“On our way to Bush Gardens from Orlando, we just happened to find Uncle Fats Tavern. We loved their Wednesday wing special in honey BBQ sauce, Philly cheese steak sandwich, fried clam strips, onion rings and three delicious large iced tea, for under $50.00. Everything was good and flavorful. We went back two days later with relatives, to try other items on their menu. For starters we had their delicious potato skins, fried pickles and jalapeño poppers combo. For dinner the seafood platter, Buffalo chicken sandwich, pastrami on rye sandwich and of course more chicken wings, again everything was delicious. The place is clean,the atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. Lyndsay our server was great and very friendly, a 10 out of 10 for her.Parking: Small plaza, but plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Children friendly atmosphere during the daytime.Wheelchair accessibility: One level, no stairs.“

“Chik Fil A is the most clean and organized place for a meal under the sun. First, alike the chain of diners I've experienced in both Tampa & Atlanta, I've never seen employee drama in the workplace, as everyone is always peaceful and ready to serve customers. Secondly, I've never seen a place with such a large crowd move it's customers through indoor/outdoor lines more swifter than Chik Fil A. “Oh my gosh!! When I say this place was amazing, it is quite literally an understatement. Fly Chix was the best chicken joint I’ve ever come across, and I’d definitely recommend it. The food was impeccable and fresh from scratch. In addition to that, the customer service was incredible. The overall vibe of the restaurant is welcoming but also just a cool place to eat at and enjoy. Can’t wait to find myself back there again. 10/10 would definitely recommend?“

“I was visiting from out of town. The food was very good. The process is very much like chipoltle but with a healthier farm to table version of food. I thought it was going to be a sit-down restaurant. I was told the steak was a great option to go with along with the mac and cheese.. It did not disappoint. I got a mixture of rice and greens with the sweet potatoes. When thinking about this does not sound like the best combination. However, when you add the garlic aoili sauce, it is perfect. I like to mix my food up. I would definitely try another option should i visit tampa again.“

“I do not know whom or who was working in the kitchen on March 16, 2024 in the evening past 7pm...but whomever the person or group of people that constructed my pizza were, they pulled off some pizza magic. The crust was perfectly light and crispy. The cheese was cheesin in every facet in tandem with sauce. And the pepperoni and sausage were hitting on all levels. “This place is so good!! I've passed by Greenlane so many times that I finally decided it was my turn to try them and now I'm hooked ! I got a harvest bowl, but instead of the dressing it comes with I got the chipotle, and also added corn poblano and the Flavors came together so well! I love the sweet potato with the spice from the poblano and chipotle ranch. It was a match made in heaven. The slushies are so good I've been back since to get another slushie and salad and it's was fantastic. Definitely going to be back!“

“I had take out Chicken Pad Drunken Noodle that was Thai Hot++ (EXTREME HEAT—I love spice) with Chicken. The chicken was luscious, delicate, and delectable. The noodles were perfect, and the spice brought real tears to my eyes. I say this as a chef who’s worked in fine dining and a Michelin Star restaurant, go check them out. If you don’t want to dine in, order take out, or delivery. I didn’t take any pictures of the Pan, but I’m adding a pic of the duck I had a few months back for perspective.“

“The hand tossed pizza is made with fresh ingredients and home made sauces. The pizza is delicious. There's craft beer, wine and soda. The gelato is so tasty and creamy. “Fairly new establishment in this area. I am now a fan of Peruvian food. Everything is good here! We've visited a few times and have never been disappointed. We've tried the Empanadas, the Papa A La Huancaina Appetizer which is boiled potatoes with a spicy cream cheese sauce. It is soooo good! Must try! We've had the half chicken dinners with a side salad and spicy beans. The chicken is tender and tasty. The chicken tacos and the chicken rice bowl are both very good. I have to say the green sauce is the best sauce out there! The establishment is very clean and the service is friendly and on point.“

