of their special tomato bisque and it was delicious. We also shared a Caesar salad which my wife thought was too garlicy (I’m not sure that’s possible), so I ate her share. The server had asked me if I did or didn’t want anchovies on my salad so I said sure, but on the side. I had no idea that I’d be charged an extra $2.50, especially since it didn’t say that on the menu. Shame, shame. For mains I had the Pasta Pescatore which was good, but a little oily. My wife had the Chicken Piccata which she enjoyed. We accompanied those with some wines by the glass from their decent collection and they were fairly priced. I might go back, but I’d be clear with the server about not being rushed.“

Robot was entirely unnecessary and slow. It was noon and there were few diners in the place. I give them credit for giving it a deep clean and redecorating - it feels pleasant and fresh. Food was good, but for that kind of money? I'm sorry, I cannot justify it... Honestly, I think I was overcharged as the final bill did not even have a breakdown. My rating is not based on atmosphere, food, nor service. Everything was fine. It's just I felt the bill was too high for a diner lunch.“

“Looking for a nice place to eat, try this place. It is in a small strip mall on 14th Street and Gulf Blvd. I am glad I found it. It's a small place with very good food. Every thing we tried was very good. I will be sure to go back next year when we stay here again. The grouper sandwich I had was very good. “We decided since we had some friends along to try the at the table grilling. It is a lot of fun and the food was very good. We ordered an angry tuna sushi roll as well, but would have had plenty of food without it. The grilling combo we got was for four people and came with miso soup and ginger salad for everyone and then a tempura shrimp appetizer. It came with 4 different meats bone in short ribs, spicy pork, beef bulgogi, and chicken. Along with 2 sets of ban chans the little pickled accompaniments and sauces and bowls of white rice. They have beer and a nice selection of Saki and Soju also. The service was quick and friendly, we went early on Saturday evening. They also have plenty of other delicious food options besides the table grilling, if playing with your food is not your deal.“

“We were a party of 9 on Easter Sunday. The party included a Medical Service Dog. The staff were exceptional! They moved tables around to ensure there was space for the dog to lie down and wouldn't be in anyone's way. The server did an excellent job taking care of all of us, getting the orders straight and getting fresh drinks as needed. The food was delicious, and everyone's meal came out at the same time and piping hot.We all had a wonderful experience and recommend Bonefish Grill highly.“