“Think of it as a Mediterranean/ Greek influenced Chipotle. I would say the quality (and taste) is a notch above but the price is comparable. We have been to this location numerous times now and it's always Beena consistently good. My favorite is the harissa sweet and spicy chicken! “Okay, do yourself a favor and try Subs N Such. All of their subs are great and can be done pressed similar to their popular Cuban. It’s really a unique local spot. Admittedly it’s not large, only a few tables for 4 a maybe less tables for 2. They do nonstop business when we are there and they, and an incredible wall of 100s if not 1000-plus collectible bottles of Coke and Pepsi. Bonus, they have real sweet tea! I normally do cold subs such as there Super Italian, my kids prefer the hot subs such as their cheesesteak, pastrami and Cubans…“

“Café Cuba has some beautiful pictures of Cuba on the walls, it’s a cute little spot. The sandwiches we ate were good.. they come fairly plain so we had to request the lettuce & tomatoes. We asked for cheese on each but they forgot to add it. The overall flavor was good, the bread was fresh and the temperature was just right. I wasn’t impressed with the cafe con leche at all, improvement in that area is needed. They have a nice size menu & offer hot, ready to serve food as well if you’re in a time crunch. The menu is Cuban and Dominican so the name of the restaurant is a bit misleading. Our experience was nice but the woman behind the counter who attended us, told us to take pictures and told us she wanted a review from us when she brought us our food. I don’t go to restaurants to be told to leave a review. A review is usually asked for if experience is enjoyable,etc. Overall our experience was good and we enjoyed our food.“

“The food was out super quick and our server was polite. The egg salad was like a 7/10, not mind blowing but still pretty good. Scoop of salad comes with a pickle spear, individually packed crackers, and a sugar frosted cookie. I ordered a side of fresh fruit, which I enjoyed. BUT the grapes were kinda squishy (which is expected in restaurants 9/10 times, I've never been somewhere where the grapes are crisp and crunchy ). Sitting area was spacious and they played some country pop music. There were some crumbs on the booth seats and tables in some areas, and i can only assume they simply hadn't had the time to clean those seats up yet. overall pretty fine establishment, if you like chicken you'll probably enjoy the food way more than I did (I don't eat meat lol).“

“Love the jalapeño chicken salad as well as the broccoli salad. Those with sodium issues, limit your portion as the chicken salads have high sodium content. Review it and make your own decision. Always courteous and pleasant service at no matter what CSC I go to. Clean too! Prices are good.“

“A coworker introduced me to this awesome spot today. I ordered the black and Bleu burger with a chili and fries. The fries were fresh as it gets! The burger was made to order and very tasty, I was impressed by the bacon thickness and flavor. Everything was delicious and I'll be back when I'm in the area.“

“Defiantly the best Pizza in the SemHeights area. It's a thinner (but not too thin) crust NY style Pizza. Nice crisp, excellent toppings. There is a lot...lot of pizza places in Tampa and most of the are pretty terrible, this is one of the good ones. Good beer selection, local craft brewery stuff, not the largest selection but they got all the bases covered. Indoor Outdoor seating. Yes it is a converted gas station, but is done surprisingly well. Has to be the only time I ever seen a gas station converted successfully. All in all great place, it's defiantly my go to for local pizza.“

“I first knew about Village Inn in Omaha, Nebraska so imagine my surprise when I came to Florida. I first visited Village Inn in clearwater and then for whatever reason, it shut down and then another one on Dale Mabry and that became some other establishment, so I started coming to this one closer to Kennedy also on Dale Mabry. I was happy to see a familiar face from another location named Rosie-an amazing human being with a heart of gold. Another familiar face is Brenda and Brenda is an amazing server with super service and high attention to detail. Now Village Inn at this location can up it's game a bit by interior updates for a more pleasant dining experience. Most of the servers are exceptional such as GG, Tiffany, Sharonda, Holly, Denise, Brenda, Danielle, Angie, Jackie and Annette. GG is by far my most favorite because she is attentive, always has a smile on her face, and goes the extra mile to deliver a wonderful experience. I am a regular here and visit Village Inn when Im in town-Wish they had Village Inn in NY, NJ, CT, PA, and VA with at least one GG in each location. GG is high energy and super at her job as she takes a lot of pride in what she does and she takes her job very seriously. GG has a high attention to detail, gets every detail of my order and usually knows what I like before I ask just the way I like it. Without asking, GG is usually on top of her A-game and replenishes empty drinks and always has a smile on her face with a wonderful small talk exchange in a proactive manner. GG is a strong asset to Village Inn as a high energy server and pleasant to talk with. Tiffany is much the same way and Tiffany is super chill as well. On the same note, Ive had absolutely atrocious service by someone who forgot to give me utensils, brought the wrong dressing, and apologize for being distracted by another table to the point I had to ask for another server. I get it some people are having a bad day and got distracted we are all human . Awesome set of managers such as Joie, Rosie, Denise, and Cherie. At random times, I always pay for any law enforcement in appreciation for all they do as well as other tables just cuz. Food is fresh and tasty for most selections as well as customizing food the way I like it such as avocado salad, avocado toast, and other types of dishes done in a certain way.“

“Stopped in for lunch before heading to airport. Didn’t realize that Chicago’s very own Portillo’s had made its way to Tampa, but sure enough it now planted roots in another Florida hotspot (there are two in Orlando). Ok, on to the review. Being a native of the City of Wind, I look for the food that reminds me of home every time I visit a city that has a Portillo’s. I actually believe everything on the menu, that I’ve had, is good! From the Hot dogs, to the Maxwell Street Polish, to the Chili Cheese Dogs (my go to!!), to the Cheesy Italian Beef on Croissant (decadent and delightful!!!!) to the spicy chicken sandwich (ask for the brioche bun - you’ll thank me later) to my new favs, the salads!!! All are good but it’s something about that chopped salad tho!!!!!! This day, I had a cheesy Italian beef on croissant and added Italian sausage (order as the “combo” as that is how it’s loaded into the computer - saves time from then having to call a manager over as in non Chicago locations, folks don’t order that apparently - I always do). I added grilled onion, mayo and sweet peppers on the side. I also got fries and cheese dipping sauce and a large Diet Coke of course. I also ended lunch with a slice of their famous (and sinfully delicious) Chocolate cake - the most consistently moist cake I’ve ever had across the chain. They really do a great job with it! You’ve got to try it at least once, trust me!! All in all, great place, great service and of course great food!! When I’m back in Tampa, Portillo’s is a must visit!“

“My boyfriend and I stopped in to this location late night to grab dinner after the gym and were instantly greeted by two fabulous employees, Ellis and DJ. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we felt appreciated as customers and have been treated amazingly. They were out of the saffron basmati rice (it was cooking when we arrived but not ready yet) and my boyfriend and I typically only get that rice when eating at Cava however we decided to try the brown rice instead and it did not disappoint. The taste and quality of the food and soft drinks we had were superb. Ellis and DJ’s radiant, divine, and welcoming energy made mine and my boyfriend’s experience better than we could’ve ever imagined. Their persistent effort, compassion, and remarkable customer service has not gone unnoticed. The both of you have a genuine effect of radiating happiness towards your customers and I am very appreciative of that. Thank you once again! “My family and I decided to give this a chance. The Pumpkin Smash burger was juicy and delicious. It was loaded with tomatoes , crispy lettuce, sweet pickles and fresh onions. The fries were hot and well seasoned. The all beef hot dog was another tasty choice along with the offered sides.The attendees are lively, friendly and entertaining.Many restaurants on Channelside offer Military discounts, unfortunately Turtable does not.“

We got pad Thai and teriyaki stir fry, and have enough of both left over for a small lunch today. “This is definitely the HOT spot in the Water Street District. Came here on a Friday night and the place was popping. They were playing old school hip hop which took me back to my childhood. The staff was super friendly and recommended the CC-Pops pizza. The bartender said it was the house favorite and a bit spicy. The pizza was on POINT! Perfect amount of spice and totally reminded me of being in New York. I folded in half and felt like I stepped back in time jamming out to good tunes with pizza in hand. I highly recommend this spot to pizza lovers or anyone looking for a fun spot to grab a drink.“
